I visited this location because I was in the area and have been dragging my heels to get here. I've been driving around with a broken high hat fixture since the onset of Covid-19 and I'm tired of looking at the abyss in my kitchen ceiling. Because these were installed 17 years ago, the fixture isn't replaceable as it's no longer sold. Needless to say, I was like a fish out of water because I'm no electrician. Fortunately, Lindsay was extremely knowledgeable and assisted me with finding a modern day replacement product. She helped me find a box of 4 and answered all of my questions. I'm very inquisitive. We have been to this location often for various hardware or outdoor items that one would find typically at a Home Depo. The staff that I have dealt with were very pleasant but some seem to be that knowledgeable about the products in the departments that they represented. That will not necessarily stop me from shopping at this location. However, from the reviews I have read it seems that customers that have purchase substantial products such as windows frames and so were very disappointed. Unfortunately, the Home Depo's reviews that I have read on Yelp would deter many customers including myself from purchasing certain products at this location. I walked into Home Depot as soon as they opened. 7:00 a.m. only to find out that they do not have the disabled persons scooter carts at the entrance. I had to walk all the way down to the customer service department and one of the ladies was nice enough to go hunt one down for me. I was glad that she brought it to me because it's very painful for me to walk. I sat in the scooter only to figure out that it was very low on battery. I had to drive it to the other end of the store past all of the checkout lines and there were four of them stuffed in a corner. All of them with the batteries drained down to almost nothing. They were not even plugged in to charge. Mind you, this is as soon as they open the store so why they were not plugged in the night before is beyond me. I figured I would use the bathroom while I was in there. Upon walking into the bathroom, they huge monstrous trash bin in the doorway was completely overflowing full. I've never seen a larger trash bin in my life. The bathrooms were filthy. They look like they had not been cleaned in days. Garbage, toilet paper, feces all over the floor. How do you open a store first thing in the morning and not have someone clean the bathrooms? And to not have the handicap scooters right at the entrance mix zero sense. If someone's handicapped and cannot walk, how does it make sense to walk to the other end of the store away from the entrance to grab the scooter? I asked an employee and they said it is because they didn't have any plugs. They are a home improvement store for God sakes. They can't install a few plugs? This store is a hot mess. I ended up leaving and going to Lowe's and found everything I needed there. I'll drive to Jupiter Home Depot any day, if need be, to avoid this store. read more

These eight amazing people are so helpful, delightful , upbeat, genuinely kind and overall pleasant!!! They all took pride as if they had owned Home Depot corporation themselves. Be aware of Home Depot horrible customer service #corporategreed In the beginning of September I purchased flooring at Home Depot Lake Park #0220 Tommy G was the sales person and I purchased up front over $13000 for new flooring and installation. After 3 months of waiting on the materials I get a call from Sharniece stating that it will take another 3 months for the order to arrive. Two weeks later I received flooring that I did not order. The next day I went to Home Depot and I was told at first that that the order cannot be returned and after 2 hours of arguing Sharnice informed me that I would have to pay a 25% return fee. Then Kevin the manager come down and tells me that an email was sent to let us know of the changes but after inspection I realized that they misspelled my email so I never received it. I also never agreed on the flooring that was sent. After 3 hours at the store I was not able to get my money back. My wife had to go the following day to explain the situation again and told her that she has to return the order it was probably #1000 of wood and we would get our money back. After more phone calls and arguing Home Depot agreed to pick up the flooring materials and told us that we would get a refund. They came to pick and the next day on December 7 Kevin send me an email and said that the transition board were missing in the value of $444. I took pictures of everything so someone must mist placed or stole the missing items. Today is December 22 2022 and I was only refunded $6000 Home Depot still owe me $7000 and my flooring installation is at a stand still after 4 months of waiting. What do I need to do to get my money back? Call the police? Call my lawyer? read more

Had to get a Fridge delivered and informed them it was a second floor Kitchen. When the delivery arrived the people said they don't do second floors, no one does second floors with stairs, and no one uses harneses to move appliances. Absolute worst customer service. 9 people plus me in line this evening at customer service and 7 employees at customer service with aprons on yet one associate was actually at the register helping. Zero interest in helping customers. After spending two hours in the store dealing with a return (that was in my favor) I took my products and walked out. Called the store manager who apologized but will never return here. We must spend $100-$200 a day here for our business however I'd rather now drive 30 min out of my way to go to a store that actually wants my business such as Ace, Lowe's, etc. read more

Today we drove about 165 hours to place an export order with Home Depot at this location not knowing what to expect after have a horrible experience with Lowes in 2022. Martha the Pro Desk supervisor stated her export person had already left for the day, but she'll try her best to help my husband and I... a few questions into the discussion she phones Carlos her export person to our surprised he picked up and was still in the store. Carlos had already called for his ride for his rental because he was leaving to go on his vacation and on his own time came to help Martha while he was waiting for his ride. Then from nowhere Melissa the Pro Account special appeared and took over the order on the computer while Carlos directed her. Carlos showed us just how much he loves his job and together with Melissa conquer every challenge they encounter with our order. Martha assisted them as much as she could. All three of them were just amazing in their professionalism, accommodating, competent, caring, empathetic just wonderful human beings. Home Depot should cherish them as they are a tremendous asset to their establishment. Carlos we can't thank you enough for your selflessness in knowing you were off the clock and came to help us in our time of need. May you continue to be blessed by the one above for your kind heart. I am still waiting for my door frame to be scheduled and replaced. The original install was 2015. The account managers are nearly impossible to get in touch with. Mean while the inside of the framing is molding. Beware of the sales people showing off the lifetime warranty for the windows and doors. No stars!!! This is the worst experience I've ever had! Just moved cross country and had a Whirlpool washer delivered to my new home. It never worked properly from the beginning and Home Depot will not exchange it. They sent me to Whirlpool and now Whirlpool sent a contractor to come fix it. Flamingo Appliance has been to my home twice and still can't fix it-broken sensor, motor is bad, etc... This washer is a lemon and neither Home Depot in Lake Park nor Whirlpool will exchange! I will NEVER buy anything Whirlpool or be back at the Home Depot in Lake Park!!!! Horrible customer service. I will not being going back to this store, or possibly any Home Depot. I do not work for the store (and don't get an employee discount) and do not appreciate being put to work at self-checkout because they do not want to hire and pay for employees to do so. They offer you help or you can wait on line for the one person doing employee checkout. On top that, we are in a worldwide pandemic and having people do self checkout without someone disinfecting the checkout counter and related equipment is unsafe. You're forced to touch the same price reader as the party before you. In terms of sanitizer, I saw none in the store (there was a bottle on a table outside which requires everyone to touch the bottle, I guess they never saw automatic dispensers) . read more

I went in on Saturday and dealt with a nice salesman Mark in the plumbing department. I was looking for an estimate to get a hot water heater replaced. Mark took my information and put into his computer. He told me someone should cal me that afternoon to set up an appointment. No call Saturday so I called the store Sunday. First call told me they couldn't get thru to the subcontractors that I should call myself. I then called Home Depot online as I was directed there by a store manager. I was forwarded to Hot Water Dept then to sub contractor. I made an appointment for Monday morning and was told the contractor would call when they were on their way. Got home and they were waiting. He looked things over and said his office would call that afternoon with the estimate, he said it I liked the estimate they could install the next day. Well 4:30pm no estimate. I called Home Depot customer care who called the store manager. The manager couldn't understand as they never have problems with Delta National. The manager took my info said he has an employee Ann Marie that works with Delta, she would call them and get back to me. She calls me back saying she couldn't reach them and knew they closed at 5pm. She also mentioned that she would call them in the morning and get back to me. Well it's now 5pm and still no estimate from Delta National or call from Ann Marie at Home Depot on Northlake in Palm Beach Gardens. I was referred by two people who had great success with Home Depot. Well needless to say I won't be using Home Depot for my new Water Heater. read more
