My dad and I swung by here quickly to pick up some items we needed for a bathroom repair. It was a typical Home Depot visit. Nothing out of the ordinary. This location is crazy busy. But it was a Saturday so I expected a higher than normal crowd. Other reviews say the location is hard to get to which isn't wrong. If you're not careful and miss the turn in you will have to navigate through a shopping center and other highly trafficked areas to find the parking lot. I can see how it can be annoying but it's not really Home Depot's fault. Short staffed as always at the self checkout but they were doing the best they could so I will not dock them any stars. One person can only work so quickly and still be helpful. Overall good trip. read more

I didn't want to deduct any stars for situations outside of the employees control. Each member of staff that I spoke with was very helpful, although very busy! My own situation involved buying a water heater and I had questions regarding the warranty for my old one. Which I found out AFTER I paid for a brand new one out of pocket wasn't actually through Home Depot. It isn't Home Depot's fault, I didn't have the correct information to begin with and they were basing off what I relayed to them. The lady at customer service was very helpful, but I had to wait in line a good 10 minutes to get to her. Again, not her fault. Ugh, this place is hard to get to, not on a main thoroughfare, and in a tight location. I drove through and the parking lot was busy and riddled with stacked items on pallets and rows of landscaping items. It was a bit overwhelming in the sense that it was crowded, more with clutter than people. Tho the people lining the building to pick up purchases that are larger than a handful was enormous. Sadly so, it made it a maze just to drive through. Home Depot for me has had a reputation of disorganization and clutter, and this one is the worst I've visited yet. Didn't even make it inside to experience that. I usually have to get in the store to see the chaos, their chaos extended to the exterior. It's a sad situation. read more

Andrew Green, department supervisor, was obviously very busy, but walked with me to the other side of the store to another department and up and down an aisle helping find what I needed. When we couldn't find it he was all over his phone trying to help, HD apparently doesn't carry it. We then talked about options and what could alternatively done. Andrew is very personable, helpful, and caring. Usually I would say give the man a promotion but he is such an asset that a promotion might take him away from his customer service skills. Instead give the man a big fat pay raise and a 6 pack of his favorite beverage. Way to go Andrew! read more

I ordered a complete cabinet set for my kitchen remodel ($11,000). KraftMaid company sent broken cabinet after broken cabinet. Each time they reordered, they refused to move my order to the top of the list. EIGHT MONTHS LATER, I finally have a completed kitchen, albeit with installed damaged cabinets as I could not go without a kitchen sink for another month. KraftMaid offered to refund me $1500 for "my trouble"-just enough to cover the extra I paid to my installer for having to rebuild broken cabinets, meet with delivery people on multiple occasions, and fight with the company about the problem. Home Depot offered me an additional $2500, for a total of $4000. Originally, my grievance was with KraftMaid, as they were at fault for not sending a quality product. However, once I agreed to the settlement, Home Depot ghosted me. They refused to return calls despite leaving numerous messages; I kept getting the run around. I eventually filed a complaint with the BBB, at which time I finally heard back from Home Depot. I was told the "new manager" was unaware of my situation. (I find it hard to believe the management team authorized a $2500 payment without consulting the manager.) After settling up, the manger reached out to say that she would send me a $100 gift card as a thank you for my patience. I never received that gift card. I suppose that is for the best, as I do not plan to EVER shop at a Home Depot again. read more

Other than having good prices, this location has bad parking, no staff to assist you when needed and the pick up (curbside) option is horrible. No reason for me to be out there waiting 45min, then when calling they put me on hold. Ive used the pick up option twice and in both occasion it has been bad (order was placed the previous day with a email confirmation confirming order is ready). Tried their competitors for that service and they are way better, no more than 10min wait. read more

I suggest browsing the store site to find what aisle the item you need is on. It appears that this Home Depot needs to hire a lot more staff. When you can find a staff member, they are helpful, but it's rare that you can find someone other than a cashier to help at this location. This location is woefully understaffed. Also, they do a lot of stocking and re-stocking during busy hours, so the stockers will (understandably) have aisles blocked off. At times, this location is actually quite chaotic - tons of shoppers, very little staff, and lots of stocking happening. But, when you have a diy home project, you come here or Lowe's for the best selection of goods. Prices seem a bit all over the place, but during the sales times, Home Depot prices are very competitive. I also like the fact that they offer a veteran's discount. You can only get it in person, not via the website. If you do make a large pickup order online, you may have to wait for over 1/2 hour for someone to help you load up. The last time I made a large pickup order, I waited for 35 minutes for someone to help me load up. I was in the process of doing it myself when a staff member was finally able to help. Perhaps, later this year they will be fully staffed -- fingers crossed. This location is always busy, so surely their corporate office will allow more hiring. read more

When I called this store, the First Lady hung up on me after giving me a terrible explanation on why they didn't have it. The second guy I called told me they didn't sell the product at all. When I told him the lady at NFW had went and looked for it and said they did sell it, he promptly apologized and looked it up online. When I told him the lady had gone to see if it was on the floor, he refused to go and look for it, and then told me there was none in the district even though other stores had it in stock when I looked online. I rented a High Roof Cargo Van at Penske.com for pick up at my Home Depot in Lake Worth. The van was perfect, clean, and there on time. But the Home Depot employees who charge you and give you the keys VARIED A LOT. All were nice, but Daniel, at the time of my reservation was clueless, saying he didn't have that vehicle (altho it was in his parking lot, and had been brought up from FW that afternoon). He said the vehicle number had to be on my reservation (not so, there was no vehicle number). He spent quite a bit of time on Penske's local management number, but couldn't get it resolved and left me in the rain outside the closed HD Rentals. I spent more time on it that night, talking to that Penske number, and it seemed handled. It was, and Patty at 6AM the next morning had the key and painlessly handed the van over to me. My complaint is that I planned on loading it that night. It cut my truck time. Penske said they would give me a discount, but when the final bill was generated there was no discount. Of course the HD employee (different) that took my return did not know anything about it. I could have rented the same truck from HD for about $25 more. FYI: They DO NOT GIVE VA DISCOUNTS on online orders!!! Let me first say that Lexi is absolutely the very best customer service representative I have had interaction with in like FOREVER. We got her help yesterday and when she saw us this afternoon she waived and said "Hi". When she was finished with the customers she was helping, she came over to where we were and asked if we needed help. We checked out with what wasn't showing available online. I then proceeded to the CS desk to pick up my online order. My turn brought me to someone else. Once again, when Lexi was finished with her customers she stopped by and asked our associate if there was anything she could do to help us because she helped us yesterday. Part of our online order was broken so another trip inside brought me to Lexi. She provided a refund and we chatted briefly until another customer arrived. So yesterday at 5:00pm we went to the tattoo shop and found the pipes broke in the empty unit next to us and flooded the shop. After I got the water shutoff I ran home to get a wetvac. Well I didn't remember I threw the hose away because it broke. So I ran to Home Depot to get a new one. It was 6:14pm. I went to go inside and a guy at the door stopped me and told me they closed at 6:00pm. I explained my emergency to him. Told him I need only a hose nothing else. There was people still checking out. We just moved to this area and we frequent this Home Depot on a regular basis. It's always a pleasant experience. They are really all about making sure you have a good experience. We were there the other day to buy a lawn mower. They ran out of ones to grab off the shelf and had to pull one down from the top shelf. It's 4th of July weekend and they were pretty busy. The lady helping us went to get a fork lift driver. It took a long time we ended going with a more expensive mower. The lady who helped us, apologized for the long delay and gave a very good discount on the lawn mower we did get. Which was totally unexpected. We also bought an appliance there as well and had great experience with the delivery service as well. All around pleasant experiences. read more

This location has an expanded inventory selection as well as a rental center. My experience here was very good. Joseph at the rental counter was not only helpful but informative, courteous and provided exceptional customer service. (Of course I called to let his manager know how fabulous Joseph was.) As my cousin and I walked about the store looking for various items to complete a carpet replacement and a sewer line replacement, we were approached by several individuals asking if they could provide assistance. In addition, we found all of the items no matter how obscure they were and at a reasonable price. This location is very convenient to major access points and was easy to get in and out of quickly. This place is close for me to get to but I need to start going to the one in North Fort Worth. Typical Home Depot where the associates walk right past you when you are looking for something (I was in plumbing). The store is very disorganized. Not everything related is in the right spot as it is in other stores. While I was loading lumber, there were actually 4 associates waiting for me to leave the area. They never offered to help, but they waited for me to load about 20 boards since they closed off the section. Check out was painless and the cashier was very nice but never offered to get someone to help me load up the truck... Not that I would have accepted but just seems strange that it wasn't offered. But as luck would have it a associate was walking behind me picking up carts... But again ignored me and never offered to help. Someone backing out of the park lot actually stopped to help me close my tail gate. Just a poorly managed Home Depot. Has everything you need, good luck finding it. i ordered two bathroom vanities with sink tops. The arrival to store shipping date was by 7/30/21. Instead after placing order wo days later the shipping changed to 8/10/21. One vanity sits in Dallas the other in Fort Worth. Fort Worth is local to Lake Worth. Makes no sense that it takes 2 weeks to ship something that is miles away from Lake Worth store. The attitude of Home Depot is pathetic. They care nothing for customer service. You'd think the manager of store would pick them up to satisfy the customer but they don't care either. Some of this review concerns this store in particular, and some Home Depot in general. With regard to this store, I have shopped here for several years now and have been fairly pleased with my experiences. I have purchased windows, flooring, paint, plants, etc. My Home Depot credit card has been well used. I live in a small (800 square feet) house built in 1943, which I have been restoring over the last few years. On my most recent visit, I wanted three new exterior doors, and three storm doors. The first gentleman who "helped" me was obviously disappointed that I wasn't interested in $3,000 doors. I told him I wanted very basic and inexpensive doors. He rather reluctantly showed me a couple, then quite rudely handed me over to another employee. I'm still not sure what that was about. The second guy was very helpful, and I ended up finding the doors I wanted for a total of less than $1,000. I was very pleased with that, and was ready to go forward with the purchase and arrange for installation. I asked how much the installation would be, and at first he told me he couldn't tell me because an independent contractor would be performing the installation and I would need to get an estimate from the contractor. I pressed him about it some more, and asked him to give me a ballpark of what he had seen in the past. Finally, he told me it would probably cost around $2,000 for the installation. I found that a bit shocking, and told him I would just buy the doors and my next door neighbor would most likely be happy to install them for me for half that. He then began treating me like an idiot, asking what recourse I would have if he didn't do it properly. I told him the guy has done lots of work for me, such as painting, installing my flooring, landscaping, etc., and I would walk next door and knock on the door if something was wrong. He smirked at me again, and said that if I was willing to give up the one-year (!) warranty I would have on installation if I had it done by the Home Depot contractor, go for it. I just laughed and walked out. I'll go to Lowe's and try again. Now for the other situation. I ordered a refrigerator online, and was informed the delivery would take place on 12/10. On 12/3, I received a text message telling me I would need to be home from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., on 12/4. There was no way I could do that, so I called and tried to arrange another day. I was told that wasn't possible, but that I didn't need to be there. They would just drop it off. I asked if they were planning to just leave it on my front porch rather than take it into the house, and was told that because I didn't buy a more expensive refrigerator, this wasn't considered a "major appliance" and I was not entitled to have it put into the house. So, when I got home after work, I found it in my driveway on the side of the house. I managed to wrangle it into the back yard, behind my fence, so no one could steal it. Bearing in mind that I'm a 65-year-old woman, this wasn't an easy task for me. I could have afforded more expensive doors and a more expensive refrigerator. I just don't feel the need to spend ridiculous amounts of money on such things. But I would have continued buying from Home Depot if I had been treated with some respect in either situation. This place must be run by Walmart-- they lock the garden center before closing and do not post them, so we do not waste our time and go there and be surprised such that we can go elsewhere that has the garden center open like Lowe's..
