I took the dryer apart on a fun filled Friday night guided by a DIY YouTube video and identified the parts I would need. A friend recommended giving these guys a call the following morning to see if they had the parts I needed, which they did! The girl on the phone was pleasant and helpful. Although the parts were almost half the cost on an online website with following day delivery, the phrase "Happy wife, happy life!" cancels the difference out immediately! When I arrived the girl behind the counter remembered me from our phone conversation and quickly gathered the repair parts for check out. The inside of the building was clean and organized. The older odds and end parts in their display cases gave me flashbacks! It made me feel old, but at the same time had me smiling and remember visiting mom and pop stores like this one with my father when I was a kid. I know some online sites can be cheaper, but in my humble opinion you have to support small brick and mortar businesses like this! My dryer is running like new and my wife is happy. Thanks for the assist guys!!

I've been shopping there since it opened and I am kind of average. I have bought many many things to fix the house, tools, paint, garden supplies and plants and a lawnmower, light fixtures, stuff to remove wallpaper, a dishwasher and I built a float for the Pennsbury Prom and bought everything from there; night and day, all hours running in asking for this and asking for that and would you please cut this to this size and now I need some kind of brackets and they are always friendly and give appropriate advise and suggestions. read more

My contractor picked up the tiles from the store and found that the store prepared WRONG tiles (of lower quality) and BROKEN tiles. When I contacted Floor and Decor headquarters, an online live representative blamed me for not double checking when I picked the tiles up. Now I have to drive back to the store to see if the store has enough store of the type I ordered....I'd recommend to stay away from this store.

Previously I was not able to order paint online and pay. However, this time I checked and the website indicated I could select the type of paint and color, pay online and I would be emailed when product was ready for pickup...which I did. I received an email shortly after placing the order. That email read "YOUR ORDER IS READY FOR PICKUP". Now, I know what that means but it appears Thornridge Ace does not. I drove to the store -- and by the way -- I chose this store because it is much closer to my home than other stores. In the past, I would order online from Ricciardi Brothers in Fairless Hills, because I can order & pay online and then just go in and my paint is ready TO BE PICKED UP. Anyway, I arrive at Thornridge and show the gentleman behind the checkout counter the email with my name and order number, which clearly indicates my order is ready to be picked up. He snarls that it is not ready -- and then goes to the paint center, spends three or four minutes trying to look up the order and then a young man says he has the order. To my surprise, instead of handing me the mixed quart of paint, the young man goes back to another area of the store, comes back with a quart of paint and then has to put the paint into the color distributor -- then put the can in the 'mixer'. At this point I have been in the store for over 12 minutes. I say to the older gentleman that I was surprised the paint wasn't ready and he snaps "well, what if you didn't come to get it" and walks away. WHAT? WHAT?? WHAT?????? The paint HAS BEEN PAID FOR -- YOU SOLD THE CAN OF PAINT. Who cares if I don't come in -- are you kidding me? So, after the young man mixes my paint and hands it to me I politely say to him all of the above. I was very nice about it, but said this situation was so badly handled that I could have driven back and forth to Ricciardi's three times for the amount of time it took me in Thornridge. He also said "well, if people don't come to pick up their paint, then we're stuck with it". I said - "BUT IT'S PAID FOR -- YOU MADE THE SALE!!!!!! Oh, and by the way, if people don't come and pick up their custom mixed cans of paint -- you can call Restore to give them a donation of paint and they will send someone over to pick up the paid for paint so they can offer it to their customers". I will never ever go back to Thornridge. They seem to have completely forgotten that they are a local retailer -- and in today's marketplace, the little retailers are struggling against all the big box stores (whose customer service is far superior!!!). Customers are your lifeline. It's a shame this is no longer important to you. And one more thing -- I will be posting this review on Google & Yelp -- where there are many other negative reviews about unfortunate and completely unacceptable interactions with the owner(s) of this store. Shame on you...

Basically, the cheapest sofa you can buy here is over $500 and if you want to splurge o well than you can definitely splurge as it is no problem at all to double that price for a little nicer of a sofa. All of that being said, I found a chair here I absolutely love. It is $300 for a small office chair but hopefully it holds up over time and good on the back : ) As always people SYOY!!!
