We bought 4 brand new appliances for a new home we are building. The appliances showed up but Home Depot didn't come and hook up our stove till about 2 weeks later. Once they hooked it up ..it wouldn't work. It still has the stupid plastic wrap on .. and they said we have to call the manufacturer because it's been past 2 days. Well they didn't come even hook it up for 2 weeks.. so how the hell can we test it out? What a joke! They said we are stuck with it.. a brand new.. broken stove literally never used! I swear they plan it on purpose to not hook it up till after the 2 days to screw people over! Me and my husband have had some some pretty rough experiences here this last week. To sum it up, some employees just really hate doing their job there and they have no shame letting you know that. It's like pulling teeth getting them to do it. It's so awkward and embarrassing for all parties. The people at the pick up counter are rude and not super helpful. Following is a Five Star review of a very recent purchase that was rejected by The Home Depot's website for not meeting their corporate guidelines. I'm not sure what that means other than it bugged me enough that I'll generously give it three stars here on Yelp: I recently purchased a Makita 3 Amp 5" corded orbital sander from the Logan, Utah store. I love the sander and l love this store. Nonetheless, I find it a bit curious this store has such an excellent selection of quality orbital sanders but I have to go to Lowe's to purchase the sanding discs for it. This has happened on more than one occasion now with this store and a variety of tool related purchases. They sell quality tools but not the accessories which allow the tools to be used for their intended purpose. In this case I couldn't even find what I needed on The Home Depot's website. Surely this is an oversight by management corporate or otherwise. But it's an issue I feel needs to be addressed. I'm a happy Home Depot customer who is often times befuddled by the items they don't stock or carry. Are they trying to drive me to Lowe's or Amazon or do they just not understand how the tools they sell are intended to be used!? read more

No one needs a review on Yelp for this store. In fact no one will ever read this except for the social marketing HD associate. I have been a loyal HD fan for years but after re-locating to Cache Valley I have been disappointed with The Logan HD. The service is horrible at this location. I navigate using the app when I shop the store. At this point the associates are pointless because I can find everything with the app, check reviews and get how-too's. I can also scan the item and check Amazon for a better price. Maybe HD should put fewer associates in Georgia and more in the stores. The store has so many wing stacks and promotional crap in the front aisle it's impossible to push a cart down the store. Always an awkward game of chicken with someone heading down the same side as you with a large cart. Never any cashiers. Trying to scan my 2x4-20 on the self-checkout is difficult, and no help from the cashier that generally doesn't acknowledge you. I usually am able to find help by using the app to call the store and then navigate the prompts to the department I need to talk too. Then I let them know I am standing in the store on aisle xx. Sue at the service desk is about the only 5 star associate working here. read more

I have never been so horrified. It's been four years since my incident at Home Depot. I went in and told the old dude in tools I was looking for something to cut through a wall to install a dog door. He told me dogs should t be treated as people and be allowed in the house. I told him that I can't have children and they are like my children. He told me I needed to find something else to cover my pain. What kind of emotional I'll mannered service is this. I sat in the aisle sobbing for 45 minutes while he continued to tell me that tears wouldn't bring me children and I didn't deserve them if I didn't have them. read more

Customer service has greatly improved recently. Also the number of staff on the floor has increased. There is no problem finding help or assistance when you need that guidance to find a specific item. It is a pleasure to deal with them on my trips for the last 6 months. I am sure I am on the bottom of a long list of complaints about Home Depot in Logan. Staff is so poorly trained and un-friendly. As you walk by an associate they seem to not want to make eye contact with you. I asked an associate if this was his department. ( i was looking for a kitchen sink ) his reply was " yes, this is my dept " when i asked a question about the durability of the sink i wanted to purchase he quite frankly said " i don't know". We opened the box in the store and the sink was cracked. Left immediately,,,,Went to Lowes where i was greeting with common business courtesy and helped with some good old fashioned customer service....Thank you Lowes!!! read more

My husband and I came here not planning on much, but we were blown away!! We worked with Alynn, an associate in the paint department for nearly an hour as she walked us through correct techniques, brushes, spackling, paint qualities, and colors. Not only did she give us her complete attention, but she made us feel important. We're complete rookies when it comes to painting and we left feeling confident and ready to paint our house! read more

On the 11th of November we ordered a new refrigerator from your Logan UT store and delivery was set for November 17th. When the refrigerator arrived it was seriously damaged and we had to refused delivery as we were advised to by customer service. They loaded back up the fridge and we were then told the replacement will not be delivered until November 24th. This is unacceptable I called customer service and spoke to a Melinda and she was extremely apologetic but said she could not get us a sooner date that the delivery company was not willing to correct the situation. At best we got a "wait list" This means that we will not have the fridge we purchased for Thanksgiving. We already pre arranged to have our old fridge picked up and donated and still no one care for our situation. We have been long time customers of Home Depot we are even credit card holders, and this complete lack of customer service was shocking. This was not our fault and the fact that no one was empathic to our situation and we were put on hold and hung up on repeatedly, this made a terrible situation even worse. For one why there is no quality control when the appliances are loaded so you are not trying to deliver thousands of dollars worth of damaged merchandise is beyond me. Second the total lack of customer service to correct such a situation is how you permanently lose customers. Thanks Home Depot for Ruining Thanksgiving for our family. read more
