Pathetic and unprofessional delivery. Delivery of washer set for 12-4pm window. I receive phone call at 11:25am asking where I am (work of course) as no one answered the door. No heads up phone call that they were coming early and no text from HD or the delivery personal either. My wife let them in and they did not install as the dryer was on top of the washer. They left without install. I arrived at 11:55am and disconnected and removed dryer with a picture to the delivery team at 12:02pm with the entire install area clean. They refused to return and install and I needed to reschedule. I cancelled my order with a refund. I'll purchase from Lowe's or Brandsmart. Sat. April 13,2024 I just bought a dishwasher at this store. Delivery was great. However, we did not use the installation kit needed. Was told to Return. My husband went to store customer service where the attendant was less than welcoming. She would acknowledge his presence and when he repeated that he needed help she actually yelled at him and was extremely rude. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and is not welcoming. I wonder who is the customer here! The manager came out and tried to help with the return. Unfortunately we could not return the item and was told to sell it on eBay. So much for customer service. HD employees and especially managers need a serious round of training. It was like a comedy show trying to pick up my online order. From the cashier that was on some serious meds to the deer in the headlights manager, the process of collecting my purchase was more convoluted than a mission to Mars. I saw the red flags when I placed the order at the customer service counter (coincidentally with the same drug addled Cashier), but nervously went ahead with my order. There was One left! Jorge was fast, efficient and even gave a discount for the seat belt dinger that wouldn't turn off, even when all belts were fastened. After years of been a customer of Home Depot and thousand and thousand of dollars spent there I contacted them in regards to an issue with a Hampton Bay fan which covered a life time motor warranty I was informed they can't find the model number that it looks like it is not a HB Fan. Well!!!! It is for a fact a HB fan. I provided them with pictures of the fan and the model number sticker on the top of the fan and they had the audacity to tell me basically I was lying. Please warrant the warranty. One more thing!!!! It is not a Hunter Fan.... it is a Hampton Bay 100%. I'll be waiting for a response from someone now. The worst store in the area. Customer service is nonexistent. After buying a bathroom vanity a couple of weeks ago, my mother was looking to buy matching stone to serve as a backsplash and it was an ordeal to get assistance to match the color to the sink. Worst Home Depot, well...I think they're all the same. I've spent tens of thousands at this location and the Kendall location. Customer service is complete garbage. Last time I was there there were two coworkers arguing that Home Depot is putting everyone in part time and they took their benefits. Now I know why the customer service sucks and the attention the employees put into their job is zero. I was just on hold 47 Min for a huge order I was placing, but I'm not physically at the location. Someone picked the phone up and hung it up after going through the whole process. I decided to try my hand at a couple DIY projects as my daughter approached one and I wanted to get creative for her first birthday. I can honestly say that without the assistance I received from the gentlemen in the lumbar department I never would have been able to do it. I made a tiered cake pop stand and a cupcake tower both of which came out awesome! For the cake pop stand I needed 16 12" post and 2 6'' post and they were able and willing to do this for me with a smile on their face. I was beyond pleased with their service and friendliness. The paint department was not as helpful but I was able to figure that part out on my own. read more

Very poor service here, fellows! I visited this particular location some time ago, due to at my tiny backyard the wooden fence was in shambles and about to fall...One Saturday afternoon a stray dog came into the backyard and almost bite my daughter! Due to my homeowners association was taking forever to repair the fence as they should (but they are fast to collect your association fee) stopped by this location in order to gather some information about the fences, ready to buy it and install it myself. After a loooooooong search for a store employee finally found one and in a rude manner said 'Home Depot does not sell that'(????) I asked him to follow me and showed him where the wooden fences were exhibited...Then this guy said to me: 'Listen I just came from Cuba less than 1 month ago, am here as a part timer and does not know anything about', the guy turned around and left! I kept looking for somebody else and another associate from gardening area said the 'expert' on fences was taking lunch (at 6:30 pm????) and would not come back in another hour or so...That is what you call customer service! When I was approaching the exit this middle aged Hispanic guy whom was operating a fork lift asked me if needed any help...Incredibly enough, he explained me everything I needed to know about wooden fences: prices, sizes, installation, etc. and also confirmed me he felt sorry for watching me walking through the store searching in vain for any help... Bottom line I contacted their corporate office (never got a reply), and kindly asked them to transfer or demote the current store manager and give the position to the fork lift operator whom showed a really genuine desire to provide (and he did it) an outstanding customer service...Thanks to him this review has 2 stars and not one... Also it depends about the location: there is another Home Depot close to my home (Kendall Drive and 157 Ave) and employees there have been not only knowledgeable but very resourceful and polite... This review is about the overcrowding of aisles with too much merchandise. There is so much merchandise in the middle of the aisles that there isn't enough room for a shopping cart and a flat bed cart to be next to each other in the same aisle causing people to go to the next aisle or bottle neck at one point. Aisle 1 is loaded with plants, there isn't enough room for a cart and another person. So if I'm going down the aisle with a shopping cart another person shopping or browsing the same aisle has to move aside so that I can pass, that's ridiculous. Same goes with the aisle near the cashier's, a lady started to tell at me because I couldn't get out of her way fast enough! It is unpleasant to shop here because people are annoyed and irritated to have to move around each other, especially when having to move around heavy items and carts. Do your customers a favor and give us larger aisle spaces!!! Are u wondering why the customers are constantly in a bad mood?well I tell ya this is one of the reasons why and home Depot you can do something about it! read more

After waiting a ridiculous amount of time for someone to show up to the lumber cutting area, we see a disgruntled employee named Edu and signal to him. We explain that we had been waiting for someone to help us and his response was (in Spanish), that the store had cut his hours! What the?? As if that weren't enough, at check out only one self check out kiosk is open, while the line continues to grow. A guy who was 3 spots behind us tells an employee to open more lanes and she just removes the retractable strap for him to help himself, ignoring those who were ahead of him in line. In summary, a complete disaster!!! Shame on you Home Depot!! read more

Their assistance in resolving issues I had with a delivery was exceptional. Nina and David went the extra mile to help me as did Clara. Guillermo, the manager, was also instrumental in me writing this positive review. One of my husband's and son's favorite stores. We come here regularly, sometimes for small things we need for the home and some other times for bigger jobs. Employees are nice but you don't always find at one able to help you find what you are looking for. Competitive prices and the 10% military discount is a big plus for us. We've definitely found nice deals on different items like patio furniture, bathroom vanities and barbq grills. Parking is sometimes an issue here because there are other businesses in the same shopping center. read more

I ordered a simple mailbox on their website on 7/24 with arrival of 7/30 to store. Shipping tracking details provided by their App confirmed fedex delivered the item to the West Bird store on 7/30. A couple days pass by and absolutely no contact from them so we call and they say nope the item isn't there yet. A couple more days pass and we decide to go to the store to show them the tracking for the item said "Delivered to store on 7/30" . They stumble with their words and say the item is in a container in the back that hasn't been opened yet and they will open it tomorrow and call us to pick it up. It is now 8/13 and It's been absolutely crickets from Home Depot so we show up at the store once again. After a 20 min wait they say the somehow LOST the Item! WTactualF! Where they going to call me to let me know the item got lost after 2+ weeks of waiting after arrival? HELL to the NO! Where did the Home Depot get their customer service training? Where is the quality control on their online orders? This may be a simple mailbox but it's the customer experience that matters and the HOME DEPOT at West Bird in Miami has no respect for their customers as you can see. This place feels like a hang out for employees. They are all gossiping amongst themselves and avoid customers very unlike home depo. Really hate this location but stopped due to being in the area to get some paint. Employee named Steven from the paint area ignored me for 15 minutes while I stood there waiting for a paint match. Not a single other person there but he seemed like he was working on an order for someone else. No greeting or even a look. Left me there for 15 minutes. Finally another employee names Pablo took care of me. Then I go to the register to pay and two female employees having a open conversation about having kids. HORRIBLE customer service. I placed an online order for some batteries. 1 hour later, the order was canceled. I called to see why and was placed on hold for 35 MINUTES. When someone FINALLY got back on the phone, they asked why I was calling!!! They had forgotten I was placed on hold!!!! A couple more minutes and I'm told the batteries are out of stock (Homedepot.com said this store had over 50 in stock). I ask if there are absolutely any in another brand and I'm told no. So, I drive over to the Home Depot and guess what I find after less than 5 MINUTES in the store? The batteries I needed!!! I don't even work there and found them minutes after walking to the store, not even knowing where to really look. Customer service is absolutely ridiculous. This location deserves 5 stars for the exceptional customer service that I received from not only 1 individual, but 3. Back in Dec 2018, I had ordered a dishwasher online. It had issues and needed to be sent back. I had a horrible time with the manufacturer. However, the store manager Iggy, appliance manager Yoniel and customer service specialist Miguel saved me. They could not have been more wonderful with excellent service and assisted me with the return. This level of customer service will ensure that I continue to shop at this location and highly recommend to all. They took a horrible situation for me and was able to make it right. read more

TERRIBLE, SIMPLE TERRIBLE!!!! This has to be one of the worst experiences that I have encountered. I have seen Home Depot as my 'go to' place for paint, lumber, tools, equipment rental, anything related to home improvement. Today, 3/27/19 at 6:18pm, we have the worst experience ever at Home Depot located at 11305 SW 40th Street Miami Florida 33165 with a customer service representative named Estefania. We went to Home Depot to return a paint (custom made) that we were not satisfied with. Estefania said that it was not refundable even though we explained that the person who made the paint did it wrong (instead of Satin it was made as Seashell- not sure if I spelled it right or wrong), she was very rude and with attitude she said we couldn't return it. We explained several times the reason why we bought the paint (the person who made it didn't know that paint exists in Satin as we requested, the following week we went and another person was able to do it exactly as we wanted therefore the initial paint was the one we wanted to return and she saw that we didn't use it) Not only she treated us badly and with actitud but she also turned her eyes up, when we mentioned that she shouldn't treat customers like that because she was representing Home Depot, she replied back saying that she was not Home Depot. My husband even tried to be nicer saying that maybe she was tired and she refused that, that maybe she was acting like that because she was worry about school and she answered that she doesn't go to school; for every single comment we made, she had an objection. This girl needs a lot of customer service training, she needs to learn how to treat not only customers, but people. We finally were able to return the paint after another rep came, his name is David, who in less than a minute solved the problem. He spoke to the manager and asked if that type of paint can be returned and he answered "yes" so we were able to return the paint we were not satisfied with. Walked in to get a house number, could not find it, so I went to customer service. Was told that they had 13 in stock, went back to the aisle to look for an employee, told him that in the computer it said they had 13. His answers was "we have them in the upper shelves, but I do not have a ladder". Did not even make an attempt to look for a ladder. Went back to customer service and told the lady his answer was, got a blank stare and she told me that at the Kendall location they had 20. I'm writing this comment because this is the second time that this has happens to me at this location, with lazy employees that have no sense of what service is all about. Will not give this store a third try. I will return the other numbers that I purchased before at another location. Home Depot will be the biggest looser at the end of the day. read more

They also have plants and everything else you may need for your garden. I usually go there to get my A/C filters cause they have a large selection to choose from like everything else they have.
