Ordered lumber in August to replace deck planks. Delivery went well, but the quality of the lumber was disappointing: most planks had many knots, splits, and rough wavy edges. I rated the boards as a "3" and left a comment. As I've worked my way through the pile to sand and paint, the quality of the wood diminished. After spending too much time searching for my review at the Home Depot web site, I was unable to find and edit my review. I doubt I will return to Home Depot for lumber. read more

I ordered a product online for home delivery. Fedex instead delivered a box of shoes to me from another vendor. As proof of delivery, the Fedex driver uploaded a photo of my box delivered to who knows where. Customer service at Home Depot was terrible, and told me it is my job to file a claim with Fedex to get a replacement for the order that Home Depot will not refund. Any other business would have sent me a replacement, no questions. I will take all of my business to Keim Lumber in Millersburg. They offer free delivery within 150 miles. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. Home depot has been the absolute worst disaster to work with in refacing my cabinets. I started my project in October 2020 and it is now June 2021 and it's still not done. The coordination and communication is terrible. The work and produce itself is terrible. Do NOT ever get your cabinets refaced through Home Depot, I don't wish this on anyone. I can't even explain what I have been through and the fact that it is still not done and now they will not even get back to me/ contact me is ridiculous. read more

Rude staff, No help at all. Gave me dirty looks for what ever why. I asked for help loading 10 bags of pellets and ended up doing it my self with a bad back and bad lung. As i gasped for air to breath no one in sight until i was done. Fuck You Home Depot. Lowe's is still the best. read more

After listening to a cashier say "fuck you" to a manager and then reporting it although it did take me an hour to get through to their number because nobody wanted to answer the phone, I will never go back to the store I am looking to find the corporate office for this franchise and I will be reporting this cashier named Emma. Like most people, we tend to vacillate between Lowe's and Home Depot... you figure there's no difference right? Unless there's a specific brand that one carries over the other... But wait! THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!!!! The 2 x 4's we got at Lowe's are super light... Almost like balsa wood... and 70% of them are totally F'd up. In contrast Home Depot to buy fours, going for the same price of $2.98, are solid as a rock and in great condition... I found 90% of the boards to be flawless. I would give this location five stars but I find that most people that work here have no idea what they're selling or how to use their products... Back in California at my local Home Depot was staffed with rocket scientists... And engineers... They could tell you had a build a rocket ship out of screws and washers. read more

The woman who works the paint department (will definitely get her name next time) is a paint guru! She handled a consistent line, was pleasant and knowledgeable, and got everyone in and out with ease. She even took the time to explain a purchasing, mixing and painting process to the guy behind me - and didn't have anything to sell him. It's amazing how she handles the paint department and her customers! It's a little out of the way, but this my new go-to paint store! read more

Very polite helpful employees. If they don't know the answer to your question they will try to find someone who does. In store pickup is great and quick. I have yet to walk in and not walk out with what I was looking for. Although I do suggest looking at their website first to see if what you're looking for is in stock. read more

My experience with the painting dept. with Catherine has always been excellent. She is so helpful in my painting inquiries, however when I went in yesterday it was not her shift. Tried to get help from the male employee who was very rude and disappointing. I felt I was not worth his time and was practically waved away when trying to ask advice. Next time I will make sure Catherine is available before visiting the store, other wise Lowes here I come! read more

They typically are helpful but I went in today and they were almost out of all their echo trimmers. So I looked around for a bit and couldn't find anyone so I went to a cashier and had them call someone. They checked and it showed they had 5 in stock of one and several of each of the others. But said they couldn't find the pallet of them seriously? They did end up finding a few of the cheaper ones but didn't even attempt to look for the pallet so I guess you guys lose a sale I was fully prepared to buy one. Where did customer service go? I felt like I was burdening them by asking for help it's sad honestly. read more

At age 65 I ventured onto the web for the purchase of a new kitchen faucet. Found it. They had plenty. Paid for it and was told I would receive a text shortly to come and pick it up. At 4 hours I called. They were able to find my order and would send someone out into the vast expanse of the store to carry it from the shelf to the customer service desk. Sounded doable. Got a call. They didn't have it in stock. Something to do with a bad inventory count. Three faucets are expected on Thursday. They said they'd call me on Thursday to come pick it up. Then got a text indicating part of my order had been cancelled. Called the store. They explained it was necessary to cancel my order in order to fill my order on Thursday. Strange logic! Got an email later indicating my order was cancelled and my payment was to be reversed in 3-5 business days. This was becoming more convenient as each hour passed. Called nationwide customer service. After 17 minutes and 58 seconds on hold, during which I heard elevator music and numerous messages regarding lengthy hold times, I was disconnected and heard a message that this was no longer a working number. I wish I felt more confident about what may or may not happen on Thursday. This feels curiously like I'm living through a Monty Python skit. Wish me luck! read more
