Walk through the whole store was there probably about a half an hour, not one person asked me did I need any help. The customer service in the store was great. But beyond that they are useless and I'm beyond frustrated. I ordered a couch in stores on 9/4 and called back on 9/6 to cancel the order upon finding out it was too big. I then followed up in person to cancel this order on 9/9. I called back on 9/12 and 9/16 to inquire about a refund to my account and both times I was told the refund was never issued and they'd do it right away! Then I got an automated text on 9/20 saying that the couch was going to show up on Tuesday (9/23) and so I called that day to say "I do not want the couch, please refund me" and they said okay again.... and now it just showed up at my house!! and I tried to call the store and no one answered! This place just can't get anything done right. The ordering system is so jacked up. Their delivery team just makes up when they can or cannot delivery items. Somehow my phone number kept changing in the delivery so nobody called and, they sent me an email saying they were going to delivery an item, 3 hours prior to showing up so guess what, nobody was available and since my number was wrong, they couldn't call to confirm anything. Do not waste your time buying anything from here because their estimated times of delivery and their 3rd party delivery team are the WORST! Find a store that sells american only. Yes, you will pay more, but you do not have to deal with the overseas nightmare. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! This experience has been awful - THEE WORST! I paid for white glove service which was not the case. Bed was set up incorrectly which led to damage to brand new carpet. A few days after receiving the bed, went back to the store & rep said it needed to be broken in however the issue was a missing slat and post. The bed issue was never corrected after 5 different appointments and technicians came out. How is this white glove service?? This caused brand new carpet to be damaged, too. Customer service was no assistance at all. When requesting an accommodation, none was given. Our initial order was delayed so we added an additional purchase which we were told couldn't be combined therefore a new order was created. However, only ONE bill was issued each month for the payment. A year later, we are finding out that this was an error from the Accounting Dept. Now, the sufficient monthly payments have not been applied to suffice a 12-month payoff. This has caused us to have interest assessed and continually accruing. After talking to the store reps, managers and customer service, the buck kept getting passed so a BBB complaint had to be made. After several back-and-forth discussions with the BBB, a check was offered for the initial interest charge but that was only one part of the concern. Then, it was said that nothing could be done because the finance terms to correct this (which is their error) had expired. WTH!!! If I'm making the required payments, how am I to know that the Accounting Department is not applying them as such?? Now, it's my job to pay, follow up and correct the financing?!! This is beyond mind boggling! Ashley/Morris Furniture is not an integral company that takes accountability for their own errors!!! If purchasing from here just know you're doing so at your own risk!!!! You've been warned! read more

The overall experience was very positive! Ordering was easy, everything was completed and set up at the store. The person helping even gave partial credit to another associate when I mentioned I had already spoken to someone at the Easton location. He was very knowledgable as well. Premium delivery ws excellent! Easy to schedule and easy to know when they were arriving due to many updates. Drivers were all professional - nice, friendly and respectful of my house. There was a cabinet/wardrobe piece I really liked, and over the course of a few weeks I stopped at several of the Ashley stores when I was out and about to look at it and mull it over. Pros: 1) at each of the stores, owned by Morris Furniture, the salespeople were friendly, helpful, professional, and attentive but "non-pushy"; 2) the delivery drivers who carried this heavy piece up my steep and narrow staircase were exceptional: courteous, and careful not to ding the walls or the item; 3) the piece looks great! (Ashely has a lot of nice furniture). Cons: Three of the four times I stopped at an Ashely store, the price was different. Each time, I was told "this is the lowest price it's going to get" or "this sale ends today" etc, but then, of course, a week later there was a different "sale" and the price was lower. I know the salespeople don't set the pricing, but that "game" leaves a bad taste in the mouth where one is never sure if they overpaid. I wanted the item, so I paid the asking price, but in some respects it felt like buying a used car. Also, on the three bottom drawers, one was rubbing against the drawer below it because the screws attaching the rails were not tightened, and two screws were missing! An easy fix, but for this much money, I would expect it to be assembled correctly. read more

When ordering our furniture it was very easy and the sales associate was very helpful! We knew that pieces take awhile to get in stock so we ordered early. Once our couch was delivered we noticed that there was dirty marks all over it. The couch is light in color so they were very noticeable. After asking for this piece to be replaced I got several calls for having it cleaned. After a month the piece came in and it was replaced. The guys who delivered it the second time did a much better job. I wish that Ashley would have communicated better with the policy of replacement. read more

Terrible customer service. After being told I would receive my couch in three weeks and it taking closer to 6 weeks, my couch was delivered extremely dirt. I was told a replacement would take 12 weeks as it was on back order so I declined. According to the "store manager" Fatima, I still needed to pay for the delivery charge because even though they delivered a defective couch, it was still delivered. The service there is poor and there is definitely an opportunity for additional training, especially for Fatima if this is a store manager representing the company. read more

Recently I was looking to purchase a new sofa for my living room. I had originally purchased a sofa from another furniture store online but I had to return it because it was too uncomfortable. That's when I stopped into Ashley's furniture. I'm so glad that I did! They had a lot of quality pieces at a decent price! The staff was very helpful great! An incredibly poor customer service experience. Our sales associate ordered the wrong items. The portion of the order that was accurate arrived damaged. The agents we spoke with showed and continue to show no empathy. It's a farce to call them customer service representatives. It's been 45 days since we've made the purchase and they have still not replaced the damaged items or delivered incorrect items. We've contacted the GM ("Steven"), sales associate, multiple "customer service" reps and no one seems to care. If you're considering Ashley home furniture there are better and more reputable company's out there who actually value their customers. If you're reading this do yourself a favor and take your hard earned money elsewhere. They simply do not care and will take an "ignore it until goes away" approach to any customer service you may need after purchase. read more

I have been stalking a bed I wanted for at least 2 years. I'm a parent and like most parents, I don't put my own needs first. I "need" a new bed. My bed & bedroom set of 20 years (yes, 20) has had it! Ms Jones was the best! She understood my needs & helped me get the bed & mattress I've been wanting for years. She was professional, nice, not pushy, not like a "sales person" but like a person wanting to help someone else. And I appreciate that so much. I appreciate her understanding that even thought I needed new furniture, that I'm not rich! I can't want to receive my bed and go back to see her again for the rest of my furniture needs! I really hate writing negative reviews and usually can find something positive but my experience this week with Ashley Homestore has been -5 stars. Since that rating isn't an option I'll give them 1 star based solely on their Guest Services staff for their pleasant attitudes each time I've had to call in an effort to resolve an issue they've failed to rectify, and in fact expect me to go out of my way to make the situation better. I am sharing this experience because people need to know the kind of company they are choosing to do business with. Let me start by saying I am not currently a customer of Ashley Homestore, but I am a victim of negligence on their part. Monday my neighbor was having a new couch delivered and, according to multiple witnesses (because I was not home) one of the delivery guys decided it would be a good idea to carry my neighbor's old couch out my himself. This resulted in his dropped that couch on my car and causing almost $1900 worth of damages. I would have never know what happened if my neighbor had not written me a note about the incident because the delivery guys just drove away. They knew my car was damaged because the neighborhood kids began to take out their phones to record a guy dropping a couch on a car and the delivery guy yelled at them to put their phones away. I called Ashley Homestore the next day and had hope they would handle the situation in a timely manner. I was told I would have someone call me back within 48hrs. Fast forward 2 days later and no call, so I called them. I was then told I needed 4 estimates, at least, before they would pay for damages. The next day I called back to speak to a supervisor or manager (because no one was previously available) and was told again one was not available but someone from the accounting department would call me that same evening. No call. I called again on Saturday morning and was told an email had been written to the delivery department by a supervisor. Again I asked to speak to a supervisor or someone from accounting as previously promised but conveniently no one was available...again. I was however told they would call the delivery supervisor and he would then call me back. No call. As I mentioned, I am not a customer of Ashley Homestore and after this experience, brought on by something completely due to their employees negligent actions, their inability to allow me to speak to a supervisor/manager, and their inability to direct me to a claim number or insurance contact, I will NEVER be a customer of Ashley Homestore and nor will any of my friends or family. Unfortunately my situation is not unique. In fact, my husband had a similarly frustrating experience several years ago with Ashley Furniture in Canada (where he is from) when they put a huge hole in the wall of his house while delivering furniture. He received the same run around, no supervisors being available, and months of calling and trying to get his wall fixed before they would take care of the situation. It's a shame that integrity and care for the customer aren't pillars in Ashley's business practices. read more

My husband and I ordered a new bedroom set back in October of 2021. Finally got the delivery scheduled for the last piece to actually put the bed together some time at the end of April/early May 2022. When the delivery people got here and started to put the bed together, they stated that the bed rails that we had delivered in January were not the correct bed rails and therefore couldn't finish putting together the bed (they had only put together the headboard at that time). They told me I would have to call Ashley customer service and there wasn't anything they could do so they left. Mind you, we waited from October to May to finally have a bed, and I was so disappointed that I'd probably have to wait for another 3 months for the correct rails. I called customer service and the lady I spoke to said the rails weren't in stock but she would dig a little deeper. She then told me that the rails were in stock at the Fairborn, Oh distribution center. I asked if I were to drive and get the correct rails and put the bed together myself if I could be compensated by having money taken off of my credit card bill. She said yes but that I would have to wait to call back until May 18th because of something with the credit statement. I ended up loading up the old rails by myself after driving to pick up my husband's SUV, driving 1.5 hours away, waited about 45 minutes to get the new rails while they exchanged the old rails and charged me even more for the rails I was actually supposed to have, drove 1.5 hours back, and unloaded the rails and carried them upstairs by myself so I could start putting together the bed myself so I could have a bed to sleep in that night. It took about 3 hours to put the bed together, something I'm sure Ashely's team could've done in 30 minutes, and the whole situation wasted my entire Saturday. I've constantly called Ashley customer care to get this rectified and it still has not been. Right now I have an Ashley "case" open, but for some reason they cannot locate the $7,000 bedroom set order we placed in October, so now they're telling me I have to call the store directly so they can go into the case and put the order into the case. Isn't this something Ashley should have to look up? It's astounding that this can't be rectified on Ashley's side, and that I'm having to make phone calls to get this correct for myself. I'm also disappointed that every time I call the main Ashley customer service line, I get put on hold then hung up on, or they can't find my information altogether. I've only spoken to two semi-helpful people, and the one was an escalations manager that told me I should absolutely have money taken off my bill and said he would contact the store and either he or someone else would call me back that day and never did. That was probably early June. I just called about a week or two ago and spoke to a person that I needed to call the store so they could put the order number in the case and confirmed there was actually a case open. I have tried to call the store directly and press option 2 like he said, but I never get a person on the line. I've left two messages and have not received a call back. It's ridiculous that it's so hard to even get a person on the phone, let alone have them actually solve the issue. I would really like someone to get in contact with me over this. I guess we should've looked at reviews before we ever entered the store. Our experience has been horrible. We found a bed we liked, it was delivered & set up damaged. The delivery guy said he'd notified the manager and we'd get a call later that day to schedule a time for pickup of the damaged bed/delivery of replacement. No call was received, so I called them. They said they had no record of the situation. I proceeded to describe it as I was questioned as to why we accepted the delivery. Eventually, although she did everything short of calling me a liar, she scheduled a pick up of the bed and told us to go to the store to choose a different bed. A LONG story short, we spent over a month back and forth with scheduled deliveries and no delivery arriving, being charged for items never delivered, treated like crap, etc. Buyer beware! read more
