They no longer care about quality. The pressure treated lumber they sale is not even thoroughly dried out. I purchased some to rebuild my dock, which lasted 10-15 years, but the CRAP you get now will be replaced in 2-3 years. What they call number 1 number is actually #3. To many knots in it and not dried. I guess it's all about profit. BUYER BE WARE. Lowes isn't any better. It's worth a little more fir Marine grade by far. I just got 30 2x8x12 and cost about $50 more. read more

Great selection of everything you need. Spring is definitely coming with all the plants and starters out! Ton's of seeds to plant as well. Mowers an more mowers! Ready to cut your grass! So many pretty flowers an plants ready to take home. A some priced just right but some a little higher priced. The service was actually good today! Well...it's a Home Depot! We all have our thoughts and experiences with one, so what can I possibly add? Well, this Home Depot is definitely out of the way for us and there are 3 or 4 other stores much closer to us for sure...but we chose to go to this one. The reason why was because everything we needed was in stock. That may seem crazy, but if you need stuff "now" you don't want to wait until it's delivered or in stock...this place was literally one-stop shopping. Plus, since the town of Palatka is somewhat small, they weren't crazy busy. The staff was friendly and I didn't have to look far to find someone for help. Help wasn't needed on this day, but it was still pretty impressive compared to the norm at other stores. The store was very clean and tidy as well. Plus, we walked right up to the cashier without a wait! The drive over was worth it... Note: If you don't know, you can look for items online and can see what is in stock at a store and how many they have. You don't even need to call! Not only that, but it will tell you exactly where to find it in the store by isle and bin...easy peasy! read more

If I could give Home Depot a negitive 3 stars I would. I bought a washing machine that was delievered a week late with no one bothing to call me to say they had an issue. Then the machine didnt work properly, called same day to have picked up. Was another week for them to have picked up washing machine. Then had to call to get a refund from Home Depot. It has now been 3 1/2 weeks and several phone calls later and all I am told is check has been mailed. This has going on since July 27th. I was last hung up on after by an employyee how told me I would have to wait until billing department gets back to us. Appently a ticket was created and that fixes everything. That all that could be done is an email sent. If I owed Home Depot Credit Card money and said check was in the mail would they so oh okay we will wait. No they would not....... read more

On Sunday I ordered lumber to replace rotten boards on my dock. The internet said it would be delivered on Tuesday. I tore the boards up on Monday expecting delivery the next day. After wasting a whole day waiting for the delivery I get a call at 6:30 pm that they are not coming and asked to deliver it on Thursday. Not happy but I said yes. Today they called and wanted to deliver it on Saturday. That is not acceptable and the manager Eric was notified of that. I have spent over $20,000 in the past 15 months in that HD (Palatka Florida) alone and this is how old Eric the manager treats a customer. I'll never shop at Home Depot again. The inventory could be stocked a little better, but overall the employees are always very friendly and helpful.

Walked the entire right side of the store trying to find an employee to help me in the garden center. They don't exist. Literally not a single employee in the garden center, paint, lawn and garden areas. Online page for the item I want says it's in the garden center but the bays aren't marked. Found similar items but not what I needed and no one to help. read more
