The returns process was very easy for some extras that I purchased a few weeks ago, and sometimes you got a judge a store by how friendly they are when you're returning something. And this one totally is excellent. I also shop here, and it's clean while organized, and people are willing to help you find what you need. They have lots to choose from, and I feel like Home Depot is one of the best value places to buy things. I want to give a big shout out to Monica, who literally made my day so much brighter. BEWARE! Do not shop here. They provide terrible customer service to customers who order, especially when ordering online and not receiving your product until a week later. Then when you contact support, they will not attempt to help or resolve your problem. I ordered for curbside pickup and I was told I had to go into the store to get my product because they needed to check my identification, however, when I went into the store, they did not even ask for my identification. Terrible customer service!!!! placed an online order for my husband as a father's day gift to be delivered to store in a few days to pick up after receiving an email confirming my order was ready for pick up one week later upon arrival at customer service desk I was told my order had been cancelled without notification or nothing sent other than email stating it was ready to be picked up. I called the Home Depot number 1-800-466-3337 only to be given the run around so then I called Rockwall, Texas location where initial order was supposed to be picked up and spoke with Judy which then I was told by her my credit card had been declined ( lied!!) when I actually had just confirmed with credit card company used the approval transaction which confirmed she was lying to me the whole time now I have to wait for my credit card to get credited back if not I will have to dispute a charge. Do not order on-line from Home Depot. Ordered a ring door bell ($270) on 30 June 2021, because they were out of stock in the store. It was to arrive on 6 July. It did not. Still not here on 8 July. Home Depot says that's between me and UPS. I said I did not buy it from UPS, so the way se resolved it, she got UPS on the phone with me and her. UPS said I would have to file a claim. I would have to have an account with UPS to do that. So I set up an account and filed a claim. UPS said they would investigate and within 5 days (if they found my claim valid) would refund the shipper in California. (I assume that is Ring Doorbell) I called Home Depot back and they said, I should get a refund in 5 days. I don't like the politics of Amazon, so I try to buy elsewhere. But you have to admit, If I had ordered it from Amazon (at the same price) The doorbell would be installed already. read more

Placed on hold for over 20 minutes when trying to order appliances for my older parents. Told I could not do that even tho I have a pro account and do this at the Paris store all the time for work. Finally after being hung up on twice the manager gets on the phone and is so rude. She does say that pro accounts can do this then proceeds to put me on hold again. It all comes from the management and this store has poor management. Until that is changed nobody will get good service. It's unfortunate this is happening. HD should do something about it. Other stores I use like the Paris, TX store are so helpful and that is due to good management and hiring people who care. read more

The customer service at this location was far beyond most Home Depot locations. I ordered an Echo pole saw that is difficult to find in Home Depot stores, and only 2 Home Depot locations in the DFW metroplex had it in stock. The first store I ordered it from canceled my order saying they no longer have it in stock. So I drove 1.5 hours roundtrip to go to Rockwall, the only store that had it. Rockwall's store went above and beyond to help me get my equipment. It wasn't on the shelf where it should have been, so they searched on top racks and pallets for half an hour. And when they realized their inventory must be off (i.e., someone likely stole the item), Lloyd spent half an hour helping us get it shipped to us. They could have just told us "sorry, we don't have it" and sent us on our way. But they did the opposite, and didn't stop until everything was made right. I just spent 40 minutes in the flooring department looking at carpet. When I got there, a salesperson was helping someone else so I found the carpet I wanted by myself. We were shopping for carpet, made sure to let salesman know we have a dog, needed something she won't get paws caught in. Lady came to measure for 3 rooms, we asked her to measure 1 additional room so we could purchase more carpet-she said no‍ Carpet installers (who were wonderful to work with & did a quick and good job) had wrong carpet. Finally installed. Horrible carpet quality, dogs paws get caught often, pulling out the carpet loop. Hardly any traffic on carpet but is already really worn looking. Very unhappy. This didn't effect rating but it sure would be nice if after a large purchase & install, the folks there would call, ask how it went, check in. My wife & I had bought 4 outdoor patio chairs and had assembled two of them but had trouble finishing the last couple bolts on the remaining chairs. I had taken them back several times to have them completed. i had determined that this was going to be the final attempt. We had our cabinets refaced by Home Depot in early August 2022. The sales rep failed to tell us that the replacement drawers would be more than 1/2 inch shallower due to them installing under-drawer glides instead of side mount glides like we previously had. Our first knowledge of this difference was the day after the installer finished the job. The new drawers are too shallow now to hold many of our kitchen utensils. After more than 2 months of us calling Home Depot for a response from our sales rep, we finally got a reply from a text message. They are willing to redo all 8 drawers...at our cost. Forget the promise of 100% satisfaction being guaranteed. They guarantee satisfaction only if you are willing to pay more than the thousands already spent. We have given Home Depot more than enough opportunities to make things right as recommended by legal counsel, but they have no interest now that they have gotten their money. Now it is on to the next level of escalation, which will cost more than replacement of glides on 8 drawers thanks to Home Depot's unwillingness to put their customers ahead of their bank account. This Home Depot is terrible. We just needed to replace our dishwasher that had broken so we went here to buy one. We also paid for installation and haul-away. So they show up with the wrong one and just leave it at our house. When my husband called the store he kept being put on hold and passed from person to person and finally told someone would call him back. By the time I was leaving work no one had called him back so I went to the store to see what was going on. The man that worked in appliances was incredibly disrespectful to me. The mistake turned out to be his because he had the wrong sign above the dishwasher we chose, so when he scanned it for the order, he was scanning for a different machine. He didn't apologize and really seemed put off by me coming to the store. He told me he was going on break so I'd just have to wait an hour if I want to be helped. I asked if there was someone else I could work with while he was on break and his answer was a flat out "no". U So I texted my husband to come up to the store and suddenly this guy changed his tune and decided to be helpful. He scheduled a delivery of the new one and sent us to customer service. So a week or so later we were supposed to be getting a new one installed, our old one hauled away, and the wrong one picked up. We get a call a day before the delivery that says it is now out of stock and will be three more weeks. Then the day before the next delivery we get a call saying it's being pushed back another few days. So over a month after we bought this thing, our correct one was finally delivered. BUT they refused to install it (which we paid for), they refused to haul away our old one (which we paid for), and they refused to pick up the wrong one that was originally delivered to us. They said that if Home Depot didn't put it on the delivery order, they can't do it. He was actually pretty nice and said that this Rockwall Home Depot has been really screwing orders up lately. So now my husband is installing it himself while we have two sitting in our garage taking up one of our cars spots, we are out the cost of the installation and haul-away, and we can't reach anyone helpful at the store on the phone. I hate this location. I don't know any I keep going back. Conveniently located I guess. That's the only reason. Wylie location so much better. More informed people and they don't look for chances to take advantage of you. You're not a customer here. You exist so they can make a profit. Today I rented a roll from them. 4 hours or 24 hours. I only needed about four. 80 bucks plus insurance and taxes. Total of $99. I didn't get to leave with the equipment for 15 minutes after they started the clock because the first one was broken. On the way back, I stopped to top off the gas. Less than half a gallon. Not required but no biggie. Except added 10-15 minutes to my drive back there. I spend another 5-10 minutes in their parking lot unshackling from my trailer hitch and pushing it back to its spot. It's big, heavy, and hard to maneuver. I go in to turn in my paperwork. Some old guy working the Tool Rental says, "You're late." I said only a few minutes. He says 42 minutes. We have to charge you for that. 26 more dollars! I couldn't believe it. It was a log splitter. Not a hot commodity. No one was waiting on it. I wasn't an hour late. In reality, I was maybe 10 minutes late considering they started the clock well before they got me a working machine and connected to my hitch plus the time I spent putting it back up with no help. I asked them not to charge me more. They looked at me sternly and said I was late. Bottom line, that's $26 that I was going to use to buy some things in their store. Close to $200 in goods. I was so dumbfounded at their lack of common sense and customer service. I spent that $200 at Lowes down the street. I'll buy my new Lawn tractor at Lowe's too. Penny wise and pound foolish. Trying to make a purchase and the team member helping me asked her lead for assistance. The lead turned to us (the customer) and told us we'd have to wait that she was busy. Wow... 1- we didn't ask for your help- your team member did; 2- train your team so they don't have to ask; 3- do you always address customers in that tone? 4- clean up your area so people know who's in line and where. This is my one stop shop for stuff needed at the house. Wood, Paint, Nails, Flowers... they pretty much have it all. I will always go to Home Depot first before headed over to Lowes, but on occasion Lowes has something I need that I cannot find at Home Depot. This location is closest to my house and easy to get to, but customer service is a pain here. They do NOT have enough employees, and many times I have waited 10+ minutes for help getting key made, or some other question. On other occasions, I have found the customer service to be top notch, or even above and beyond. Really depends on the day, the person, and the section of the store. They have great deals in the boxes and if you are willing to navigate around on your own without assistance, you will find the store convienenct and easy to use. read more

They were the most pleasant people I have met lately in any store. There were some question as to when the date of the return policy started. In store vice online. After a short time and a few phone calls they were able to clarify everything. Daniel got my return completed. They all went the extra mile helping me. They were and still are some of the nicest people you can meet. They are very informative and if they need help they are not afraid to reach out to get you the best possible outcome. I appreciate everything they did and the great attitude and smiles they all maintained. I would recommend this store and these people for the great service they provide. read more

How do you review a Home Depot? Hummmm They have quite a selection of plants in their nursery area and they have quite a selection of lawn mowers outside. Other than that, it's a run-of-the-mill store. The service isn't terrible or great. For finding items, you're going to have to find it yourself because some employees know less about the store (and items) than you do. 3/5......just a regular ole Home Depot. Dont get anything delivered from them , the 3rd party delivery company Darrel Flood is very unprofessional. After damaging my driveway neither one of them wanted to accept the responsibility and make it right. They've been blaming each other for almost a year now and as a end result neither one of them are going to fix it . They sent a contractor out to do a patch job, he wouldn't even do it , he said where they broke it that it would have to be cut out and redone . I wanted to purchase Ortho home defense and saw they had the 1.33 gallon with the wand on sale buy one get a free 1.33 gallon refill good through 05/31/2019 online but I wanted to purchase the product in store so I called lawn and garden dept and asked if they honored the online promos in store the rep stated " She didn't believe so" I said are you sure or your not certain? She said no I'm sure we don't ! I said ok and hung up! Called back and spoke to a store associate at the front ask the same questions and he took the time and asked came back on the phone and said as long as the product is in stock they will honor the online promo! I waited until the 31st to purchase the product because that if when I get paid, before I went to the Home Depot I went online to make sure the product was still in stock and on sale, I no longer saw the promo online so I clicked the chat her now button and got a rep named Brandon he proceeded to tell me that there store never had that promotion and it was actually Lowe's! Lowes also was offering the same deal however there promo ended on the 29th , I grew frustrated and said "of course" and disconnected our chat! I called customer service for the HomeDepot.com and the rep informed me that the promos actually end the 29th at midnight which makes no sense that's a whole 2 days before the actual end date of the promo which was the 31st! She stated that was the way corporate wanted it !! I proceeded to inform her that the online rep also told me there store didn't even have that sell and I thought they were extremely misleading with their ads and I would like to have the coupon honored the rep said that is the way corporate does things and their would be nothing she could do !!! I mean it is only $15 dollar however it is customer satisfaction!! Unfortunately this apparently isn't the case. I sent all the info they asked for and haven't heard anything back. All I was looking for was some satisfaction that they were interested in their customers. I got the appearance of that with their response but that was it. Heck, they could have just blown smoke and told me they chastised the contractor and that would have at least been something. After many attempts to resolve, no progress has been made because we are never able to get in contact with our sales rep or he has not followed through. I had a great experience purchasing a showerhead online and picking it up in the store. The line was extremely short. Charlene, the home depot employee who helped me pick up the item was very friendly. They even gave me a bottle of water on my way out. This is the best service that I have ever received from a home depot. There was no charge for shipping because the item was picked up in the store.
