This is one of the worst Home Depot's I have ever been to. They don't restock their shelves in a timely manner. You can clearly see overstock visible on the upper shelves that would fill the empty spaces. Finding someone who can actually help is next to impossible. Unfortunately the closest Lowe's or another Home Depot is miles away so I come to this one for the convenience and certainly not the Service or Value or Selection. My suggestion is find another location and try that. Make this your last resort. read more

There are some very good people that work here but their good help and excellent customer interactions are negated by the laziness of the majority of the staff. If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I placed an online order for 6 bales of wheat straw. About 30 minutes later I received an email letting me know that my order was ready to be picked up. I made the 25 minute drive to Home Depot and when I arrived I was told "sorry, we are out of wheat straw." Maybe HD could have relayed THAT message via email instead of telling me that my order was ready and saved me the drive across town? Great people at this Home Depot location--there are some that have worked there for a long time. Manager on duty was very helpful a few weeks ago. I go there frequently. There is a friendly gentleman that works at the self checkout area almost every night--has a good sense of humor. Wonderful people. Shout out for great customer service from two awesome ladies at the Home Depot on Holcomb Bridge. Cynthia was restocking in the grill department and was kind enough to stop, help me, and see to it that my purchase was lifted off a top shelf and brought to customer service. Then Miss Janice took over...handling a purchase with coupon and specific delivery window on only part of the order. She's a 21 year veteran of HD and it shows! She was kind, Knowledgeable and efficient. Women helping women! Nice to have great customer service in a challenging labor market. P.S. Although delivery was free, I paid $20 for a guaranteed time...and two polite guys showed up ON-Time! read more

Another frustrating Home Depot experience. The customer service experience at this location has gone way down hill recently. Tonight, I purchased a multi tool that came with a free battery (in a separate package beside the multi tool). Went through self checkout. Scanned both. Was coming up $65 for the battery. Cashier called a guy over from another dept. He didn't know but I walked him over to the display and he agreed with me. Cashier called the cashier manager. I had to walk her over as well. She said that I had the wrong battery. I asked her to show me the "right" battery. She just walked off. In the end, she came back and just removed the battery from my on screen cart and just said "pay". I asked if I was getting it for free as the sign described and she mumbled something in Spanish and walked off. In the end, I was correct but it was too much for her to admit it. That's a bad way to treat customers. I have had enough with this Home Depot. In a typical year, I would spend over $100k here. Not anymore. I'm done. read more

This is the worst run HD I have ever been to. I have used it for orders throughout COVID. Employee awareness of COVID safety is non existent. They don't wear masks properly and get right in your face. They don't answer phones in departments (I have called and been transferred to plumbing 5 (FIVE) times only to get no answer and worse, connect then immediate hang up, over 3 days. Curbside pick up is ignored - you can text from your spot and use the HD App and no one ever comes out with an order forcing at risk customers to go inside and engage their poorly masked and largely clueless employees. Orders are often wrong. The list goes on. I wish I could find something nice and good to say as I normally have liked my HDs in other cities but there just isn't a bright spot regarding this particular store. read more

Terrible experience and do not use Home Depot for your appliances. We ordered a fridge 1 month before moving into our new home and the day before we moved in, Home Depot cancelled our order. They rescheduled it for the following week (now having to take work off) and that fridge was completely damaged. We then had to reorder another fridge because at this point, our first one is out of stock but they cancelled our 3rd order.... They then had to wait another 2 weeks to deliver our fridge because we were out of the country for our honeymoon and couldn't work around our schedule.... Don't use Home Depot... took over 1 month after our original delivery date to get this fridge, oh and they damaged our floors and lights in our stair case so now we are in the process of filing a claim read more

This is a decent Home Depot, well laid out and usually plenty of workers. And after being in about 15 of them, some more regularly you kinda get to know them. It's not the littlest of them but not a flagship store, but you'll find a wide variety of flooring, appliances, etc. There are a few really good employees here and as with any of the Home Depot you just have to find the regulars that work full time and avoid those that are part time or run the registers when asking complex DIY questions. Remember normally going to the Pro Desk or finding the master contractor on duty at each home depot is the best for getting solutions to tough issues like plumbing, electrical wiring, etc. read more

My brother said do you work over here and he said no. My brother was like we just need the paint stirred. The dude put it in the machine , made a call over the intercom and left. My brother had to open the machine which I'm sure he shouldn't have because we don't work there but there were NO employees on site. When we were walking to the front we see the same guy who just left us and he didn't say anything .. saw the original guy who actually worked in the paint department in the front doing something else . Home Depot has pulled a switch-a-roo. Bird seed used to sell for the $9 to $10 range for a 10# bag. Now HD sells a 7# bag for the $9 to $10 range. When a $9 bag is reduced by 25%, it goes really fast. I like to shop local but may be forced to Amazon. read more

I live such a short distance from this particular store; but I will go out of my way not to shop here. First, they have little or no inventory available, next, they have few employees that know the business or the location of things. I was trying to plant my fall garden this week and could find no one to help me. I left and went to the store on Pleasant Hill and Medlock instead. All employees there were very helpful and knowledgeable. This included several departments. I will drive 5 miles further just to avoid the Holcomb Bridge store. Currently waiting for someone to help me with a dryer purchase. There is one person helping a customer and associates everywhere. All of them unable to assist myself and the 2 other people waiting. I stopped a very friendly associate by the name of Susan. She kindly said she couldn't help me but that Jud would. I approached Jud to which I received "I can't help you." The woman in the department finally acknowledged myself and the other customers waiting. We both let her know we were waiting for appliances. She said "both, oh" and that was it. No "I apologize for the wait" or "let me find someone to help you." We are all still waiting. Not a very good experience so far. One would think customers ready to make a $1000+ purchase could get some type of service. read more
