Just wanted too come on here and write a token of appreciation for Andy in customer service who went above and beyond with helping me find the right type of solar lights for my garden. He was incredibly kind, patient and provided an array of different options I could use for my garden. I was able too find the perfect set of lights with ease as my selection is pretty grand. As easy as it may sound finding the perfect set of lights , you're looking for ones that actual will take in the rays, not peel from the sun and one that holds its value. Let's add yet another inappropriate experience to the list for this 2 star outfit. 1. I was ignored for not speaking Spanish, not once but twice. Then when someone did attempt to speak English to me, they quickly answered someone in Spanish who rudely interrupted our transaction and then they left with them. Really? 2. Purchased a Ryobi 40V leaf vacuum, got it home and someone had obviously used it, broke the axel, returned it, the store repackaged it with the broken axel in the parts bag (how thoughtful) and resold it as new to me. If zero stars could be given, it was certainly earned. Looks like Lake Nona from now on. Gosh I hope corporate reads this and Includes me on the class action lawsuit that is bound to be placed on this store. I think people should be treated Much better and not in a racist fashion. This review is for Jay from order fulfillment and Mira. There was a blonde lady with an attitude that was working customer service who was not appreciated. So we drove up here from where we live in south Florida for rubber black mulch because apparently everyone and their mother has bought this. The guy said they have plenty so we drove up. When we got there, we learned from Mira, there was none as they were inactive. So my wife walked over and found 7 bags. So needless to say we bought them. However, they had a ton of holes and were spilling out. This is where Jay from Fulfillment shined. Jay sat there with me and taped all the bags so we didn't loose all the contents inside the bag as we lost some amounts of rubber. So it helped tremendously. That was so nice. Then he lifted the bags and put them In my truck. Mira, gave us a discount as everything was damaged and someone else switched our order and gave us regular mulch. So that was nice of her. read more

It's too small, the checkout area is chaos, the stock is always a mess. It's not at all unusual to see something is there in inventory, but no one can find it. Another horrible experience at this Home Depot. I buy a lot of wood from this store and sometimes I have someone with me to help load it and sometimes I don't. The one thing I know for certain is that NONE of the employees will offer to help. If they see you they don't make eye contact (because they are on their phones) or they shoot down the next isle to avoid you. One would think if your an employee and you see a women loading 16' 2x6's you might offer to help....not at this HD. The cashiers are great and always helpful but the "loaders" are worthless young men to busy on their phones. This is my second review for the same issue. This is my second home. I must be here at least 2-3 times a week. If it's not gardening supplies, its irrigation, insecticides, and general home maintenance items. Oh, the joy's of home ownership. I have spent thousand$ of dollars in the last few years in this store. So many of the products have become defective. If I ever try to return some, there is always a story with them. It's a shame because some of the employees are the nicest, most helpful people. But some employees are horrible to even talk to. I will never spend another dime in this place. read more

While they don't have all the selection, they do have a paint department that isn't a headache to deal with. I needed a specific paint to match an old gallon we had stored away for years so I brought a sample of it hoping to pair it and fortunately was lucky enough to get the job done. I took advantage and grabbed some bite fighter tiki torch fluid in the outdoor department along with some nuts and bolts I needed to fasten this exterior panel I was trying to assemble. Home Depot is great for a bunch of household projects and having this location close to the area of the project enabled my efficiency in doing so. I scored on a flamingo exterior rug that's both useful and decorative with function. The staff was friendly and led me to every department I needed assistance in making my visit here quite pleasant. I wish they had more variety but I got the job done with what I purchased. read more

It's a pretty decent drive for me & its bs that I leave without my item & have to search elsewhere. If you talk to someone about it they always have an excuse of why it's not in store & to not go off the online inventory. What's the point of having online inventory if you can't keep it updated? Theu suck. They don't have what you want when you need it. No one here knows anything about construction and you cant get good answers out of anyone. They have what hou need stocked when you need jt and the prices are never in the right place. The employees are always late (especially the garden dept). This store carries the sheet metal framing for interior walls but NOT the screws needed. I really don't know why I continue to go here, other than the fact that it's the closest to my home. I placed an online order easily enough. I received a notification in a few hours that it was ready. I went to the store front and stood in line, and was warned by the man in front of me that he has been waiting a long time and they were incompetent. We waited TWENTY MINUTES. I gave up and left. Came back the next day hoping for better, nope! I was helped quickly but the employee had no idea how to use their system. I ended up having to ask her to move and use it myself. She couldn't understand that you had to list a primary contact method before you could go to the next screen, despite the warning pop up box stating such. You just had to read it. I finally got my item, after 30 minutes and 2 trips. Yeah, totally not worth it and spent more time than I would just getting it myself. Please do better, Home Depot. read more

We go for convenience and they have practically everything we needed/wanted plus more. Customer service though is horrible... In 2 days we've been there two times and spent easily about $400. Not one single employee asked if we needed anything or help with anything. The only people who acknowledged us was the greeter at the front and the self service cashier lady when she had to come over and help us yesterday. But for someone who has worked in customer service before I'd say they definitely need a lesson on how to treat their customers inside the store and in the parking lot. As we were walking out into the parking lot we were loading up our car and looked over and saw a woman loading her car with pavers and bags of stones. An employee walked out, walked right past her car glanced at her and kept on walking to deal with carts. like come on you see a woman lifting very heavy things and you walk right past her?! I was here yesterday looking for a fire pit and had my phone with the location of it but still couldn't find it. I went to the garden section and asked an employee who just finished helping another costumer, she kindly told me the isle on the website doesn't exist but she would find it for me!!! I recently went to Home Depot to check out their Labor Day sales. I was delightfully helped by Michelle, who by the way works at the tool rental department. I mentioned to her that I was looking to purchase a refrigerator. She made sure that her department was covered and then walked me to the refrigerator section and helped me choose the right model for my needs. Ordered two glass block windows one was good, the other was damaged and the packaging was badly damaged. Appears someone took the damaged end out and turned it around so it wouldn't be noticed. wish I could post photos. even one of the loaders said iI can't believe it's not damaged . 36/100 in 2016 challenge I like the convenience of this store. It is close to where I live. This particular store had been going down hill for a while. There had never seemed to be an employee around that you could ask questions to. They for the most part have seemed to correct that problem. Now you can find employees just standing around, they may not know where things are but they attempt to be helpful. That was not always the case here. I have run into the problem of something that says its in stock not really being in stock but usually can find it in another location. Their prices on pretty everything beat Lowe's prices hands down. The store other than the stocking issues seems well kept and as organized as it could be. I have never had a problem with returning an item at this location as I have had with others locations. The bathrooms always seem clean when I have used them. And of course the best part is my guilty pleasure of the hot dog - sausage vendor outside the store. I have been known just to go to the depot for the vendor. read more

Our visit to Home Depot was a breezy pleasure. Not only did a nice gent assist us in finding what we were looking for (a mosquito-repelling lantern that was advertised in the paper), he also walked us through the garden center and advised us on our eventual purchase of a key lime plant and a palm tree for the yard. The cashier was also very sweet even though they were coming up on closing time. In terms of customer service and ease of shopping, I'd rate this as one of the better Home Depots I've been to. read more

Would NOT recommend anyone order anything from the Home Depot in Saint Cloud, Florida! My husband is having an office built in our home and went to Home Depot to buy French doors. Home Depots first mistake: having a teenager take the helm w/ no knowledge about the product and told us that the ones we bought were the ones we needed. Of course they weren't because according to our contractor, it has to be a pre-hung doors, so we returned those and ordered the right doors on June 29th. Since then, its been nothing but "Your order will be in within 2 weeks" - going on 3 months now and still no doors. At one time w/in the 6-week window someone from the store called him and told him the doors were in so he went to pick them up only to find out they were NOT there. The person there told him it looked like they had been there but are gone now. Thinks were SOLD!! Are you kidding me?? This is the worst place for customer service. And as many times as he has called for an update.. they can not tell him anything other than "Due to Covid our orders are backed up." BULLSHIT!! STOP using that excuse! And to top it off.. now they tell him to call back on September 19th to see if his doors arrive w/ that shipment. What the hell? Someone needs to look into this. These doors were paid in FULL when we ordered them. There should be no excuse for us not receiving them. This is how you lose customers! Im pretty frustrated w/this store and everyone who works there because no one seems to know anything. read more

Stop through here to grab some painting supplies even though I do not care for Home Depot at all. After walking halfway around the store I finally asked someone where the paint was and mentioned there was not a sign for ???!!! The employee also confirm there was no sign for painting but did guide me to the dept. once I got there the young lady in the paint department was very helpful. On the way to the register I had another employee asked if I needed some help. Both ladies were very helpful. If I'm in the area I will stop here again but most likely I will wait and find a Lowe's. Called in prior to door arrival with a question, no one told me the doors were canceled by Home Depot because they don't know when they'll have them in stock. No one called or emailed me, I had a contractor create the opening where the door was going to be hung only to find out on pick up day that I have no doors. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE HOME DEPOT!!!!! Customer service area is a mess. It's like a bunch of kids that need supervision. Not sure if it's the seasonal employees but holy cow. All computers were open and no one was helping customers. Lady in front of me waited patiently for over 5 minutes before she asked the employee if one of them could help her. Employees hang out in small groups and lean all over the counters. A customer began to talk to them in Spanish it it started a small congregation while a couple of us sat in line. When I finally went to pick up my online purchase it took three of them to find it. When she came back to the computer another employee walked up to her and said that she needed her computer as I sat there waiting to sign for my package. Not sure if it's training or lack of super vision but wow...a mess. Finally when I finished I asked about an item an they directed to the area and told me someone in that area would help me lol. A few things. Half the people in the Garden center refuse to help. Maybe because I don't speak Spanish but they are rude and will walk away from you. HD offers a military discount BUT to select veterans (basically Active or retired). And they will make you feel like crap for asking for it! Last but not least they have people asking you to take a water survey. They will harass you until you give them your info then you get hounded by water filter sales people. My recommendation is learn Spanish and tell the water people you "rent". Will I come back, yes. I just had to learn that not every place has great service. Yikes. Made an online order on the 16th. It was shown delivered in store on the 23rd. I have a few courtesy days before checking in at the store day after day. Even though I showed the tracking history showing it being delivered, the excuses consisted of "it must be buried in recent shipments", to finally on the 30th "the vendor must have not actually sent it". It was a large garden arbor....so that excuse made me laugh. Talking over the phone to customer support didn't help either. They wanted to charge me AGAIN to ship to my house this time before refunding me for my original order and waiting 3-5 days for it to reflect in my bank account. The Home Depot - Getting those supplies!! - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Saint Cloud, Florida

This is second half or review please read other half..I called back and said okay; add the 500.00 to the $590.00 that I still had not received from the beginning of this ordeal! Interestingly enough, they hand-delivered the check a few days after... Imagine my surprise. Only TWO days later, the unit BROKE down again... TWICE! I was truly at my wit's end. The tech came out to "fix" it again and I said absolutely not. I wanted a new one. I called Ben Mazor and told him. I was told that one of the managers/supervisors at ARS said: "If it was me, I would tell them to take the $#&* unit out and then throw them off my property and say 'get me a new unit!'" Next, Allen called me and said "Would it be ok if we brought you a Rheem, a 16 seer this time?" I had heard of Rheem and as long as it wasn't a Goodman, I was happy, so I agreed! It was installed early in October. Well, November 3. Yeah, you guessed it. Broken. AGAIN!!! ARS came out again, said something triggered because we turned on the heat one night and it would not go off. They "fixed it" November 4. ARS made good on a fan on my carport they broke bringing in the one unit. Believe me when I say, this is worse than what you are reading. Starting with April 10,April 16, a few in between, Sept. 12, Sept. 13, Oct. 3, Oct. 10, Oct. 18, Oct. 21, Oct. 25, and Nov. 4, I have documents showing they came to fix the systems. Now, I am battling with Home Depot to get my Original warranty that I paid for and signed. They are saying I have to pay "A LOT" more for a warranty like that because it's a Rheem. I have not been able to get an answer from anyone at Home Depot about the warranty which I was told what I have now is a "Conditional parts warranty." I have called Ben Mazor from the day of the Rheem install to get paper work and nothing. Even the ARS worker said it was wrong what they were doing to us. I have no answer as to where our $1300.00 is or paperwork for a warranty. Around Oct. 30, after a phone call with Ben Mazor, I was so stressed I felt sick, had a headache etc. I took my blood pressure, and it was extremely high. I called my doctor because I have had several strokes. I went to his office and he immediately had the nurse take me directly to the ER. I spent three days there with stress diagnosed. I also have cancer and stress elevates the risks. Home Depot and the ARS people know this. I believe ARS has done a lot to rectify this, now Home Depot will not do its part. We have been going through air break downs and no air sometimes overnight, over 13 times. The stress and problems have continued for more than seven months. My husband and I just want this issue to stop and simply get what we paid for. Home Depot says we have to pay a larger sum still now or they MAY pay part. I believe we should be fully covered under the original warranty that we paid for. Also, Alex from Home Depot kindly gave us a $200 gift card to Home Depot after I told him we were taking out the tub and adding a shower, because of my health and arthritis. While very nice, this won't help me if my air conditioner continues to seize. Quick Recap: 1) Bought an Amana 15 seer unit. 2) Got a Goodman 14 seer unit. 3)Called Amana and they told me the Goodman was made by them but a totally different unit. If I was told I was getting an Amana, it should have been that. Units broke down many times, units exchanged...thousands of dollars in limbo. I have become so ill and stressed over this and my husband as well. He is the only one bringing in income as my cancer and health issues will not permit me to work. We cannot afford a lawyer. I hope and pray we get help. This is the worst instance of "customer service" that I've ever dealt with. The strain this has placed on my health and my family, is unbearable. read more
