Disorganized. Inventory should not be so hit or miss considering this is 2015. I went in expecting an item to be in stock, but was told that a similar item was mistakenly added to inventory (Nest Protect wired vs battery model). It appears that multiple Home Depot stores made the same mistake with this product. I checked with Lowe's and was able to purchase the product without any issues whatsoever. Simple, easy process. This store is really bad for customer service I was told to come in to get my 10% military discount once my wood floors came in because at the time that the flooring guy ordered the floors couldn't give me the 10%. So I came in and instead got an attitude from a guy at customer service cause they don't give military discounts online orders never again go to Lowe's instead they have a great system for discounts in store n online and a lot better customer service read more

STORE BLOWS I would give this Store a Zero if I could. The only reason I shop here is because it's close to my house. This Store has changed with the caliber of customer service people they hired. Nobody cares or wants to help customers. I watched workers dodge out on customers and pretend they didn't hear them call out for help. MY REVIEW WAS WRITTEN AFTER I COOLED DOWN. Once again aisles closed with no employees in sight and no one working. I now just open the gates and do my shopping, was there for a half hour this morning and no employees even noticed that I had opened the gates and left them open which proves there are no employees actively working these closed aisles. they don't care about customer convenience or safety as they have now effectively trained customers that their warning gates are totally meaningless. I have been told repeatedly by managers that aisles should only be closed when employees are actively working in the aisle and an employee should be present whenever aisles are closed. No employees noticed me in the aisle this morning and no employees noticed the aisle was left open after I left. There were no employees anywhere near the closed aisles. After I complain this will be fixed for a short time, then slowly the abandoned closed aisle issue returns. They simply do not care. Employees out front this morning were very vocal and highly concerned that "he won't like" the way they set something up with the riding mowers out front. They busy working away at that for an hour this morning. Plan and simple terrible lazy management concerned with silly cosmetics issues. read more

i have been shopping at the saint cld, store for over 15 yrs, and have seen this store, become a place were its more stressful, to shop, out off stocks, isles blocked, or unassailable, very bad service, always spending time looking for help, in fact more time then it would have taken to shop , if the items were on the self. and of corse they didnt have it, the area was empty. waste of my time and if you shop here, you will be waste ing your time, unless you get lucky.. iam always told, the Kissimmee store have it.....so why stop there, just go to that store, clean, instock, isles clear, friendly, helpful. in no hassle shop and go. I understand some times things are out of stock, but this is an out of stock store, and they are going to send you to Kissimmee store anyway. save your self the crap.just go to Kissimmee. The mgr is great, and the staff follows his example. Or even better go to lowes like I did, were the price was at least 1-2 $ CHEAPER per item. and surprise use your lowes credit card and get 5% more off your total. We were trying to find someone to help us and the was no one around so I asked the lady sitting at the desk across the isle we were in to call someone.. We waited several minutes and she called again. Several minutes passed again and no one came. The lady at the desk was walking away and I saw her tell another lady (looked like a manager) we needed help. The lady said she will get someone. An employee walked down the Isle and started helping someone else. The lady told him we needed help when he finished with the customer he was with. Then he walked down the next Isle and didn't come back. We waited around 20 minutes and could not get help so we left. We always have trouble getting help when needed. They need to teach the Employees the value of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

BEWARE OF INSTALLATION SERVICES!!! Long story that confirms what I read before contacting HD about installation services. I have one room, just under 12' wide with no closets, etc. that needed new carpet quickly so picked in stock carpet at my local store. Pulled out a 12' wide piece and knew a new 12' piece would go in quickly. Paid $35. and watched the measuring person as he measured-all looked good cause it was less than 12' wide. Written estimate came back that the room was 12'1" so it would require an extra 60 SQUARE FEET more than the small amount of extra that store sales said would work. Returned to the store; had a department head come to my home and measure again, confirming the first estimate for carpet. This department person said he would cut the carpet and have it ready for installers right away. Got a call the next day that a third measurement would have to be done before the carpet could be purchased and installed. I was going to just live with the delays and previous comments from store management (not dept. person) that I did not understand how carpet should be installed, until the scheduler started the same thing. Said the store person and I might not understand the measuring and installing process, etc. Finished the call then decided to listen to my gut reaction; do I really want these people to install the carpet? NO! The store does not allow reviews of measurement services; only installations, so I could not leave a review on their website. Hope you find your own installers. read more

We went to buy appliances today. We decided to buy from Home Depot due to us moving to St Cloud and believe you should buy locally. Rosie in the appliance department answered all our questions and spent time helping us make our decision. I had the worse experience by far with this store. Mydikema started on a Saturday 1/5/19. I went in to change a will call to a delivery and wanted to add some pavers we needed. When I went to customer service the person doing it did not know how to do it and passed me on to another salesperson. That person advised me that the order was placed back on the floor and I advised her that they had just contacted me. She informed me that They were receiving a shipment on that night. I was in a vice by Miss X that she was not able to provide me with a delivery date because it might not be on the truck. U was advised that they would call me or I should call Monday. To my surprise it was delivered on Monday morning at 6:15 AM and I have not received any phone call advising me of this. When the merchandise all right the gentleman said that they attempted to call me and that delivery was between 6 and 6 PM and I informed him that I would've expected a phone call at least telling me that it was being delivered the day before. His response to me was that was The way Home Depot does things they don't always call. Items that were delivered or not fully complete the only items that I received with the papers. I was at the store at 9:45 AM on Monday and ask them what had happened to the tiles. I was advised that they did not know what happened after much research on their part they were able to locate the tiles. I spoke with the long-term manager Miss Jay who informed me that I would receive a phone call when all of this was shorted out and get they would try to deliver today but if I could buy too much tomorrow that would be fine. I advised her that it would be fine. We received a phone call and we were informed that it would be delivered between 10 and two on Tuesday. We waited between 10 and 2:45 PM we did not receive a phone call nor did we receive a delivery. I contacted Home Depot only chip discover that they had it being delivered on January 15 and that the items according to them was not at the warehouse after being on the phone for a pre-25 minutes I started driving and I arrived at Home Depot and I was a block and a half away and I informed him that I would be coming in to discuss this. The gentleman by the name of Kristen informed me that it was not there and I told him and the other young lady know it is there I was 150% assured. He then after much discussion decided to go back to discover that it was there and that someone did not tag it. I had wasted a whole day of this it was 4pm when we finished and the delivery was now scheduled for Thursday between 10 and 2. Too my surprise the same delivery company calls me again at 5;56 am to ask for my address! I informed them that they better not be calling to deliver anything at this time and they just wanted to verify my address at 6AM are they not well. I returned the wall retainers that were sold to me instead of pavers on 6/12. Requested to speak with Alex the manager who could not devote a full conversation with me to either discuss with an employee how something went 3 times our conversation was interrupted. Apparently me being incionveniced by the incompetence of his sales associate and him meant nothing to him. This store needs to replace this manager and retrain the staff. He is by far the least us timer service oriented person. He lacks empathy for his customers being inconvenienced. My animals are more compassionate than him. His response was well we need to train our staff to advise our customers in delivery. No you need to have competent staff and you need to accept that you are responsible for the lack of training not your customers. I informed him that I would be putting a review and he could have cared less. He was too busy with other things. I guess customer satisfaction is not on the top of his list. read more

I started with a 3 star review because i was trying to purchase a door mat for $9.99(?) but it would not scan in the system. After waiting 20 minutes trying to figure out why it would not come up, my patience had been spent and I thought "do I really need this mat?" And as I was just about to leave, the cashier said she was giving it to me for $3.00! So I felt a little bit better about waiting. Next time, i won't wait. I still love Home Depot and they are always helpful. read more

I would give a zero if I could, but since it is close to my home, I punish myself by going there. I have to agree with Rich W. , this store is notorious for ignoring the customer, unless they are expecting a corporate visitor. Otherwise, they run from everyone and some of them are so rude when you ask for help. The other day, an employee told me that when I asked about soffit vents and stated that the online app said they had 47 on hand, but only 27 on the shelf, she told me "that is a plumbing problem". No help, didn't call anyone, nothing. Very, very few are helpful there. I have found Beatrice, in flooring, Barbara and Vic in painting, and Bev (when she was there) to be the best, otherwise the employees are terrible. Corporate needs to take note and put a new store manager in there to clean house and hire people who want to work and help the customer. We need a Lowes in St. Cloud, they go out of their way to help the customers. read more
