This was the WORST service of my life. I ordered a door in February of 2025 and it wasn't finally installed until February of 2026. Home Depot incorrectly installed the wrong door 3 different times and each time required a 3-4 month wait. During the 3-4 month wait process there was ZERO communication. Our order was delayed and delayed and delayed and I constantly had to call to see what the latest updates were and why the door was delayed each time. The 1st time the door was installed, the workers did not check to ensure it was the right in-swing before starting. Because of that, my options were to board up my doorway in the middle of winter with ply wood (did they think this was a real option???) or let them install the wrong in-swing door and pretty much lose access to that door until the next one arrived. I don't care how much of a price discount you can get from Home Depot, do not come here unless you want the worst service you've ever experienced in your life. read more

Update: This morning one pipe under our kitchen sink just fell off. Water in the cabinet everywhere!!! Let me be specific: not only did we spend $$$ for Home Depot to do the whole kitchen, they also charged us over $1400 just to connect the pipes under the sink, and here I am cleaning all the water on Friday morning! I'm doing some work in my backyard and needed to get one of the saws from behind the locked counter. I'm still not entirely sure why they're locked up because there are other tools similar to these of greater value that aren't locked up. But anyways, there I was, waiting for about 10 minutes for someone to come, but no one did. I had asked someone politely and was shrugged off initially. That's fine, I get it, working at Home Depot on a weekend sucks, but I didn't lock the saw behind the counter. When the Home Depot man came, he seemed slightly agitated by me asking for assistance. Again, that's fine, no problem as long as you're helping. I bought my tool, took it home to use it and of course, it looked like it had been used before and the blade wasn't in there. I have an complaint to make about the employees of the store on Victory Drive in Savannah, Georgia, on 4/1/19. I am 69 years old and required assistance in loading 28 bags of soil and mulch onto carts. This was no problem. When it came time to get assistance loading the soils onto the back of my friend's truck (he is 72) the cashier called around and could not get anybody to help, telling me that "nobody wants to do it." I pressed him to find somebody, as it was their job to do the loading. Finally, 15 or 20 minutes later a young woman employee named Donna came up and loaded all but 6 bags onto the truck. At that point 2 male employees came and tried to wave her away, telling her that she didn't need to do all that work. She shooed them away and finished. Employees not wanting to do their jobs? Almost 40 minutes for a simple propane exchange... I've had issues in the past with this HD location. Crap dunnage they're trying to sell as "lumber", employees that turn into ghosts when you need assistance, and stock that is incredibly misplaced and messy. This trip was especially sad though. HD has a self service propane exchange system outside with a kiosk. Of course, the kiosk doesn't work, and directs you to go inside to pay. I do so and go back to the kiosk with my 6 digit code... Punch it in, and the computer freezes. I wait a few minutes, yank on all the tank doors like an idiot, and give up. Not wanting to leave my empty tank, I call the customer service desk. "Sure, someone will be right out". 10 minutes go by. A lumber dude helps someone load their vehicle. I flag him down, he looks at me from 20 feet away (not coming closer) and I yell that I can't get my replacement tank. He grunts, and says "okay", and walks inside. 25 minutes in I call customer service again and threaten that I'll be coming in the store with my tank whether they like it or not to get some able bodied human to help me. They assure me again someone will be right out, then hang up on me. Finally... About 40-45 minutes in, a very friendly dude named Freddie sees me looking pissed as he's pushing carts into the store, runs over to help, apologizes profusely, and gets me my exchange... Let's start by saying I am a total Home Depot gal, see my previous review on Lowe's I have been working with this Home Depot for my kitchen remodel. It hasn't even started and I won't be continuing with this location. I started out this process with a kitchen designer named Will. He was extremely thoughtful and seemed to follow through on all my needs. He understood I was in a time crunch and was willing to work with me. Unfortunately for me, he was promoted (good for you will!) but that meant I got passed over to someone else.. Laura. At first all seemed well with Laura (over the phone) I thought she understood my needs as Will did but when it came to our first meeting today that became very clear I was wrong. Let's start by saying the meeting I scheduled WITH Laura was useless. I came in today about 40 minutes before our appointment and browsed a bit hoping I could see Laura sooner than our scheduled appointment at 4. Not knowing what she looked like I waited around patiently. 4 comes and goes and I'm still waiting at this point sitting in her office area. By 4:15 I get up and search for someone and the first person I find doing nothing.. Laura! So I approach her and say excitedly "I think you're who I'm looking for" she replies with a blank stair... so I further explain we had an appointment at 4.. again I get a blank stair and finally a reply "oh I didn't know"....... I scheduled this appointment with her.. how could she not know? But whatever things happen so let's ignore this. I sit down with her and we go over the design she creates for my kitchen. I start by telling her a few different things I disliked so we can change it and the entire time I'm positive she is drunk. She just gave me this blank stair the entire time. I try to ignore that she can't make or keep eye contact and looks beyond wasted barely able to open her eyes all the way. I tell her this is an investment property so I want an affordable remodel. I talk about the cabinets needing to be affordable and she says to me "well this is what I picked for you".. I'm sorry but is she paying for my remodel? Can she not hear what I'm saying!!? I ask her what are more affordable options and yet again I don't get an actual answer so I browse on my own. I find a cabinet I'm interested in and ask her the price... she can't tell me.. by this point I'm livid. I work two full time jobs and I made the time on my only day off to come see her and get my remodel started and I'm finding out slowly it's a waste. The final straw was asking about my measurements I paid to have done. I was curious about a wall if it was load bearing or not. She proceeds to tell me she will find out by talking to the gal, Pam, who did the measurements. THEN when Pam tells her she's only 90% sure about the wall and I would have to outsource to know for sure... WHAT?! What.. what?! What is the point of the contractor coming out to price the project? Are they not able to tell me if it's load bearing? If not I don't think Id trust them with this project. Over all this one woman has ruined my experience with my, what should have been fun, remodel. I asked Laura if there was anyone else in this design department I could work with and she promptly said no. So I will still be using Home Depot but will absolutely not be using this location unless there is another designer I'm able to work with. read more

BEWARE! I ordered a dishwasher and paid for delivery 3 months ago. It was delayed 3 weeks due to back order, which is not a problem. The. The crazy started. They use Last Mile delivery. This unprofessional company has rescheduled 5 times. Spoke to supervisors. He didn't care at all. Now they've done something that makes no sense. Maybe they gave delivery back to HD. They were supposed to deliver today. Still nothing. About to file small claims court lawsuit. Every time I call it's as if it's first time. Lawsuit required to get a stupid dishwasher. Only shop at this location during non-peak hours as all registers are self check. Saturday noon and 2 of the 8 registers were closed. Lines were 4 deep. A couple of elderly customers were having problems using registers and had to have an employee check them out...at the self-check. I abandoned my cart and stopped at Ace Hardward. This review has nothing to do with this particular store, but Home Depot overall. I purchased a Maytag washer and dryer using the Home Depot app. I was given a delivery date that was 10 days later. I was emailed with instructions if what to expect, which was a phone call from the delivery team on the day before delivery with a delivery window. I get the call but it's not a delivery window, it's to tell me that the washer is backordered. I am then told I will get another call to tell me when to expect it. The next call comes in and I'm told it will be delivered a month from the day we are talking (which was 2/23). I tell them that is unacceptable and I'm sure that they knew before that day that the washer was unavailable. Cancel the order and refund my payment, I will shop elsewhere. The delivery person transferred me to Home Depot as they were Maytag. Home Depot canceled the order, apologized for their lack of communication, refunds take 3-5 business days. I get a refund for the dryer on the 27th. I contact Home Depot to find out what happened to the rest of the refund. I'm told that it's processing. I wait a few days and still haven't received the refund so I contact them again. This time (it's now 3/9) I'm told that they will forward it to the IT department and I will get an update in 12-24 hours. 24 hours later, I contacted them again. Now I'm told that the vendor is closed and they can't do anything until Monday. I say I didn't pay the vendor, I paid YOU. I'm now told that I didn't get the refund because the item isn't at the vendor. I'm like so you sold me something you don't have, and can't refund it until you have it????? Now I'm promised it will be handled Monday once they get a code from the vendor to refund the order. I will absolutely never set foot inside of a Home Depot again! They have over $900 of my money held hostage! After canceling the order, I went to Lowe's on a Friday and the appliances were delivered that Sunday....... I am absolutely DONE with Home Depot. One star because I can't give ZERO STARS!!!! read more

This home depot has a good outdoor section. I've bought a whole bunch of plants, pea pebbles, and patio bricks to spruce up the yard. Also got a great deal on a floor model fire pit that was damaged. The lumber section leaves a little to be desired, but they do cut sheets and boards for you. One thing that's weird is this one floor associate who, every time I am in one of the DIY aisles (fasteners, tools, plumbing et c.) he walks up to me and is all like "Caaaan I heeelp youuuu?" in this extremely condescending tone. Then I tell him what I'm looking for (1/4" wood screws for instance) and he's gotta be all critical and questioning if that's what I really need. What the hell? I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. Aside from that, this is just another typical home depot where the employees rarely know the answers to your questions and checking out on those self-checkout machines are a huge pain in the ass. read more

Most Home Depots are consistant throughout so it is a bit hard to review one from the next. I must say that this is a drastic model from the ones I have come to known in Manhattan. This is the Home Depot you have come to know in Iowa and other places where land is not an issue. Huge aisles and a large variety of things to find and get lost in. I have been now 3 times and have found everything I have ever needed. I especially loved the gardening section and have loved watching the flowers and vegetables grow out my window. I only have one dissapointment to share. My main reason for coming here was to have some keys made for my new apartment. The gentleman cut my key for me but when I got it home it didn't work. I came back the next day for them to make the correction but they were out of that type of key to make a copy from. It was a waste of my time to make two trips there just to not get what I needed. I ended up getting a refund and having it taken care of a mom/pop shop in the city. read more

Hello, my name is Raven, and I am an active duty soldier. (GAVE ONE STAR NOT EVEN DESERVING OF IT) I recently purchased a Samsung washer and dryer set from home depot on July 3rd. I purchased the set for my new house that my new wife and I are moving into. I was told the set would not be able to be delivered for another 10 days which was no big deal. July 12 comes around and the washer and dryer showed up to my house with the delivery team, the dryer was just fine but the washer was very damaged from the transport. So I refused the washer and let them leave the dryer at my home. Unfortunately they told me they would not be able to get me another washer for 10 more days. Still not a big deal since I had already paid in full. Now its July 22nd the delivery team shows up to my house with another very dented washer while a very unprofessional Samsung representative on the phone is insisting that I take the washer and offered no type of compensation what so ever. I refused the washer for a second time insisting I deserve an undamaged washer since after all that is what I paid for. This time they told me before they bring the washer to my home they would do a "white glove inspection" of the unit before it leaves the warehouse. Fast forward its now July 29th 7 more days without having a washer at my home. The delivery team showed up and yes you guessed it damaged and dented, obviously no "white glove inspection" took place. At this point I am so furious with the way I been treated I just want my money back since they have proven multiple times they cannot produce the product that I paid for. Now I have not received any phone calls or any type of check up from either Samsung or Home Depot. I take it upon myself to find all of the proper channels and phone numbers trying to find anyone that would work with me and help me with my situation. After literally 5 hours of phone calls and waiting on different lines (sometimes on 2 different phones on hold with both companies) I turned up empty handed from both companies. If you value your time and your money do not shop with either of these companies. They do not care about the customer experience and just want to keep your money. I am now sitting at home with no washer in it, no update on whether or not they will replace it, and no word on if they will refund me my money. Absolutely horrible and exhausting experience its been do not waste your money with these companies. read more

DO NOT get your kitchen here!!! The design process took forever and was wrong multiple times. I got Thomasville cabinets which showed up with pieces missing. Then the missing pieces were sent again and promptly lost by commercial express their shipper... still waiting to see if I'll ever receive them. Then a separate panel piece that took two months longer to arrive because of a specific (but not very complicated) design showed up wrong. And instead of rectifying the issue promptly with apology the Home Depot kitchen designer told me I had to return what I had received and that getting the correctly designed panel would take another three months. Never an apology. Never an acknowledgment of a mistake. Never an appreciation for the many thousands of dollars I have spent. I will likely have to pay a cabinet maker for finish the kitchen because then, at least, I'll have someplace to do dishes other than the bathroom sink for once in what will by then be almost a year!!! read more

We went to home depot for our bathroom tile renovations. We did not have a good or perfect or in any way pleasant experience. It took months before we could even get a response or a set up date. Then once we finally, after having to go into the store physically, multiple times, got our estimate of around $1,900 the subcontractor arrived at our house saying that Home Depot only gave him enough materials to cover 125 square feet. That was nowhere NEAR what was required for our three bathrooms. This is after we had taken out toilets out, our vanities out, cleared EVERYTHING out of our bathrooms. We were also told it would take three days to complete this work and then were told it would take three WEEKS. We sent them home and went BACK to home depot to try to figure this out and were called back a few days later and told that BEFORE adding new supplies (not sure how they were "new" when the man who did the estimate measured everything we had) it would be $8,400. There were no apologies or explanations as to how this could get to messed up, just a simple statement about how much larger the bill would be. So, no. We were not satisfied in the slightest. The only saving grace at all, and my fiance and I both want to make this very clear, was the young man helping us in the flooring department. He was the only reason we did not lose our temper and at some points, once we had lost out temper he was the only one to calm us down. He was very kind, patient and eager to please and attempt to fix our situation. Other than that, this experience has not made us feel very comfortable doing business with this store. read more

Is there a reason why no one in the Home Depot could have let me know that the carpet I ordered on November 10 was not only NOT in stock--it hadn't even been manufactured yet? I ordered it in the store in Savannah, then paid for it online (to the tune of $800), got a call from their installation people, scheduled the installation for this coming Monday, November 24, and assumed we were steaming along with this plan. At no point between November 10 and today, November 21, did anyone tell me that things were about to go seriously awry. So today I get a call from Home Depot to let me know that, alas, the carpet we ordered is not even in existence right now. In fact, it won't be in the store until December 6. Which means installation wouldn't happen until days after that. Huh? So I asked them this: "If I pick out a different carpet, could installation still happen on Monday, November 24?" They said yes but I'd need to go back to the store and order a different carpet, one that's in stock. Which I tried to do just now. However, the woman in flooring in the Savannah store admitted that, even if that new carpet is in stock, it will NOT be installed before Thanksgiving. And probably not before December 7. Oy. We are racing to get our house on the market before the winter holidays, and Home Depot just blew our entire schedule. We cannot take photographs with the old carpet, therefore we cannot list until at least December 7. They have lost us time, money and caused us a HUGE headache. Yet other than "sorry," not one single Home Depot employee has offered us a discount, a refund or even a promise that when the carpet finally comes in, they'll do the installation that very day. I wish I'd gone with a local retailer. I was trying to save some money, but you get what you pay for. For another $200-300, I could have had new carpet by now. read more

This Home Depot is the pits. The parking lot is a mess and I feel like I am risking my life every time I have to drive in this parking lot. I don't know what it is about this parking lot that turns drivers into total maniacs. I also feel like I'm taking my life in my hands just when walking through this lot, so forget trying to use a different entrance and parking further away- you still have to navigate your way to the store on foot...good luck with that. Everyone is so fed up with fighting their way into the lot that they no longer mind taking a few pedestrians out. No one slows down for anyone here. Then you get into the store and it's just as bad. Every single time I ask an employee for help finding something it turns out they don't carry that particular product. I honestly think they just don't have a clue or a care as to what I'm talking about and tell me they don't have it just to shut me up. I got a few gallons of paint here once and it took forever. I needed primer to cover a red wall and the employee helping me said she needed a sample of the paint on the wall so she could make the primer. I didn't have a sample because the wall was red when I bought the house. I told her I just needed a pink primer. It became a really big deal. Finally she agreed to make me a primer based on a red color I picked out, and it did cover the wall fine, but I couldn't help but feel like it was way more of a process than it had to be. I would absolutely prefer taking the time to drive to Lowes or the Home Depot in Pooler over this location. read more

If you are needing any type of wood or plywood cut a special measurement, they have the tools to cut things to size. I have been able to do projects for my girlfriend because of this factor!
