This place sucks Here on Veterans Day(because I'm a Veteran working on my day off) trying to buy Lumber for my shop. Have been here Saturday and Sunday looking for a specific type that has over 200+ in stock online and the same people here have not replenished the stock on shelf. These employees need not come to work if they don't want to do their job They stand in circles and talk and don't even help u when checking out. Then they have the nerve to ask for a receipt as u walk out the door saying "I didn't see u checking out" WELL YEAH!! U RUNNING YOUR MOUTH WITH YOUR FRIENDS N NOT LOOKING AT THE LINE AT THE REGISTER!! If I wanted this kind of service I would shop in New Orleans East. I guess I will start driving 5 miles out the way to shop at the Home Depot on airport rd. Hope their service is better. This has been going on for too long. Mr. Lewis! Home Depot sure is lucky to have him around. He gave the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, and experience the other day! Mr. Lewis is a plant distributor for Home Depot, so he was with his guy this morning checking, placing and watering plants. I wasn't sure if he worked there or not so I finally just asked excuse me sir can you help. He said of course I can, so he goes looking for someone that works for Home Depot and as a tall grey hair guy comes out the door and we were going in he said I'm sorry I can't her right now! I was thinking to my self ok maybe I should just leave this cart of $500 worth of plants right here and go somewhere else! Well.... after that Mr. Lewis says come on ma'am I'll help you with whatever you need! He went ABOVE AND BEYOND AND GAVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Let's start off by saying-- Home Depot is my absolute favorite store, just not this location. My husband and I were in the store for 30 minutes and no one acknowledge us, offered their assistance or anything. Several assistants walked by with their heads toward the sky. One assistant walked past us a total of 4 times. (My husband counted) We just decided to leave and will not be returning to this location. read more

Just like most Home Depot, plenty of staff on the floor when you don't need them but when you look one to help you, they are like cockroaches when you turn on the lights. Employees are very friendly and helpful, greeter is always on point. They practice all the safety protocols when working with the products.
