Today, Home Depot customer service offered to fix the improperly installed door by having their contractor (RF Installations) cover the growing crack with putty. They also offered me $800 for dealing with their dishonest and indifferent employees. However, they are apparently refusing to honor the clause in the contract in which Home Depot is responsible for damage to the door during installation. Putty does not fix the fact the door swings open if you don't use the deadbolt. The hinges are not lined up correctly. They suggested putty because the growing cracks would not even be visible any more with putty and paint. I kid you not.

This location is amazing from their kind and oh so helpful employees plus the fact that everything is ALWAYS IN STOCK when you need items for your next home improvement project.

I like Home Depot's selection and prices for the most part but sometimes the customer setup is majorly lacking. If you go in at the garden center there are no signs posted when the doors will close and it needs them. It can still be bright and sunny and they are closed. The hours to have staff out there should align with the summer months. When you are ready to check out you have to go all the way to the opposite end of the store now which is ridiculous. The new set up of all check stands on the far end of the store stinks. Also, it's almost all self checkout now. I'm starting to think we should get a discount for feeling like we are working for the company when using these self checkouts replacing the worker who used to help us, say hello and thank you as we left. When you can find staff members they are always super nice so this is not negative towards them but towards the overall feel of less workers which is less customer service provided. Also, many plants are in need of watering and care. Someone should be put in place to water or rotate when needed daily. See picture, there were many other plants that looked the same, management should address.

Melanie!!!! My vote for employee of the year!!!

As I explained that I was looking for a case the gentleman then asked if I was looking for a specific case I explained to him I was looking for the life proof case for the iPhone 7, he did not just point me in the right direction, he walked me over to the product, went over key details and benefits and even went as far as to troubleshoot me through issues I might run into using my nightstand for he iphone. While I understand this is not something that can be done every single time in a busy setting, we were close to closing time and for the employees to show initiative while they aren't busy shows a lot. I've shopped here in the past and have received good customer service but this last visit was just over the top so I needed to make sure it was noted. The gentleman even commented on my pocket knife and began to personalize the visit, not sure if he was management but if not it certainly represents management that his employees follow suit just as a manager would.

BB replaced 4 pts at the end of my extended warranty in 1/2026, (front & rear bearings, dryer drum and heating element) instead of replacing the dryer after escalating the issue multiple times. The geek squad did the work and the problem is worse than it was prior to the two party team touching my dryer. I have sent multiple videos to the alleged supervisor, Patrick as proof of the problem and he never responded after his visit on 2/5/26. After numerous phone calls, the escalation dept scheduled two follow-up appoints, 2/21& 2/22, both were cancelled via text with no explanation. I was told that the work came with a 90 day warranty and BB is refusing to honor the warranty. DO NOT BUY LARGE APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY. If you're so inclined after reading multiple negative reviews, DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM BEST BUY. purchase it when you get the offer in the mail from the manufacturer. ALWAYS DEMAND THIRD PARTY REPAIR. BEST BUY outsources CS, I have spoken to 2 reps in Guatemala, 3 reps in Panama City, Panama, 2 in Central America, a number of others that I never asked for their location, escalation reps allegedly in MN, Florida, and Chicago all suggesting they will forward my concerns about the inexperienced geek sq techs, asking for third party techs or a replacement to No Avail. The dryer has been priced at approximately $630; after sending out 4 techs and replacing four parts, it probably would've cost less to replace the dryer. Best Buy is refusing to uphold the 90 day warranty they promised. I would not recommend BB to anyone.

She said No it won't be a problem, I said what happens if they say they cant fix it, she said that never happens so you will be fine, that false sense of security fooled me so I set up a appointment and the technician came out. He said the magnetron was bad and you need a new one and thats going to cost 500, i said ok so this is going to fix it, he said yes and if it doesnt we will keep coming out till it is fixed, i was scared by the number but its a built in microwave so the hassle of getting a new one to fit the wall was a pain so i asked him to order it. The part comes in he comes out and puts it in and it frys the new magnatron in a couple days. I call them back out and he says well maybe its this and maybe its that. Im thinking ok so I spent 500 for nothing and you cant fix it. He reassures me again and says oh we will fix it. He orders another magnatron and I ordered another part and he comes out again and installs it, its fries a few days later. I was curious of next step he said its broke you cant fix it. I said ok well since you could fix it can I get some of my money back since you couldnt fix it like you said you would. He said no and offered to fix something else or install something for free later. My thought.... if you couldnt fix this like you said you would why would I call you out again to overcharge me and not fix something else? Save your time and your money, go somewhere else or just buy a new appliance.

This time I called them for an 11-month-old clothes washer. The technician was on time and was dealing with my wife. He ran codes on the appliance and then told my wife it was going to be somewhere north of $500. Keep in mind this is a $700 drier from a well-reviewed brand. Not bargain basement, but not top of the line. I got on the phone with him, and he gave me a quote of $535.00. I researched the part, and according to the manufacturer, the price was $ 124.99. From Amazon, the part was $24.99. The estimate on the manufacturer's website said it was something pretty much anyone could do, by removing the 4 screws and an electrical pin connector, 30 minutes tops. I later contacted Mr. Appliance, and they offered me a 10% discount on the parts. Live and learn, I am out the $125.00 trip charge + the $27 spent on Amazon, and I have a working washer. I understand paying for technical expertise, but this was ludicrous, and Mr. Appliance in League City, Texas, will not receive any future business or recommendations from me.
