Very poor experience this is a scamming Best Buy. I buy this stealth pro on an open box "excellent" condition great $200 off but of course by time I get to the car I get a feeling like let me fully go through this. I look through and there isn't not one single battery for this $300 pair of headphones. I then go ahead and go back in the store immediately. I get back in line the person ringing me up the first time just leaves me stranded and provides no details to the next person. I show the person how I just bought an "excellent" condition product. And then come to find out there's no batteries in this $300 headphones so they laugh and agree that it's ridiculous that it's excellent condition when there wasn't even a single battery along with the "duo charging headphones" they instruct me to go grab another one off the shelf so I'm walking happily like wow super easy fix just replace with a new one. I walk back with the item. He's making conversation acting as if we're friends talking about gaming then randomly ends conversation saying. So that'll be an additional $130. I ask why would I pay if I payed for this excellent condition box when it has no batteries it'd be right to give me a replacement then he made up saying that since it's open boxed and the other one is a new box I have to pay the new box price. It isn't my fault that your employees cannot throughly inspect an item to assure it's in excellent condition when you quite literally can't use the headphones without batteries. Extremely poor customer service, even had the nerve to sell me "2 year warranty of any damages" when you guys don't warranty the "excellent condition" on any of your products. I of course got a refund because he obviously wanted me to pay for something I shouldn't be paying for at all. I kept the ps5 disc drive but I think I'll drive back now and just return it I can't support a business like this. This is a horrible terrible experience getting forced up charged for no reason. purchased w/d set GE PTW600BPR1DG & matching dryer on 12/06/22. Washer is extremely loud, basket & lid had to be replaced, 11/23 and 4/25 respectively. BB replaced 4 pts at the end of my extended warranty in 1/2026, (front & rear bearings, dryer drum and heating element) instead of replacing the dryer after escalating the issue multiple times. The geek squad did the work and the problem is worse than it was prior to the two party team touching my dryer. I have sent multiple videos to the alleged supervisor, Patrick as proof of the problem and he never responded after his visit on 2/5/26. After numerous phone calls, the escalation dept scheduled two follow-up appoints, 2/21& 2/22, both were cancelled via text with no explanation. I was told that the work came with a 90 day warranty and BB is refusing to honor the warranty. DO NOT BUY LARGE APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY. If you're so inclined after reading multiple negative reviews, DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM BEST BUY. purchase it when you get the offer in the mail from the manufacturer. ALWAYS DEMAND THIRD PARTY REPAIR. BEST BUY outsources CS, I have spoken to 2 reps in Guatemala, 3 reps in Panama City, Panama, 2 in Central America, a number of others that I never asked for their location, escalation reps allegedly in MN, Florida, and Chicago all suggesting they will forward my concerns about the inexperienced geek sq techs, asking for third party techs or a replacement to No Avail. The dryer has been priced at approximately $630; after sending out 4 techs and replacing four parts, it probably would've cost less to replace the dryer. Best Buy is refusing to uphold the 90 day warranty they promised. I would not recommend BB to anyone. read more

I purchased Microsoft Office from this store for the standard $150.00. Was completely unable to install using the Product Key code provided with my receipt. After 2 consecutive days of trying and SEVEN different calls to the contact number - which is a call center and not the store directly- I was told they needed to take control of my computer for $39 additional dollars to see what the problem might be. I refused that option and was then transferred to another department. That department informed me taking control of a computer for a fee was not something Best Buy does. WHAT???? So who was that individual and why would they want to access my computer? Not a single one of the individuals I spoke with were the least bit helpful. Service is absolutely horrendous. bought the AirPods Pro 2 from Best Buy Store #242 in Webster TX 12/19/24 for my husband's Holiday gift. My husband tried to register them to his IPhone 16 on 12/26/24 and they were registered already to "Serena" and he was not able to get them paired to his IPhone 16. We went to the store 12/27 to return them to either get a refund or an exchange, but management refused to do so because the serial number on the box did not match the serial number on the Air Pods themselves. I bought them this way from the store. They were sealed etc. when I tried to return them, Management took away the merchandise immediately and refused to issue a "return of merchandise" receipt, which is required to dispute a charge at my bank. I was able to get the AirPods back, because if I did not, it would be considered "customer abandonment" I trusted Best Buy to give me a solid Apple Product back but instead the management at that location treated me badly and refused any recourse. I was able to contact their corporate office and they allowed me to return them via UPS. I hope they make this right but they sold me a faulty product and I will never shop again at Best Buy Store # 242 in Webster TX They seem to be crooks read more

My wife, son and I went to look at a surround sound system for our home Monday, September 25, 2023, around 3PM. We went directly to the electronics department in the res of the store. We are there to demo a few different manufacturers systems that best buy has connected to demo. We are looking for an upper end system. Not what was out in the back demo area so we made our way into the rear left area of the store. This is we're the good stuff is located. We saw a few systems we wanted to hear. There was absolutely nobody in there to show us anything. Some of those set ups are well into the 5 or 6 digits in cost. That being the case I didn't just go pressing buttons. We we're looking for a very nice setup to be installed in our home. We waited in there for maybe 20 min. I finally went back over to the electronics desk. We are very polite people. We are raised to say please and thank you. Neither of us are assholes unless you deserve it. I asked if someone could please help us? The young man said there was probably only 2 people in the store (I think he said one of the names, sue) that could help us with those upper end systems. He left to find someone. 20 more minutes pass..... nothing. We came to the conclusion they didn't want to make the company any money that day. Must have been some type of special event going on. Maybe it was "ride the clock and play grab ass day". As that what was definitely going on. We se plenty of employees doing just that. We didn't leave because our son wanted to look at the toys. I got excited because I saw the guy that said he would go find someone for me. Then I got let down when he looked at me and turned his head really really fast. Pretending he didn't see me and quickly walked away. I could only think, we'll, maybe he was looking to partake in the event. He wasn't looking for me, he was looking for another employee's ass to grab because he was damn sure dodging me. If they were paid on a base salary plus commission on their sales they wouldn't need half as many employees riding the clock and more people busting their ass to help people. We'll spend our thousands elsewhere. My hope is this post will help their management to make changes. if you go there hopefully they will treat you better. It doesn't matter if you don't spend anything or intend to spend thousands of dollars. If you're courteous and treat people with respect, you only hope that its returned to you by employees. Merry Christmas, Best Buy Baybrook just took a crap on me again. Don't buy the replacement plans because when you go in after your device fails after four months they say you have to pay again to get a new replacement plan if you want coverage. It's still covered by the manufacturer for the entire year so they get a full refund from the manufacturer. They still would not exchange it for me unless I wanted to pay money. This is a racket. They refused to stand behind their products even when you buy a service plan they want you to pay more money to continue the coverage that you still have until the end of your plan. Do not take your phone to the Apple center here, you will be taken care of by "geek squad" and they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. I set my appointment through Apple and it landed me at this location. They checked my phone, told me it acts irregular but the computer says has no hardware issues. Was nothing they could do, they even advised me to sell this phone or get a new one. ($800 phone still under year warranty) Next week I take it to the ACTUAL Apple store in baybrook mall where they immediately showed me software bugs logged by my phone. As soon as they plugged it in. Walked in to purchase a case for my iPhone, as I walked in I was immediately greeted and then asked my reasoning for the visit. As I explained that I was looking for a case the gentleman then asked if I was looking for a specific case I explained to him I was looking for the life proof case for the iPhone 7, he did not just point me in the right direction, he walked me over to the product, went over key details and benefits and even went as far as to troubleshoot me through issues I might run into using my nightstand for he iphone. While I understand this is not something that can be done every single time in a busy setting, we were close to closing time and for the employees to show initiative while they aren't busy shows a lot. I've shopped here in the past and have received good customer service but this last visit was just over the top so I needed to make sure it was noted. The gentleman even commented on my pocket knife and began to personalize the visit, not sure if he was management but if not it certainly represents management that his employees follow suit just as a manager would. read more
