I find the displays have the appropriate amount on them so I don't get overwhelmed. They are relatively strict about the consignments they'll accept, so most of the items are in good if not great condition. I like the sliding price, each items price is reduced after a month or so and then again a few weeks later - all of that info is on one price tag. Mostly friendly, helpful staff. Kudos to them for supporting local women through the Cinderella Program.

Then, we went across the street to Bath by Design, where we were greeted very warmly by Thane. We explained what we wanted, and he helped us design and select the pieces. We worked together over the course of a several of weeks, communicating via emails, phone calls, and visits. We settled on what we wanted and made our purchase. There were some hiccups along the way, but Thane worked with us to ensure everything ran smoothly. We had to return a couple of items, and there was absolutely no problem. Thane is one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic associate we have ever met or worked with. We are very pleased with our purchases and experience.

In todays world getting help with small things that do not necessarily translate into a profit means not getting the service. In our case we had the benefit of dealing with Amanda in Kelowna who took the time and patience to help us get what we needed. My reason for only a three star is that I purchased two things. A blouse (I didn't try on) and a purse. My purchase came to over $50. I get home to find that the elastic is gone in one of the sleeves of the blouse and one zipper of the purse is broken. Neither item is usable. I recognize it's my own fault for not having tried on the blouse and not checking that all the zippers worked in the purse. I do think however, that at such a high-end consignment store that these things should have been checked before putting items out for customers to purchase. I am $50 out with nothing to show for it at all. This experience will affect my future shopping at this store.

I'm a size 16 or XL and the racks are divided by size instead of by color like so many others. It was such a joy to find some nice clothes that look new and actually fit. They have a great costume jewelry section and some hats, but I concentrated on sweaters. I managed to find a new-looking NYDJ red sweater with modern slits on the side and back and was on sale for only $10. That's a win. The customer service was very good and the women there are really friendly. Looking forward to coming back!
