I try to buy a few every year to expand my graveyard- but the home improvement stores back home didn't have any! I actually thought they were stocking them.... until I found them at this location! I used their design services to add cabinets to my laundry room. The communication was terrible throughout. I only learned information if i asked a question - for example when are the cabinets arriving, why is the sink not included on my order, etc. They told me NOTHING about their process or when to expect delivery or installation unless I asked. The cabinets arrived without hardware because I did not think to ask about handles. That cost me extra to hire a handyman to install them. It took more than two months to install two upper and two lower cabinets with a sink. That seems excessive to me, but if they had set that as an expectation when I first met with them then I probably wouldn't be writing this poor review today. I have used Lowes in the past for similar services without any issues. I wish I had went back to Lowes. read more

I just have to start off by saying I love the Home Depot app. It allows you to lookup items and locate them within the store. This is a great resource during these crazy times. I came to Home Depot today to buy a new water heater. The app allowed me to shop prior to entering the store. Once, I arrived I knew where to find my deserved item. Well while walking to it, I happen to come across a nice tool chest with built in power plugs and work benches area on top. It was a wonderful score for $248. Okay, now back to the water heater. I was able to get a nice customer service rep to help me get it through checkout along with my extra find. Then, we loaded it up into the back of the truck. The dangers of having a truck is having the possibility for more room which leads to more unplanned purchases of awesomeness. read more

I love Home Depot, but this one is not my favorite. Usually Home Depot's have the most gracious people working there, and they help you every inch of the store. This one is not the case. It's hard to find people here to help you, and guide you through your challenging home projects. We prefer New Tampa's location, and it's not that much further whatsoever. I personally think that their favorite thing to say for everything is use Gorilla Glue. It will solve everything. Nope not really. We recently went here to have our lawnmower fixed. It was simply to clean it out the gunk that had collected from not mowing the lawn as much since it is the winter time. They took care of it, and informed us right away of it being complete. I am a Veteran. I showed my ID to the cashier and was told they do not accept my type of ID in their store. It has been accepted their store before and in every other Home Depot I've used it at across the country. I explained that It had been accepted there before. She basically accused me of lying. Saying "No sir, you did not use that at this store". I have receipts showing my military discount from that store. Would not have been so degrading if she had not been so curt in the way she treated me. Reminded me of the sixties. Home Depot Window Treatment/Blinds.com Review In March 2022, I ordered blinds and installation from Home Depot (Blinds.com). Melodee was the design consultant and she was very helpful. She mailed sample blinds and provided instructions on how to use Home Depot's Window Treatment website. The process was easy and quick. Now, I have a new home and need a whole new set of blinds. So, I went back to Home Depot's site to restart the process...it was disappointing. This time the design consultant was Gene, and he seemed more concerned about selling the product quickly than providing quality service. During our initial call on 31Jan23, I explained to Gene that I needed 11 blinds and that I wanted the cheapest available. Gene stated that ordering more than 10 blinds had an extra fee and that the cheapest blinds were faux wood. I gave him my address for the measurement appointment, and I spelled out the name of my address; Gene repeated it for confirmation. We set appoint dates and times for 10 and 13 February. On Wednesday, I checked the website...Gene spelled the address wrong. I renamed the project to my address name in case technician had a hard time finding my home due to Gene's error. Later that day the technician called asking if he could measure my windows on Thursday since he was going to be in the area. I agreed. So, on 02Feb23, the tech arrived and I told him there were 11 windows to measure. He wanted to measure around the house in a clockwise direction to ensure all windows were measured, and I accompanied him to each window. Once complete, he told me that the measurements would be uploaded to the site within 24 hours, and then he left. Later that evening, Home Depot sends me a notice saying my measurement appointment is scheduled for 03Feb23. I immediately called Home Depot, and Breanna (customer service rep) looked into it. She then made the correction and provides me with the measurements taken. The Measure Form had 10 windows and scribble in the place of the customer signature; the technician never asked for my signature before leaving. I checked the website, and it also had 10 windows listed. Gene called on 03Feb23, and I answered immediately. Once again, I had to explain that I have 11 windows. For some reason, Gene did not catch that before calling me about the order. I specifically told him there were 2 windows in the master bedroom...not 1. After I thought we cleared that up, he then asks what designs I wanted. Thinking back to Melodee, I asked "What designs? You never sent any samples for me to review." Later I realized the samples were all online, but Gene never explained that. Eventually, Gene just abruptly ended the call after saying he would look for the missing window. Later, he emails me that the window was found. I reply "Thanks. When will it be uploaded to the website? It still shows one window for the master bedroom." Instead of answering my question, he responds "I will have to add manualy". Since then until 06Feb23, I checked the website, and Gene has not done anything. After I posted the need for blinds on Yelp, Gene immediately calls and states the window was found, but I decided not to answer unless website was updated. Sure enough, Gene did nothing. There was no way I was going to trust Gene with my order by phone since he can't get simple details straight, and I couldn't order online because the measurements were still wrong. So, I lost $53.50 for a run-around by a guy who isn't good at his job. I am done with Home Depot's Window Treatment. In addition, Gene needs to some training on customer service when it comes to phone etiquette. Abruptly hanging up on a customer is bad business. He should have asked "Is there anything else I may help you with?" or simply say "Goodbye!" If I had more concerns, I would have been PO'd having to call him back. read more

Average stock for most home improvement stores. Home depot has a lot of the major brands so you know what you're getting. Well laid out as are most are. Well lit and clean. Staff seems as if they don't want to help. Speeding by if they see you take a breath to maybe ask a question. Checkout has some of the worst non caring people in any kind of store bar none. You can tell it's just a job and they don't want to be there. I had a discount, showed cashier, she seemed to scan it but when I looked at my receipt at home, no discount. Was not a deal breaker but don't offer something you do not back up. Have been shopping here for years and still can not get over the attitude of the staff, specially the cashiers. Wanted to get a fire pit for my boyfriend for Christmas. Went earlier because I knew I would need help on my own (9am) The box is 100 pounds I am 107 pounds. I initially asked the lady in the garden section to call someone for help. She said "nobody's answering" So then I go to the "customer service" section to ask for some customer service. Short haired brunette middled- aged woman asks me "are you actually going to buy it?" While talking Tom the person she's asking to assist. "Uhhh yes and I have a couple questions please" I replied. She rolled her eyes. sorry do I look like I can't afford it? Maybe I should get a job here at Home Depot so I can compete with your social standing. Then the lady sent to help me weighed as much as me and was elderly, complaining about her back. By this point I said I'd just get it delivered and went to find somebody who looked a little stronger to help. Had to go all the way down to the other end of the store to find an employee under the age of 65. (I'm happy you employ the elderly, but geez I must've passed by 30 people and all were smaller than me or 65+) This guy was very kind to help me get to the register and answer my questions. Thank you! Got the the register and tried to get it in my car by myself since I'm such an inconvenience spending $400. Asked for help yet again and this guy tried, but bare minimum. Wouldn't fit in my car so I went to bring it back inside, but he took my cart away. Over it. Went inside to pay the $80 delivery and ended my trip with a much nicer and more helpful lady at the desk. The rude one who judged my appearance? Staying quiet and staying away. No apologies for any of the inconveniences not that I asked for one. I Waite 3 weeks for the washer/dryer combination I ordered to come in and be delivered. Delivery was made on the day promised by two men that neither spoke English. I signed for the delivery without being able to inspect the delivery as one of the men was standing in front of my view. I immediately left my home to check on my husband as he has been in the hospital or rehab since since April 7 2022. Upon returning home I started a load of laundry still not observing that the delivery was not the combination that I ordered and had paid for at the time of placing my order. When I called the store And explained that I had been delivered a washer only I was told I would Have to call distribution to resolve the issue within 48 hours, needless to say I blew my gasket. Home Depot had my money and I didn't have what I paid for. They should have worked to resolve the issue, I even spoke to the manager and was told the same thing. I called the number they gave me and the person I spoke told me that amazing enough the stir had notified them. I will never make another purchase from Home Depot based on their service and will advise everyone I see to not buy from them. read more

Their customer service is lacking with the exception of Randy and the gentlemen who was cleaning the bathrooms who provided band aids/ointments. Requested multiple times for assistance to loadp material with no help coming. Loaded it ourselves and cut (deep) a finger. Reported to the manager Mike who said" there was gloves back there to use to prevent". Our response "well if we had somone to come talk to us we might have learned that information." Then we requested for help loading plywood due to the laceration on the finger..about 20 mns sitting in the loading area we had to go back inside and complain. Would this stop us from returning? No. Hopefully they'll take a customer's need for assistance, read this and use as a training tool for customer service improvement. read more

READ. Went in with my family today 4/23 around 1:13 p.m. Everything was fine UNTIL we went to self checkout. While we were scanning I felt eyes on us. I look over to see this little old white lady (in a cast) who works there starring right at us. Very uncomfortable let me tell you! She watched us scan every single item. Then when we get our receipt she immediately asks to see it. I was thinking about why she asked to see our receipt AFTER she watched us with radar vision. We showed her and said "we didn't steal anything". She replies " I am just doing my job". I would understand if she was checking everyones receipts but we stayed back and watched her and she did not check any other persons receipts after. We are a hispanic family and I am 100% sure it was racially motivated. I am also leaving this on Google reviews as well. She had an attitude about it too. I went their over the weekend to purchase a generator due to the up coming hurricane season and it was tax free weekend. I was hoping to use a coupon I had for no interest for up to 24 months. Unfortunately , some where along the way I lost the coupon I had. While hoping to find one on the internet I did come across one. The coupon states "no discount code required for up to 24 months of no interest. I really only needed 6 months anyways. Two cashiers had no clue how to do anything about it. They didn't call a manager to even find out how you did it. She told me to just use my Home Depot card and it SHOULD work. Well it didn't. I do love the convenient in and out access of this location. There is always plenty of parking and I have mainly frequented this location for the lawn and garden section. Their variety and options of plants and landscaping is top notch and I have never purchased a product there that has not lived up to its function. On the rare occasion when I have gone into the store to find an item or product, I will agree that sales help is a bit scarce. The selection of products is a bit limited inside the store compared to some larger locations and Lowes. Overall, however, this is a good place to find the bare essentials you may need for any home improvement project. read more

Then maybe you should ask to be placed at a register that oversees one line, not four. But I guess her grumpy attitude beats being ignored when we want to go through the self checkout and need help, like when the slightly younger of the older employees with the long hair is busy flirting with the men going through there. My experience in the purchase of a Samsung washer and dryer has been a total nightmare. The first set were damaged and the second set arrived without the stacking kit and neither the delivery service used by Home Depot or even Home Depot were interested in resolving the problem. A third delivery was scheduled and once again no stacking kit. I made the purchase on 11/11/2018 and canceled it along with the Bosch dishwasher and got my funds refunded today on 1/3/2019, around 3K and drove the extra miles to order the same items from Lowes only after checking to make sure they do not use the same delivery service. Lowes will be for all my shopping from this point going forward. I filed a complaint regarding the delivery service with the BBB and will also be filing a complaint against Home Depot. Worst customer service that can't really be called customer service. I would give them zero stars but that is not an option. read more

I am giving this store 1 star based on my conversation with a supervisor regarding my delivery today. My deep freezer quit working so I went into the store yesterday to purchase a replacement contingent on next day delivery. The gentleman that helped me was very professional and committed to having the appliance delivered today (Saturday). By 1030 am I had not received a call to confirm my delivery window so I called the store to follow up. Ana assisted me and said that she would call me back after she called the delivery company and try to find out what was going. She called back as promised but said that they were not answering and she had no way of getting ahold of them but I could call her back and she would try again. I called back at 130pm and asked for a supervisor. I was transferred around and finally was given to Sandy, Home Depots "Supervisor". I expressed my frustration with situation and also explained that I had several hundred dollars worth of food that would spoil if I did not receive the merchandise as promised. I told her that Victor had committed to delivering the freezer today, and if he had told me that it wasn't a 100% guarantee, I would have purchased the freezer from another company. She responded by saying "Ma'am, I didn't promise you anything and I cant guarantee that you will have it today." In the end, the delivery company did call and said they would be here this afternoon (which was all that I wanted). I have been in the customer service industry all of my life, including several supervisor positions. I am sure this is not the way that Home Depot instructs their supervisors to respond to adverse customer service situation. I love home depot, but this location is lacking in the customer service area. When I told the flooring guy I was installing my hardwood floor myself he laughed at me. When I'm in the moulding section it's a ghost town and I have to hunt people down in the gardening department. I will say the employees in the paint and appliances departments have always been helpful though. I will continue to shop there because of selection, pricing, and convenience of the chain in general. They have really good sales on hard wood flooring when someone doesn't accept a custom order. read more
