Always remember Boys and Girls you pay for what you get and believe me you won't be disappointed. Mary the proprietor of the farm is amazing and gives great service. The farm itself is very well maintained and very clean. They only take Cash or Check.

So sometimes I come across a place so good that I have to stop and ask myself the question - do I…read morereally want to write a review? I mean, do I really want to let other people in on the little gem I just found? We were on our way home and saw the sign on 401. A little sign that simply advertised Texas long horn and Scottish highland cattle. They offer a variety of thier own local, organic grass fed beef, local cheeses, honey and some other products. Be forewarned- they only take cash or checks. All the beef and chicken will be frozen. While the prices aren't cheap, I am a big supporter of locally sourced food, wine, etc. Purchased a long horn filet mignon, the Scottish Highland tbone, and some local goat cheese. All told about $30. Made them for dinner- sous vide method, finished on a super hot grill. If you love beef - you will relate to this . I've had steaks in some of the best steakhouses in the world. I mean some really extraordinary stuff. Both of these cuts were the most intense beef flavor I've ever had, the closet I can remember to the filet was true Japanese Kobe. To say their beef is good is like like calling a Lamborghini a car. You miss the point. Made my eyes roll up in my head - a mystic experience. Needless to say I am now spoiled for any other beef. I'd rather spend more and eat less than go back to something else. The Whynotfarm has me wondering why did I not find them before... Every once in a while even a blind squirrel finds a nut. Holy Cow batman!
