If you're in Memphis and looking for great coffee, make sure to check this place out! The coffee shop is located inside a church, with its own entrance and plenty of parking. It's spacious, with lots of seating, and definitely welcoming to everyone. It's great for studying or meeting up with friends. The baristas were all kind and certainly knew how to make a great cup of coffee! I usually opt for a cortado, but this time I tried their Spanish latte, and it was delightful. I came with friends, and they all enjoyed their drinks as well. If you love matcha, you'll definitely want to try that! Their restroom is surprisingly nice! They offer some items if you need to freshen up or spilled some coffee--don't worry, they have a Tide pen for you in the restroom. Overall, I love the hospitality and, most of all, their great coffee.

Looking for a coffee fix while rambling around Memphis on a visit to family. It was a little later in the afternoon and some cafes were already shutting down, but we found The Hub open and easy to access! This coffee shop is located in a very large church. As such, there is a lot of parking! Like, a LOT of parking. Since it was a Saturday it wasn't crazy congested. I liked that they had spots reserved not just for handicapped folks, but also for families with small children, expectant mothers, first time visitors, etc. It made the vibe more welcoming. The church seems to have a fairly large campus and The Hub itself is housed in its own large section of the building. There are a few signs/decorations that remind you it's part of a church, but it feels fairly secular, which I thought was nice. The vibe is welcoming and sort of youthful. There's a lot of seating, both traditional tables and cushy couches and they were BUSY when I walked in. Still, the wait to order and grab my drink was brief. The two young lady baristas were nice and working diligently! I was happy to see they're still offering peppermint mochas even this late in the season. I love a peppermint mocha :) They have small snacks and pastries and such but I was still full from lunch so I only ordered a drink. I stood and sipped on some of the complimentary iced water. My iced peppermint mocha was really good! I could've actually done for a teeeny bit more coffee flavor for once, but the drink itself was smooth, nice amount of ice, and perfectly mint-chocolatey flavor. Thin Mint vibes! Definitely would recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.

The Hub is a large coffee place that can accompany a large amount of people; whether you come as a group of friends or want to tuck yourself into a corner at a lone table. There are even back rooms reservable for groups and meetings. The coffee is excellent and the unique creations in-house are very good. The only limitation is the menu. There are times when they have no breakfast options other than very sweet baked goods because they use a service that may not deliver egg burritos that day. The Hub focuses more on providing a good, clean atmosphere with great coffee, rather than food.

Went to The Hub for the Coffeeshop Hoppers pop up. Fun times. I ordered a Peach Pie Latte. It was good. I ordered it with half sugar and oat milk. The peach flavor was not intense. Wish I could have tasted it a tad more. It filled me up a lot. There were many pastries available. I did not order any that day. They also have coffee beans that can be purchased. Service was good. The barista was pleasant. The ambiance is always cool with a modern decor. It is a very popular coffee shop in the area. I will return one day.

This coffee spot is neat! They open early, it's tidy inside with plenty of room to cozy up. It's a local favorite and I believe it's part of the local church (I'm not sure though). Their cappuccino hit the spot in the early morning and it was perfect with some of the banana bread they had on hand. You can heat up the pastries yourself and be all set. Service was great, and it's one of the prettier presentations I've seen for specialty coffee. I really need to go back because it was good!

Best coffee in Memphis. PERIOD. After doing extensive research on coffeeshops in the greater Memphis area, this place was bookmarked at the top of my list. And as you read my review, you will soon find out that they do things the right way. Located just off of I-240 and Poplar Ave., "The Hub Coffee" has been one of the coziest and structurally amazing places to grab a hot (or iced) cup of coffee, espresso drink, tea, or even a small bite to eat. I came here during the morning of Saturday, September 25th around 9:00am. At first glance, you would never think there would be a coffee shop here as it is tucked in the same building as Highpoint Church. Remember, this is the south where churches are prevalent everywhere. The hours of operation are 7am to 7pm Monday through Saturday while their business is closed on Sunday to focus on Highpoint Church Sunday Services (that are held at 9am & 11am). Parking is relatively easy to find and a bit of a walk to the front of the entrance. But once you step inside, you are greeted with one of the most spectacular and cozy interiors. The high ceilings, open layout, wood trim, progressive lighting, comfy seating areas, and beautiful artwork that reads "Love Works" adds to how impressively impeccable this place is. The square footage is utilized to the absolute full potential the open space concept is executed amazingly well here. After taking a glance at the menu prior to coming here, I ended up ordering a hot cup of their "Spanish Latte" priced at around $5. This is a latte that is infused with sweetened condensed milk to give this a truly sweet and savory taste to it. I also ordered a warm butter croissant to complete my light breakfast. Once my latte is ready, it has the perfect latte "art" scripted into the warm, frothy foam. The taste was perfect, hot, and very delicious. The croissant itself was baked from the "Dough Rye Mi" bakery, also based in Memphis. Overall, "The Hub Coffee" is one of the best and inviting coffee shops I've ever stepped foot it. It is a great place for studying (with the super-fast WiFi) or just conversing with your friends/colleagues. The employees all genuinely enjoyed being there while the entire business moves like a well-oiled machine. With the decent prices, delicious coffee, amazing ambiance, and above average level of customer service, I am giving "The Hub Coffee" a perfect five stars.

Great place to work/study. Cool, modern space that is condusive for getting stuff done. They operate within a church and proceeds go to a good cause. Parking is ample since it is on the church grounds. I can't address the coffee quality too much as I only drink black coffee. But judging strictly on their drip coffee, I'd say it can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. Sometimes I get nice, piping hot flavorful coffee. Other times it can be good, but not as good as can be if you know what I mean. Overall awesome place, that I will surely go back to repeatedly!

When you walk in you're taken aback with how many young people are there but if you're like me I just get social anxiety when I'm around a bunch of 20 and 30 something's (even tho I'm in my 20's myself). I decided to stay and I was greeted by two lovely baristas behind the counter. They made me aware that they weren't ignoring me. They were extremely busy. Which is appreciated. The menu is small but there is a variety! This is a great hangout area to study, read, or catch up. My latte was absolutely delicious, presentation is beautiful and the ambiance of the place is overall relaxing and safe. Don't be fooled though, there are people of all ages that come. I made my grandmother come here with me! We had a great time. I will frequent this place often. Hopefully I can make some connections while there.

My wife suggested JoJo's Espresso to me - - I knew she had enjoyed her coffee dates with a friend, but I told her I need a place to eat, not just drink coffee. She assured me that the menu was more than enough also knowing that my friend and I like to have healthy options. I was not prepared completely for how unbelievable of an experience we had. The service was spot on. The layout is immaculate. And, even with a full restaurant by the time we were leaving, I could hear him (I oftentimes have trouble in public spots). I'll take pics of food next time! And their food menu is one that I could literally order anything and be happy with. This first trip I had a breakfast bowl.

Delightful little coffeeshop in Germantown! :)…read more I came here to refuel after attending a funeral and before transitioning to a family dinner. It's in a cute shopping center. A lot of the businesses seem quite busy, so parking is a little bit of a hassle, but not too bad. I rolled into a very nicely decorated, welcoming space. It's roomier than I expected with plenty of tables to work, eat, or gather. They offer coffee drinks, pastries, and even full breakfast and lunch - think sandwiches, fruit bowls, salads, waffles, etc. I made my way to the register. The young lady who took my order was effusively nice and very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her a little bit - apparently, neither one of us are from the Memphis area, haha. I ordered a latte of some sort (can't remember the exact name but it was their take on a biscoff cookie latte) and a muffin to go. I was able to make myself a quick complementary cup of cool water at the self-serve station as well as napkins, straws, etc. my order came out quickly. Overall, I was quite pleased. The muffin was loaded with chocolate chips and also had very pleasant notes of cinnamon and other warming spices. The latte had the perfect amount of ice in it and a discernible, fairly strong biscoff taste, which I enjoyed. My one main wish was that it been mixed a bit more before served; most of the syrup was at the bottom and came through in either gigantic overwhelming mouthfuls or not at all. However, that was a fairly easy remedy to render myself with a few good stirs of my straw. I'd say this visit is a 4.5. This coffee shop is close to my aunt's house and I will definitely return next time we visit the Memphis area. If quality remains consistent, it'll be an easy round up to a 5 next time. Thanks, JoJo's!
