Tous les Jours has quickly become one of my favorite bakery stops in Memphis. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast and were impressed from the moment we walked through the door. The bakery was clean, bright, and well organized, and the display cases were filled with fresh pastries and breads that made it difficult to choose just a few items. We decided to try a variety of pastries along with an iced mango smoothie and an iced lavender latte. The mango smoothie was refreshing, smooth, and packed with flavor. The lavender latte wasn't really for me, but that's not a knock on the bakery since Tous les Jours is known more for its baked goods than its coffee. The real stars of the visit were the pastries. Everything tasted fresh and had a light, fluffy texture. The standout item was easily the Ube Cloud Cream Donut. It was packed with ube filling and had the perfect balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. Every bite was loaded with flavor, which is exactly what you hope for when ordering a filled donut. We also tried the Custard Bun, Chocolate Cream Donut, Frank Pastries, and one of their signature breads. Everything was fresh, soft, and delicious. You could tell these items weren't sitting around all day waiting to be sold. The customer service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful while we made our selections. Overall, Tous les Jours delivers exactly what you want from a bakery: fresh products, great service, and plenty of variety. This bakery reminds me of a bakery I use to frequent in Atlanta. It was clean, bright and inviting. There are plenty of tables if you would like to eat your dessert there. The unique experience is that you have the option to walk around the dessert lockers, not sure the real term for it but this is the closest I could think of, and select as many desserts you would like. Most of their desserts are made with fresh fruits and not too sweet. There are so many options so you won't go wrong trying something new. The staff was really friendly at the checkout counter. Oh, I'm just in love with this place and I've only tried the macarons so far! Customer service was excellent and the place is set up nicely with plenty of seating. I stopped by just for a sweet treat, but I did not realize they had cases of fresh baked gourmet croissants and such. Everything looked delicious. I couldn't decide between the desserts. I almost got that strawberry tiramisu, but had to get the macarons when I saw them. They were delicious! So much flavor in each one. One of them was the rose macaron. Never had it before and surprisingly, it tasted like a rose, little perfume taste, but in a good way. I don't think I'd order it again, but it really wasn't bad. So glad to see this French Asian Bakery make its way to Memphis. Last time I had Tous Les Jours was 2019 in Chicago Chinatown. My wife and I dropped by here one evening after a movie. It was our first visit. We were impressed with the freshness of the baked foods available for purchase. Two of the cases were completely empty of products, but based on previous reviews, I expected that so late in the day. The service we received was a bit slow, but I imagine that the workers are fatigued after a long shift. We didn't dine inside, but rather took of order home with us. Finally got to try this!! They have a huge selection of pastries!! Croissants, round croissants, bagels, scones, muffins, donuts, waffles, cakes, and macrons! We tried a few different things and loved everything! They had sweet and savory items, and it looked like they had sold the majority of the savory items by 4pm. They have little trays with paper lining to put your pastries on and provide tongs to grab your selections. You pick one set of tongs and leave them with the cashier so they can be washed for the next guest. They also have some items behind glass that you request as you would in a typical bakery. They also have matcha, coffee, and hot chocolate. The cashier we had was very patient with us since we had never been before, and helped us organize our trays. I'm writing this review because what happened to my mom today truly upset me. She stops by this Tous Les Jours often, she buys plenty, and she is always kind and respectful. Today and any other previous visits, she bought A LOT bread and pastries, and she only asked for one small box so the bread could stay in shape, fluffy, and presentable - because she was planning to gift it to someone. That's it. Just a simple, reasonable request any decent bakery would gladly help with. But instead of helping her, the young girl working this morning refused to give even the smallest box and treated my mom with such a rude, dismissive attitude. This wasn't a misunderstanding, this is the second time this same employee has acted this way toward my mom. My mom might be quiet and gentle, but that does NOT give anyone the right to look down on her. What hurts the most is that my mom walked away feeling disrespected when she did nothing wrong. She wasn't asking for anything free. She wasn't demanding anything unreasonable. She just wanted the bread to stay in good shape because she was gifting it. Why was that so hard? Instead, everything was shoved into one tiny bag, careless and messy. It felt like they didn't value her time, her purchase, or her kindness at all. No customer, especially someone as patient and polite as my mom, deserves to be treated like this. Management needs to know what's happening at this location, because this behavior absolutely does NOT reflect good customer service or basic respect. We walked around to look at the limited items available and decided on the "crookie". It is a cross between a croissant and chocolate chip cookie. It sounded amazing! I am a fan of both but the combination did not do it for me. I tasted the croissant separately (heavenly) and the cookie separately (divine). But eaten together.....not my thing. The young lady working behind the counter said the cases should be stocked all day long but they are still learning. My wife read so many glowing reviews about TOUS les JOURS that we just had to make a visit. On Sunday, 06/29/25 after 3:00 pm, the place was packed; most tables were occupied, about 15 people were waiting for their drink orders, and we were tenth in line to place an order. When you visit, don't let the crowd discourage you. They have a very efficient operation and customers have their food and drink within 10-12 minutes of ordering. As a business consultant, whose done hundreds of process improvement projects, I was impressed with how efficient and personally engaging the staff was in this very busy bakery. I have visited Tous Les Jours in New York and Chicago, but happy to see one open in Memphis area. The selections are amazing and the service is fast and friendly. There is adequate dine-in space but convenient grab and go as well. I love the Korrokke, Curry Pan and Fruit Danish. Occasionally I grab the packed sandwiches. There a lot of hot and cold beverage items, so far I have tried the Matcha Latte and Cappuccino, and they are good!
