Awesome place. Went in to get optic was looking at the optics that were around 200+ which isn't crazy pricey but was then lead to the Sig Area....... Yes lady's and gentlemen there is a actual part in the store that is a store inside a store with just sig products. I said oh here we go getting ready with a excuse to tell my wife why I spent 500 on a optic and to my surprise i was lead to a 120$ red dot optic that has worked great!!!!! No up selling just pure helpful & honest advice. Will be definitely coming back and yes in this store you can still argue about why the 9mm should come with a dress and how the .40 is meant for us men. almost forgot when I was leaving walking to my truck I had to stop because they also have a indoor shooting range that only lets you shoot pistol calibers but hopefully they will upgrade to rifle calibers when they expand the range. My friend and her mom were looking for personal protection style guns and had been hesitant to go into any shops to get started. Another friend recommended The Hub so we went to check it out and inquire about classes and training. The two staff members we spoke to were courteous, knowledgeable and helpful, and made my friend and her mom feel comfortable getting started there. They are looking forward to doing some training and learning what type of guns are most comfortable for them. Paul Parks, Chief Instructor at The Hub Tucson is beyond amazing! His extreme knowledge, expertise, passion, and commitment to gun safety comes through with every sentence. I have taken the CCW class and one three hour one on one session to teach me how to handle, shoot and clean my handgun. His clear, concise, accurate instructions on the range helped me tremendously to give me confidence. From the first time door to purchase my first firearm, meeting with Michael to do a background check so that the purchase could be made. I was advised for future purchases to sign up for CCW class that way it will eliminate the background check needed to be done at every purchase.I signed up for not only for the CCW class but for the 101 Firearm class as well. I've taken a couple of courses with Paul now. I really appreciate his breadth of knowledge and ability to tailor training to my comfort and skill level; he is clearly an educator. I felt comfortable asking questions and enjoyed the progression of the class. I also appreciated the communication before and after the class. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff who always want to make sure you get the thing you're looking at before that other guy who was just there comes back to get it. First time going into The Hub on Jun 12, 2020. They had a large verity of choice firearms. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. I didn't get that, we don't want you here vibe. I just bought a Sig Sauer P365 and it was an excellent experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I was looking for a new EDC, something with more capacity than my Glock 27 and I definitely found it. I am terrible at remembering names but suffice it to say that my salesman was great, I truly enjoyed the interaction with him and everyone else in the store. This class is thorough and you learn everything about carrying a concealed weapon all the way down to the law and what you need to know and all of the do's and dont's. I was with my brother looking to purchase some ammunition and we werent greeted when we walked in and as the only 2 black people in the store we were approached by one of the store personal and he said we smelled like marijuana.
