Always my favorite coffee chain to stop by for, when in Havasu. Although lines may look long, they are usually quite fast as the baristas make drink orders quickly. The kind baristas offer great drink ideas/substitutions to create the drink of your dreams. I absolutely love that drinks can come with chocolate covered espresso beans. A literal treat for my treat. I recently had the pumpkin blended/frozen latte and I couldn't have been happier. Perfect balance of pumpkin (without being too sweet) and actual espresso. My husband had the Java chip and it was just as much a delight. Obviously these drinks are on the sweeter side, but still SO good. Can't wait for my next visit! read more

From outward appearances, due to recent experience and rumors it seems that prices have gone up and quality has taken a hit... In my experiences this kind of thing can be fatal, you can sometimes get away with doing one but usually not both. Tried out this location of human bean. Arrived early and lucked out with no line. We got 4 chocolate milks for the little kids in our group and 4 coffees - $37, not the worst. Lattes were flavored milk and too sweet, girl in the drive thru seemed weirded out at us asking for suggestions or what is popular, and they have like no options on the menu. Odd drive thru only set up with people running around inside. Skipping on human bean next trip! read more

I have had continuously stellar service regualarly, and so far this week it has been absolutely wonderful experiences... the perfect way to start out after a weekend away. There were recent scheduling changes which seem to be back to normal... for a regular it was I bit much happening out if the blue, but as is business and scheduling. Jordyn and Maddie are always on point and pleasant no matter the rush.. typically during a rush in the 5:30am - 6:30am window, and Macey for the return trip home in the afternoon arounf 4:30pm... the teams change up a bit which is fine, but a whole week got jumbled which messes with me. Lol. As always, great work to the teams.. I go enough that I know most everyone from the various locations one way or another. I think I reviewed this specific location a couple years ago at four stars, but it seems the service has gone down quite a bit. Revising my review now to two stars. Not only was this location out of protein add-ons for smoothies for about a week where I would go everyday and be let down by them saying they are still out of stock, but they also did not do the free signature bean on each drink, and ended up screwing up the orders 2/3 times I went. The wait was not long although it should have been considering the quality of this beverage! I ended up getting a chai tea latte with oat milk and it is amazing! It was my first time at a Human Bean and from the very first greeting I knew I would be returning. The young lady taking orders was very polite. The smiles were genuine. The service was fast and the upsell was successful! If you haven't tried the chocolate covered espresso beans...you know not what you're missing!! If I could give a zero I would. Not only was the location extremely slow the barista seemed annoyed the minute we pulled up to order our drinks. (Blonde girl with tattoos) I wish I caught her name. She didn't write anything down and took all 5 drinks by memory.. then started passing out the wrong drinks. When we told her they weren't correct we were met with attitude, I will say she did offer to give us the drink (we didn't need it) however the rude interaction continued. My husband just ended up not saying anything about his drink being wrong because of the absolute disgust and attitude from the barista. My family and I vacationed in Lake Havasu this past Memorial Day weekend. Vacation to me means I get to go boujee on the coffee everyday I'm on vacay. Unfortunately, there aren't many options in Lake Havasu for coffee! I drove a ways from our Airbnb for Human Bean and boy it did not disappoint! Drove up to the drive thru (there's one on each side and I'm not sure if you can walk up) and the nice gal took my order like a champ. I like my cup of Joe customized if I'm on vacay! It was delicious and price point wasn't bad either (cheaper than Starbucks IMO). Overall 5/5 and satisfied by "boujee" vacation coffee fein. read more

2nd disappointing experience at THIS location. About a year ago I got a bad latte so I walked back to the store (it's conveniently close to my home) and instead of remaking it for me as a courtesy, they charged me for the new drink. I emailed the store, and after several weeks, I received a reply from the manager, but he still didn't offer to make things right. Today, I knew better than to order their latte so I got a regular drip coffee with cream only. It tasted very watered down and had way too much cream. I kindly let the server know it tasted watered down and her reply was "we don't use water." I was referring to the process of brewing the coffee! Maybe she just makes the drinks and never brews the coffee!? She reluctantly gave me a 2nd cup, no apologies, not even a smile. She did offer a robotic "have a nice day" when I left. Also, does this location not offer doggie treats? Had the pup and, nothing. I've always enjoyed the dog treats at the other location and was excited to give my puppy a treat. This was my LAST time going to this location. So sad since like I said, it's literally walking distance from my home here. read more

We just visited the Human Bean and were in line and my mom got out of the car to empty our old drink trash for the new drinks. The girl asked if we were with the lady with the trash. We said yes. She told us she could not serve us because my mom was throwing trash all over the ground. We said what??? We looked up and my mom came around with all the trash in hand. When we called her on her lie she said, well she was yelling. My mom does not yell. The blond girl (we will call Karen) would not give us her name because she did not want get in trouble. The other girl working there said there is a trash can at the gas station. The blonde then slammed the window. I tried their coffee for the first time. I ordered one Irish Cream coffee and one latte (hot), both were excellent! The coffee was freshly brewed and was not bitter at all. The Irish cream was good but not too sweet. When a coffee drink is exceedingly sweet, it's usually to hide the poor quality of the coffee. We tried this place on vacation and will definitely be back. It was nice being able to pull the truck and boat through on the way to the launch without needing to make a separate trip in the car. The staff was super accommodating and came out to take our order so it would be ready by the time we got to the window and help the line move as well. They offered my husband a cookie on Father's Day and he was so happy about the small kind gesture. Both the snowy mocha and the mexi mocha were on point. I've Hurd their coffee is good but I have yet to try. The reason for the 2* is this. Drove through to grab a coffee for my drive home and pulled up to the window to have my order taken. All the lights were on and two employees where inside. Waited a good 10 minutes without being greeted. The employees looked over at me several times but never came to the window to talk to me. After waiting so long I pulled up their store house since they were not posted and say that the were closed for around 20 minutes now. Customer service is everything. Instead of being ignored and wasting my time sitting there the employees should have greeted me out of commend courtesy and just have let me know they where closed at that time. My wife and I got though this place every time we are at our Havasu place. We love their coffee and the amazing young staff who are exceptionally professional. Today, however, we had to wait behind another dog lover (which we don't mind because we know they love and serve dogs there) while an employee took lots of time to let the slobbering dog. And, gave the dogs some dog treats. That's not bad until, and I knew it was gonna happen, the employee went right back to making drinks without washing her hands. This is right after her hands were in the slobbering dogs mouth. No exaggeration. Hopefully that's not how all of them are. Gross. It almost spoiled one of my favorite places. I don't usually do reviews but when the service is this bad I had to post. I'm tempted to figure out who the owner is and let them know. I have been vacationing to Lake Havasu twice a year for several years. I have attended the other Human Bean coffee drive thru's in Havasu but I had never been to this location. The barista's were initially rude but not enough to keep our group from ordering for 11 of us. The guy took the first 4 orders and began working on them. I stood by and watched several cars (6 to 7 total) drive through and get their coffees and we still were waiting to give the rest of the orders. We thought maybe something broke as one of the baristas was just standing there not working on our orders. I asked if something was wrong, the guy stared and said a quick, "no". He asked if we didn't give all the orders and I let him know we still had 7 more. The guy continued to stand there. I asked the group if we did something wrong and our whole group was confused and frustrated. At 15 to 17 minutes we had still not given our other orders and the barista still hadn't given us the first 4. We ended up leaving and went to a great coffee shop, Dutch Brothers down the street. I will never return to this location again. That's a shame!! Hope this doesn't happen to another group. read more

The northside needed another coffee shop and I am so glad the Human Bean opened up! The drinks are handcrafted and always delicious. The staff is always friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there. The location is great because I can grab a coffee on my way out to the mall or coming back into town. The drive-thru has two sides, so you can pull up to either side for service. The drinks are always on point, no matter what I order. They make a great Irish Cream Breve and a fantastic iced Americano. Even their green tea smoothies are great! The best part is that they have a punch card and after 10 punches, you can get a free one. Wednesdays are double punch days, my favorite.
