I absolutely love how fast this location is at making quality drinks. While I prefer to mobile order and pick up in general, I've also ordered in store in the past. All of my experiences have been great, but the mobile experience has always been extra fast. Went inside because the drive thru was a little long. Worst idea, they took forever to make our 3 drinks. They prioritize the drive thru over the inside guests there was only us and two other folks inside. They cleared 3 cars then would work on one of the walk ins and then back to the drive thru. 20 minutes for 3 refreshers is ridiculous. Worst Attitude of any Starbucks ever in the United States. The female employee was shouting over the PA system and after being advised she raised her voice higher with obvious intention. Once at the drive thru window, the female worker at the window was nice, polite and kind. And provided me with one of the two cups of coffee I ordered. It was not the voice of the female employee shouting in the PA system. The female shouting over the PA system came to the window with the second cup. You could hear her destain for working with the public in the tone of her voice. She purposely and rudely shouted in a sarcastic voice, as a child would over and over. Nice words but twisted with her hatred in a sarcastic tone, "Have a nice day." Over and over, while she held my second cup of coffee hostage. Thoughts of did she do something to it. Is that why she's delivering it along with delivering the rotten customer service through her horrible attitude with customers. There was no reason for her impolite rude behavior, it was obviously intentional. White female probably late 30's looks late 60's, poorly died blonde hair with her dark trailer trash roots, overweight numerous tattoos scattered without any style. Shannon is absolutely amazing here! We ordered twice on door dash and the order got messed up and all I had to do was contact the Kiowa Starbucks and Shannon was so polite and corrected the order and also gave us two free gift cards for a coffee! We used the drive thru and there was a sign with the 'Kindness Rocks Project' for those painted rocks that are left at the drive thru window. I'm going to give this a two because they showed up to work this morning and that's about all they did. The girl that took my order could not have cared less about what I said what I looked like if I was looking at her or that I said good morning to her because she wasn't listening to me and did not respond to my greeting whatsoever.... She did not get my order right and I waited for about 15 minutes because the new girl spilled a bunch of drinks. Everybody else was cleaning it up and then when I got my order, YES, it was incorrect. This is pretty typical for this location. I'm not sure why I keep stopping here. I come in from out of town. It is the first location that I pass by on the way into town so I want something to drink before I get to my office here in Lake Havasu .... I will make sure from now on to never stop here again .... Consistently poor service..... and substandard quality .... I am tired of it ..... people pay $6 to $10 per drink and usually leave tips for these lousy people that don't even want to be here. Did Havasu really need another Starbucks? The general consensus was, "No... but it has a drive-thru!" Thus, the best part about this Starbucks is the drive-thru. I recently visited during their Frap Happy Hour and lo-and-behold, I used the drive-thru. The employee taking my order was really nice and helpful. (I asked about the new Midnight Mocha Frap.) He explained what it tastes like (an Andes mint) and that you can get it with a coffee base or with a cream base (he preferred cream). Since it was HH, I ordered a grande Midnight Mocha Frap with the cream base. The employee who took my money and gave me my drink was also very friendly. While the drive-thru wasn't that busy, it appeared busy inside since there were several cars parked out front and folks enjoying the patio. Despite how busy they seemed, the service was prompt. Overall, it's a brand-new Starbucks (with a drive-thru). read more

While in Lake Havasu for the weekend, we were at this Starbucks a couple times! This is one of the nicest and largest I have been in for a while. It was very clean! The service was excellent! very polite and professional. There was a belligerent lady waiting for her drinks, making a scene and embarrassing herself. The staff was able to fix the situation and handled it great! In fact the reason the lady was mad was absolutely ridiculous! She even stomped her feet like a child! It was hard not to laugh and tell her to relax!!! Hahahah! The drink orders were made just right! I was even surprised when I ordered my breakfast sandwich she told me they were half off that day! I'm so upset that I need to write this review. I love Starbucks. But this store is horrible. I went through the drive thru and ordered a kiwi star fruit refresher and a double smoked bacon sandwich. First of all the bottom of my sandwich was burnt and i couldn't even eat it. My drink had no inclusions and tasted watered down. Had I known they weren't going to add the inclusions or were out I wouldn't have ordered it. I asked the lady to scan my app so I could receive my stars and she ignored my request and continued on with my payment. I then reminded her and she stared at me like I was dumb and said oh sorry. We are regulars at the other starbucks (on Swanson) and were severely unimpressed with the new one. The wait time inside is 25 or more minutes, because of the heavy use at the drive thru. The inside is nice, but the wifi is pretty slow and hard to get much work done (struggles with any google applications). Hopefully they can improve their inside service to match their outside service. Drinks were average to below average compared the other one. Have gift card, will seek out Starbucks. Decided on this store as it was the larger available in Havasu. Staff was very friendly and the store was clean. The store was not very busy both times that I visited but I was served promptly. My hot beverage of choice was made as ordered and it was pretty close to perfect. The parking lot is a bit small but there are larger parking lots that connect to this one so no problems finding a place to park. I've used the drive thru here on my way to work quite a few times because it is more convenient than going to the one in Smiths. There is never a line in the drive thru at 7:30am.... but, the drinks are awful! I can't tell if its the coffee thats bad or the way the drink is prepared (I get a standard iced coffee with half and half and vanilla). I keep going back thinking they will have finally gotten it together, but nope. Here's to hoping they figure it out. read more
