I took the sculpt n' flow class with Kim and it was amazing! It was my first time ever doing hot pilates and Kim made me feel so welcome while also encouraging me to keep pushing through the workout. From the moment I arrived and checked in, the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. As a first timer, you can rent a yoga mat for free and after that I believe it's $3 to rent. This was such a great first experience for me and I will definitely be coming back for another class. Would 100% recommend

I've been under a lot of stress lately, and decided to try a relaxation class. I booked the reset 7:45pm class, and didn't know what to expect. The class was amazing, it wasn't too hot. It was a comfortable warm temperature with plants everywhere and incense burning. The music along with her instruction really allowed for deep breathing and relaxation at your own pace. I almost fell asleep during a few of the poses because of the comfortable and relaxing environment. This studio was very welcoming, and in no way judgmental. I will definitely come back. There's plenty of street parking, lockers, and towels/mats/socks to rent or purchase.

Had an amazing experience here at this studio. First time and may I say what a treat. Beautiful space, awesome community there, instructors and owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. 10/10 recommend. I fly and look for new studios on layovers and this will definitely be my spot for my LAX layovers. Thank you for being amazing, I plan on brining more crew in the future. The cold plunge was awesome, the courtyard space, the shower! Next time I'll be using the sauna as well. Mahalo!

Hello, My friend recommended Hot Pilates, and let me tell you all about it. First off the place and the setting, I love how they have plants everywhere. It's such a earth vibe, the vibes were amazing. The instructor (Devan) was amazing as well, this was My first time doing hot Pilates, I don't work out much. But my session was amazing, they have a cold plunge tub and we decided to give it a try. I truly recommend coming here. I met new people, Brad was very patient and he talked me through the cold plunge. 10/10. I will be going back !!

I tried the Rest & Reset - we're packed in like sardines but made it work. Kinda cramped together but it was fine because we don't move much in this class. It was just what I needed after work! We focused on holding poses and releasing tension. The open outdoorsy classroom and dark lighting created a soothing environment. Instructor was super friendly. Street parking wasn't an issue for the 7:45pm class.

I've been on the search for a local yoga / pilates studio and boy am I so excited I found this one! I've tried a handful of classes and I'm never disappointed with them. I highly recommend dropping by for a class, it's my favorite way to kickstart my weekends!

I'd had a bad experience at the Pasadena studio with a girl named Megan, so I decided to try a different location, and I'm so glad I did. This studio is waaaay cleaner. The mat towels smelled fresh, everything felt sanitized, and the space was clearly well taken care of. My instructor, Jimmy, delivered an amazing workout, he incorporated moves I've never seen before and actually walked around correcting form, which is rare in larger fitness classes. He was fun, energetic, and really set the tone. Playlist was baddie certified! LOVED him! I also appreciated how well maintained everything was, soaps fully stocked, cozy studio rooms, and an overall vibe that felt intentional and inviting. I think this might be my new go to location. I don't even mind the drive :)

I'd probably avoid this particular location moving forward though, that's all.

It's hard to find a good yoga place in LA that isn't intimidating and is welcoming to people who don't look like the "stereotypical" yoga goddess. I love coming to class and seeing all the diversity in the room sweating it out together - that's what yoga should be about. Shout out to Gabby who's my favorite instructor there! She was so charming and friendly and really made everyone comfortable. She made the class!!! She was a wonderful teacher who made learning easy and enjoyable. I would love to come back but it is quite expensive. Probably good for a treat! The overall studio is very pretty and aesthetic. The aerial room was a bit tight but did the job! Loved the openness of everything. The entrance and signing into the class was a bit messy and hectic, the entrance was under construction and the man at the front handing out the waivers and such seemed a bit overwhelmed. Didn't feel super welcoming. Streamlining and organizing this section would def help put clients more at ease since I was starting to doubt the class in the beginning.-BE SURE TO BRING A YOGA MAT! Otherwise you'll have to pay $4 to rent one. -The overall class was 10 minutes of warmup, 30 min lesson, and then 10 minutes of free time to record and practice what you just learned. -The AERIAL DANCE INTRO CLASS was a great class for those who have never done aerial or those who haven't done it in years. But even before I get to the class, the entry entryway and the vibe of the whole place is off because it's so worn out. i'm scared the fabric will fall off the hook and it's extremely smelly and overall unstable and worn out looking- not sure if i can trust the hanging to support me but that's the attorney in me talking. everything i see seems like a liability, especially their old hooks and the way the instructor walks around with a huge ladder in a crowded class. Next the class itself- instructor spent majority of the time making us stretch and adjusting our fabric. it was such a waste of time. don't do it if you're trying to get a workout in.

I highly recommend trying and combining each instructor and the various classes provided at yoga circle for a wholistic practice. The three very unique teachers that have distinguished styles are Knekoh, Jacqui, and Rob. I love all three and each teacher serves a precise purpose to my yoga practice. Knekoh for my mindful meditation, Jacqui for a concentration of the body, and Rob for spiritual awakening. The other instructors are also great and are generally a hybrid of these three. If you're up for the challenge, source Yoga Circle as your place to complete the 200 hour yoga teacher training. I was in the 2020 class with Knekoh and Rob. Yoga Circle did a tremendous job at switching from real life training to virtual training. The quickness of the transition was impressive. It's so easy to hate on DTLA. Young, crowded, and seemingly in the midst of a perpetual identity…read morecrisis, the question that usually arises is about community. Is there really a sense of community in DTLA? Or is it just a frenzied mass of developers fighting for parking lots to turn into loft apartments, businesses fighting for customers, and people who recently moved to the area fighting for...goth ice cream? Until recently, my answer would have been no. No, I didn't believe that there was a sense of community in DTLA. Not like you'd experience in Brooklyn, or Portland or elsewhere. A yoga class I took yesterday at Yoga Circle has changed my mind. A friend and I went to YCD for a Sunday evening class. Steven was the teacher, and his calm demeanor was instantly welcoming. I got settled in and noticed something different: Steven was doing all of the moves he was instructing the 7-person class to do himself. Apparently this is how they approach things at Yoga Circle. And it really helped me understand the poses. I'm a visual learner and knowing that you can watch the teacher practicing makes it unnecessary to find someone to watch in the class. I found that I could go deeper into my own practice because of this. The room was pretty special too. I'm generally quite skeptical of any comparisons between DTLA and New York, but between the high ceilings, worn but wonderful floors and the fire escape view out of a high window, I really felt like I was in the bottom floor of a building in Crown Heights, with the city swirling outside. The class was anything but easy: 90 minutes, about 40% beyond my experience level and rather fast-paced, but I think I did pretty well. I'm sore today but I feel energized and I slept incredibly soundly. Steven, thank you for such a great class, and Yoga Circle Downtown, thank you for creating such a great space to practice. I'll be back. There is a sense of community at Yoga Circle -- and from what I've recently experienced, in DTLA -- that I'd love to be a part of again. Side note -- For people who think that they can't afford yoga classes, apparently Yoga Circle has a donation-based / sliding scale system.
