I went in to get our party of 4 on the waitlist, asked a server if that could be accomplished and she disappeared for 10 minutes. I flagged her down and asked again and had to write our name down on the clipboard myself. The wait was about 20 minutes at 1PM, and there was a continual stream of customers and people waiting all the time we were lunching. The menu is small but has some good stuff on it. I ordered the fish & chips, which was pretty good, though the breading was a bit heavy for my taste. The fries were excellent. The the boysenberry pie arrived (see photo). Ahhh, desert nirvana. My companions had not tasted boysenberry before, as none were from Oregon. They judged it heavenly. Nice place to stop, but be prepared for a wait.

The squishy bun and smashed burger was excellent. I'm not a big fan of onion rings, but these were the best I've tasted. Crunchy, thick coating that didn't slip off when you bit into it. Great flavor on the meat. For me it's all about that first bite and how does it taste. Scoops meat is excellent. The fries were good, but I wished they weren't cook as well as I got. I prefer a lighter cook on my fries. It was a big serving. The service was great and very friendly. I wished I had had room for a milkshake. I will definitely eat at Scoops again. Don't change a thing. You're giving excellent burgers and service at a good price.
