Old school local bar with lots of locals
    Marsha S.

We were looking for an easy dinner on our roadtrip. The Igloo was perfect- we each had a ribeye dinner and it was very good for the price. The owners were the servers (and cooks, I think!), and they were super nice. Lots of locals drinking beer and playing pull tabs. Will return if in the area

Decent burger. More as a regular drinking bar and playing Pull tab

Decent burger. People like to come to play pull tab at this bar. Family own business.

    Burger dip and shoestring fries.

Came here for lunch a few weeks ago. The food was great and fantastic pricing for what you got. The service was also quick. Smaller place but I like the nostalgia to it. Full bar and plenty of parking.

I will start with this is not the place for everybody..... but if you like a good locals place, a dive bar where everyone is welcome, where the fixtures are older than you are, and your tab will not break the bank.... this is for you! We are from the west side and Wenatchee feels like our east side second home - we visit often and had been searching for this kind of place that would make us feel like we were at home and we found it! Great attentive service with great drinks and great prices. We had 2 mugs of beer and 2 well drinks and our tab was only $13! Next visit we are trying some bar food!

Good food, good service an the drinks were super inexpensive. We would go again for sure!

Always cold beer and great staff, one of my favorite stops when I'm over there for the night and I love the good ol home town local feeling even tho I'm not but they treat ya like you are I love it

    Best pull tabs in town.

Terrible service. Bartenders act like you're inconveniencing them by being there. Don't give them your time or money.

The beer princes are great. The atmosphere is local pub. Great place, one of our faves. It's what you would expect from a local dive bar.

After going to 2 places that could not fit us in, we decided just to come here to eat as well as drinks. This place was dead but could get us all in. The server rocked it. She made sure we were looked after. Food came out in a few different groups considering the size of our group. All in all it was all good except my fries were overcooked. Still I was impressed by the service and that there was plenty of room for us to all celebrate. Thank you to thre server who never looked frustrated by the amount of drinks we kept her on her toes with constant getting us.

Uncooked hash browns, cold prime rib Dip. We waited almost an hour to get our food which sucked. Our server would hardly check on us and when she did she would only come by to pick up the table and didn't ask us what she could get for us. My friends got charged $1.50 on top of The cost of their bud light every time they asked for it to be red. They disputed the price and the server threatened to call the cops on them. The server also said "well you've obviously had too many beers because you don't know what you're talking about!" Number one, if she had too many beers ( which she didn't she only had three) it would be the servers fault. And number two she called my friend a bitch. Who says that?! What kind of a place let's this happen?! What a joke. On top of everything she got the bill completely wrong just a really bad experience all together. I go out to eat a lot but will never go back here nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

All the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The tomato bisque was exceptional! Terry, the cook, came out and said hello, asking me how I liked the meal. I let him know that I'm a trained chef, and his meal was fabulous! The waitress said he's worked there for 15 years, that his specialty is prime rib, served every Saturday. I will definitely be back for that. This bar has been here 85 years, and I moved here 30 years ago but had never been here till this evening. I'm guessing the food here is better than most of the restaurants in Wenatchee. The decor is plain and simple. The ambience is what you would expect in a local bar with a long history and a loyal local clientele. Nonetheless, the service was excellent and the staff was friendly. Even being charged a 4% credit card processing fee, food pricing is better than other restaurants. So are the quality and portion sizes. New tables and chairs with cushioned seating fill two dining rooms. And there is plenty of offstreet parking. All things considered, it's worth the 20 minute drive from Wenatchee down to Rock Island, just to enjoy the food and the drinks. I don't think anyone gets turned away here. What's not to like? This was a five star experience for me.

Moldy raspberries and mushy blueberries....do better with quality control. Sausage gravy can either make or break a breakfast meal. They use a nasty powder gravy mix that they added a little sausage to....this was horrendous. Anyone who would disagree has no taste buds. Bacon, sausage links, scrambled eggs, biscuits. In addition to a casserole with all these same things was overkill. adding some crepes and/or quiches to the menu would be nice. Lastly, tell your customers that you charge a credit card transaction fee. I hope you have signs posted but we didn't notice any.

With relatively low expectations, we went in and looked at the menu and found items we could both order. I got the prime rib and my husband got the Viking Burger. He thought the burger was solidly good. I thought the prime rib was too - slightly over medium, I should have ordered medium rare. A TON OF FOOD. Biggest surprise was the baked potato had a garlic butter - never thought of that and boy was it delicious. I don't really ever eat a potato side - I'll either ask for it to be omitted or maybe take a bite or two. It was delicious. This place is good solid Americana food. Nothing fancy, big portions. For what it was I'd say it's about as good as you can get. Service was also great too!
