After being busy with work and with my initial move, I finally found the time to search for a place to get my brows threaded and Brazilian wax--it would be awesome if I saw them in one place--sure enough, I did! That was when I found this fantastic place! It is a few minute drive from my house, so it's even more convenient to make an appointment whenever possible! Once you make an appointment, the owner, Sujita, will confirm your appointment and send you instructions on finding the location (which was easy, if I add.) She has varieties of services, from brows, facial treatment to waxing. As for me, I booked a session for eyebrow threading and Brazilian wax, as they're the monthly maintenance things I have to do (lol). Upon arrival at the beauty shop, Sujita was welcoming and instructed me on what needed to get in order: eyebrow threading and the waxing session. I love the way she meticulously took her time to shape my brows that fit my facial structure. My brows have been running wild like I'm from the Amazon. Then for the Brazilian wax, she was very professional and took her time to make sure every little hair strand was gone (front and back, if you know what I mean) When you book a service through this establishment, you will see the time allocated for each service, which is excellent information. You do not want to get your Brazilian wax in 10 minutes (which most places are) because there is a chance of skin trauma, skin tear, and more during the hassle of waxing on your private area. We do not want that. I highly recommend this place for first-timer thinking of getting their Brazilian wax. It would be best if you had a place to get your wax who are not rushing you to deal with new pain from waxing. Brazilian wax is terrific, and I would hate for first-timers to have a bad experience and cross it off from their life (lol) As for the well seasoned ladies or gentlemen, this is the spot :) I'll leave my review and thoughts about this place here.

If you book a microblading service with Katy at Feather and Blade, you will find the answer to that question. I scheduled my microblading appointment back in March...and then COVID hit and shut everything down, pushing my appointment back. Which, public health obviously matters more than my eyebrows, so no biggie. Finally, I was re-scheduled for early September and I was PUMPED. Even better, Katy honored the original price I paid months before. The day of my appointment, I arrived a few minutes early. The main door is locked so people can't just willy-nilly wander in. Katy was busy cleaning off the table and the surrounding space and I waited outside. After she finished cleaning, she let me into the building. The flow of the space is so relaxing and inviting. I immediately felt at ease. She got a before picture of my eyebrows (any other millennials go through a phase in the early 2000s where you over plucked your eyebrows and they never grew back? Yeahhhh) and then we talked about expectations. I honestly hadn't thought too much about my brows other than knowing I needed them. I knew what I didn't like and told Katy that and some other nonsense that probably wouldn't have made sense to a normal human, but Katy rocks and knew exactly what I meant. She mapped out my new brow shape, talking me through the process and getting my approval with every step. She numbed my brows before beginning any actual work, definitely helped take away some of the sting. The pain level was minimal regardless, plus she talks to you during to keep your mind off it. The attention to detail Katy applies to her craft is amazing. She's done over 800 brows and actively listens to her clients. I felt 100% comfortable with letting her do her magic. She is an artist. I had my sister's eyebrows done some place else, and I was horrified that the individual did not take the time to really "plan" the layout well.
