This place is amazing, it's a real madras-terpiece! A family owned grocery store for your Indian essentials from a great frozen selection to many herbs and spices to choose from. The owners were so nice and inviting. They gave us many recommendations. I hope to be back soon.

A GEM of an Indian grocery store!! They have everything you can dream of and more! The variety here is unmatched. The owners and people that work there and so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. And with inflation being so high right now, the prices of products here are so reasonable. The store is so clean and organized. If you are in the area, this place is worth the visit! They also have fresh hot samosas!!

First time coming here 3/30/22. Been passing by this place so many times. I heard from a fellow colleague that this pantry sells samosa! Come by early to get some before 2-3 before it is sold out! Definitely will return! The samosa are fire! Thanks!

The Galería Market in Chino Hills is not your average grocery store--it's an Asian market fever…read moredream where every aisle is a plot twist. Walk in and you'll find produce stacked like art, noodles in more flavors than you knew existed, and a seafood section that stares right back at you. It's not shopping--it's adventure tourism with a cart. The butcher section is wicked. Epic cuts of pork, beef, and chicken, plus fish so fresh you half expect them to file a complaint. And then there's the live tank--yes, with frogs. One was eyeing me so hard I almost named him Kermit and staged a jailbreak. You don't expect an existential crisis in the seafood aisle, but here we are. The vibe? Peak Asian market chaos: families on missions, carts stacked to the sky, and the glorious hum of a dozen languages mixing together. Prices are sharp, service is quick, and the variety makes you laugh at how boring regular supermarkets feel. Where else can you grab dragon fruit, live crab, and Pocky in one trip? Kermit isn't just live--he's live entertainment. This isn't a grocery store--it's a reality show with soy sauce. Galería Market is savage-level awesome. Huge selection, unbeatable butcher counter, and a live seafood section that doubles as theater. It's not just shopping--it's comedy, chaos, and culture all rolled into one.

3.5 stars Funnily…read moreenough, I never knew that there was an H Mart in Chino, or rather existed in-between Sam's Club and Kohls! I visit this plaza often due to Sam's Club, but rarely drive in the plaza towards Kohls so I was surprised when my friend told me the other week. I needed to head to both Kohls and Sam's Club for errands and stopped by H Mart to grab a few items. I am spoiled by the H Mart in Diamond Bar (DB), so I was expecting something along the same lines but it was a bit different in this location. It is cleaner but some of the produce and fruit were not as fresh as the DB location. Also, there was an entire fridge aisle of alcohol drinks! That sure was a sight to see, since I do not ever recall seeing that in the DB location, or at least not that close to the entrance, let alone across from the produce and fruit. We did see a worker throwing out prepared food, so they must be clearing out already prepared food halfway through the day or something because we were surprised as it was still early afternoon. We do not recommend purchasing the prepped sweet potato here as they are dry and hard, not as fresh as the DB location. We were able to find what we needed and were on our way. The lines to the cashier are very short so it is convenient, as compared to the lines at the DB location, along with the always busy parking lot. This location is a bit smaller than others and also a bit pricier, probably due to the location. Overall, it is convenient if one is in the area and need a few items, but this would not be my main H Mart to shop at.

I get giddy when I find little treasures such as this. I had originally bookmarked this little…read moremarket because of their empanadas, but I found so much more. The market is small and cramped and packed to the gills with Latin American and Spanish goods. They have good looking produce, a nice big butchery, multiple freezers and refrigerators filled with specialty items that will make your brain work on overtime. The way the deli works for buying their prepared food is different from some. You must first place your order at the back counter. You will receive an itemized ticket which you must take up front to the cashier. Then, you return to the back to show your proof of purchase receipt and then you get your food, bagged and ready. The total wait for us was about 10 - 15 minutes, not bad. I get it, why they have to do it this way, but it is time consuming and inconvenient at best. We did get some empanadas. They are fried, not baked, so have an extra good crunch with every bite. There are two ground beef fillings, i.e. two different recipes. Three were the wonderful filling that has green olives (my favorite), and one that was described as spicy beef (that really was not all that spicy). Both were delicious, and their dough was flaky. This could easily become one of my favorite destinations for a reliable empanada. Besides the deli empanadas, there was a nice selection of empanada disc's (round pastry wrappers) in the freezer section if you are inclined to make and stuff them yourself, and frozen empanadas made by Goya in yet another freezer. I also convinced myself I needed to buy two tamales. One Guatemalan, the other Peruvian. These are sold frozen and are ordered at the deli counter. Haven't tried them yet, but I am excited because they are not so easy to find. Other products that caught my eye included a fascinating collection of sausages, chorizo, morcilla (blood sausage), Spanish linguiça, Spanish chorizo, smoked meats (Corte's brand), smoked herring, quail eggs, and other imported delicacies. Perhaps I will not need to drive all the way to La Española in Harbor City anymore for Spanish imports? They sell a very comprehensive list of Goya brand products and prepared foods. I grabbed a bag of ready to eat sweet plantains from the freezer as well. All so tempting. By the time I had perused the whole store and was headed to the cashier, my guard was completely down. There it was... freshly baked goods critically placed next to the cashier so you can't miss them. Soft crust baguettes and rolls in baskets, and small, sweet pastries and cookies in their bakery case. There were several pastries that looked very special, some featuring custard or quince filling. We, of course, had to buy some. I have already tested the one filled with the quince and topped with finely grated coconut. It was outstanding, not very sweet. The dough was lightly brushed with egg yolk for a rich, beautiful finish. These were super fresh and very tender. The baked goods are delivered fresh from an Argentinian bakery in Burbank. This is a great find! Not your usual small neighborhood grocery. I am very excited to return.

Parking is easy in the shopping center's lot. We specifically stopped in to buy a premium Argentinean butter that my wife was looking for. The young woman working at the cash register had an off-putting attitude when we asked about it and said that they were out of stock. We continued shopping and upon check out, an older gentleman (the owner, I believe) said that they did have it and went to the back and brought several out to my wife. Happiness was restored! They also had the Goya brand olives which we love, but other larger stores are no longer carrying. We also picked up some thin sliced Jamon Serrano for our next wine tasting charcuterie board. Overall, a nice little market, not too close to us, but if we lived nearby, I'm sure we'd visit regularly.
