Very interesting grocery store. all the things you need. Wide variety. I tried their restaurant in the back. I had fried calamari mild spicy was added.

Interior --Produce Department

This is the smallest 99 Ranch Market I've shopped, but it's also one of the nicest. I like the fresh looking industrial design, and the airy feel. Shelves seem to be well stocked, and the seafood looks fresh. The Produce Department is very small with limited selection. Food Court and Retail space is mostly vacant, unrelated. There are both cashiers and self-service checkouts.

This is a fascinating food hall that is in the 99 ranch market. There are quite a few restaurants mostly Asian and Asian fusion. There is a bbq restaurant but it looked like an Asian fusion more than bbq. Online it shows that there is a burger stall but it looked like a couple were closed/ empty. We settled on Gochoo and it was great. I loved loved the yakisoba beef ( you can tweak the order how you like it no onions, yes in spicey... etc). The kimchi bulgolgi fries were also good with a good amount of heat. The food was cooked fresh and decently fast. The decor was a little plain like a food court, but the food is why you go. Enjoy.

Shrimp chips

Went to this location cause the one closest to me in Eastvale doesn't have these shrimp chip flavors and also my green tea brand. This location does! Store is clean as well. Will have to drive to this one even though is further just to get what I need cause they have it and nor the Eastvale location!

Mango and peach

Finally got a chance to try these trendy ice cream. I thought the inside is made with peach ice cream, but it is just vanilla ice cream and that is shaped like a peach. Nice design.

SRIRACHA!!!! Limit ONE per customer
Jennifer C.

Huy Fong Foods SRIRACHA is back on the shelves!!! I was so happy to see this today, I had to grab a bottle! Unfortunately, it's limit ONE per customer and $9.99. With all the other knockoffs in stores, nothing can compare to the original! As for shopping at Cravings, it is very clean, fully stocked and organized. The workers at the registers don't speak at all, so if you like shopping in silence, this place is perfect! lol

Cravings is a mini food hall started in Oct 2018. Even though the giant store sign lists Cravings as "market food hall", it has more of your typical food court vibe because the entire space is also split with 99 Ranch Market. In fact this "food hall" reminds me of Mitsuwa food courts except Cravings aren't limited to just Japanese cuisine. [Parking]: Not a popular plaza so parking was a breeze. [Vendors]: Really sad - there were just three options when our party arrived on Saturday noon: Madbun, Oi Asian Fusion, and Pop Pot. What happened to Pinky Promise Pátisserie, Dos Chinos, Cauldron Ice Cream, Tenori, Red Envelope, Wingman Kitchen, Beleaf Burgers, and Shomi Noods? Closed, closed, closed, closed, closed, closed, closed, and closed. Bar (Piju Social Hour) was closed on Saturday noon and few empty counters have "coming soon" signs. [Amenity] Restrooms are available. Gacha machines (aka gashapon machines) are located near the front entrance. There are plenty of indoor seats with no outdoor dining area. This is perhaps the saddest modern food hall I have ever visited in Southern California. Luckily the remaining three vendors got some pretty solid food so they are the only saving grace about this place.

FIRST timer visit: Spacious food court connected to 99 Ranch inside * FARES... feasted on:   *** Madbun   *** Oi Fusion * FRIENDLY... service at both shops * FRESH... air and plenty of seating * FAIR... pricing, accepts credit cards * FREE... parking in large lot THREE stars *** Not sure if it's due to pandemic, but there was only 4 shops open and running (only 3 offering meal options), with the rest either shuttered or out of business... NGL, it looked kinda sad

This is my go to place when it comes to Asian groceries or Japanese to be specific. You can find everything you need to make your own sushi at home! I was there today, always clean and organized, the only downside is that most employees don't speak or understand English very well but overall a nice place to go when looking for Asian ingredients. Will continue to bring my business here!

Pork bowl
Alexandra L.

Got a pork bowl and fries. Pretty good! Meat crispy and sliced well Only thing is there was a little too much sauce for my liking Nothing wrong with the fries Would come again

Been wanting to check this place out for years. There are a few options here, I actually thought there would be more but the ones they have are really good. I love the Hainan Chicken Rice, Krapow Thai, and pretty soon there will be FILL mochi donuts. I don't know if the boba place there is shutting down or is opening but it wasn't open so I don't know the story behind that one.

very good and is on sale now for $1.08

There was a live music band that started playing at 9pm and the voices of the lady and the man were very impressive. To the Filipino folks, this really brought a sense of home!!! The food portions here feel small and more like bites, until you get an entree. The pad see-ew was large and filling! Super delicious and so good to chew and savor. We were all pretty sad that they were out of pork jerky and the pork BBQ ribs, but my friends tried out a BBQ chicken plate instead and the rice accompanying the place was delicious and flavorful also while the chicken was juicy. The 2 for $__ happy hour drinks are also a delight. Strong and hits the spot, but also can be juice-like depending on what you pick. I was feeling very good about the drinks I got (Blue Hawaii, had a coconut type taste to the juicy drink) and Sex on the Beach or Pool Table . Hahaha I forgot the name of the other drinks but they are funny and unique! The bar area can get full because there's like one or two bartenders so there may be a wait, but nothing too bad. Plus with music to listen to, it's a nice feeling. TVs also play some sports too inside.

We haven't been year for years so we ended up ordering more than what 3 adults and 2 kids could handle. The price point per dish was fair for the portion size you receive. Everything came out delicious. Stand out items for me was the lamb stew noodles. Generous meat portions and good quality lamb. So soft and delicious. Great flavor on the soup. We used it to dip our green onion pie. Tasted like an Asian version of "consume" that normally comes with your birria tacos. Also, the green onion lamb. Delicious lamb meat well paired with a ton of green onions. *don't forget your gum or oral hygiene before going on a hot date. Da Pan Ji (Sauteed Spicy Chicken Hand Pulled Noodles):…read more Sauce....is ok. Chicken...is dry and old. Dish Highlights: Pulled Noodles was good, great bounce, great texture, real hand pulled noodles. Dish Improvement: Needs more Anise, a slight bit more rock sugar, cinnamon cloves, fennel, maybe velvet the chicken wings and thighs before stir frying....baking soda + starch? Needs some Ghost Pepper Powder for the kick, and probably some oyster sauce rather than just regular and dark soy sauce. Mung Bean Smoothie: perfect, made to my specs, 20% sugar. Just right. This is my second time here. I drove my rig into the plaza after coming back from my Sacramento dispatch trip. Last time I had the beef tripe noodles (B+) not bad, but worth an order. I had their lamb skewers the first time around...not on my recommend list, you'll do better at any of those skewer places in City of Industry along Gale Ave and Frank and Sons. I had there Rou Jia Mou Meat Hamburgers from what I remember, maybe because I was too full, I didn't finish it, and disregarded packing my bun togo...so that being said, the Rou Jia Mou was pretty mediocre. Nice interior though, very cafe like. Last thoughts: to be honest, for the last two times in the plaza, I was prioritizing the buffet place next door, but somehow always end up here at Changan.... probably the overall menu, vibe here feels more authentic....at least that's the vibe you get seeing a bunch of random Chinese FOBs popping in here at Ontario, CA when most of these folks predominantly live in Chino, Eastvale, Chino Hills, Maybe Rancho, and see definitely more East Los Angeles. Think I had their pot stickers last time, was pretty good from memory. Why the three stars? Because I feel I can make better 大盤雞 Da Pan Ji at home minus the hand pulled noodles and the overall quality of food is probably comparable to say Hong Kong Macau Restaurant Cafe in Rowland Heights, you get off work, you don't know what to eat, you find a place that serves local, street culture Chinese food but it's not that great, but hey, we say that about McDonalds, and we still pick up a Quarter Pounder every now and then.

Ambiance/Environment: We had a group of 11, and they were able to immediately seat us. It wasn't busy for a Tuesday night. They have a small space with a decent amount of indoor seating. It's a casual ambiance and not too loud. Service: We didn't catch his name, but the server that assisted us was courteous and efficient. He checked on us a few times and refilled our waters. Our food also came out quickly after ordering. Food & drinks: Each of us ordered food to share. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken and iced Thai tea. The Pad Thai came out steaming hot and seasoned well. The chicken was cooked deliciously. I didn't get any spice because I can't handle Thai spiciness lol. The portions sizes are more than enough for two people. I thought the Thai tea was good, but I prefer equal portions of creamer and tea. Their version was stronger with less creamer. I also tried the Fried Rice with shrimp. My other family members ordered this medium spicy. Iykyk, Thai spice levels are spicccyyy. I still really enjoyed the fried rice! Pricing: Average prices nowadays. All their dishes tasted authentic! We'd definitely visit again when we're in the area.

More like 3.5 and this review is strictly for an UberEats delivery…read more We ordered the boat noodle and Panang Curry. The panang curry is actually 4 stars, as it's very rich in that authentic Thai curry flavor. It's packed with peppers and chicken along with a side of rice which we appreciate. I would order again if I'm just ordering curry. Moving on to the boat noodle. It's hard to find authentic boat noodle in the area so I didn't have much expectations but high hopes that this place can be a normal go to. However it's not. The boat noodle broth was not rich nor dark-- it's more like a tangy with notes of tomato, in a sort of light golden brown hue. The beef was extremely tough, almost impossible to chew. There were 0 beef balls, no variations of Chinese celery or morning glory. Instead you get green onions/cilantro. They did have bean sprouts though. However this is not a boat noodle; it should be renamed to Beef noodle soup. The noodle did have some pork grind crumbs which I appreciate. I'm pretty sure they don't use pork blood in their soup base as the broth wasn't thick, dark nor rich. Maybe it's to cater to the customers preferences in this specific area, I'm not sure. So I give this representation of a "boat noodle" a 2 stars. I also requested they put some chili vinegar sauce on the side but they didn't so they must not have it or forgot.

The Bottom Line Up Front: This is not a restaurant or…read morefarmers market but rather a Buddhist temple -- or rather the site of a future temple. Organizers are raising funds to build a larger facility by hosting a Thai food market of sorts from Sunday morning to about 3 p.m. Select dishes and drinks from a variety of Thai food vendors, get a glimpse of Buddhism, and enjoy the great outdoors all at the same time. The Setup: Similar to a state fair, you exchange your cash for tokens then use those tokens to pay the food vendors. Don't worry, there's no funky conversion rate to trick you like at some carnivals. Here a Jackson gets you a $20 token, a Hamilton gets you a $10 token, etc. The Food: It's not a huge place like the 626 Night Market; maybe 6 to 9 vendors total -- but there's more than enough to either get your Thai food fix or to explore different offerings if you're new to Southeast Asian cuisine. My wife got the boat noodles, which was standard. A solid amount was given, but the taste just didn't wow us. Still, she was satisfied with it. I wanted something unique and this Thai-American fusion stall kept catching my eye after I kept walking around indicisively for 10 minutes. So, I ordered the BBQ wings with Thai chili sauce and Thai-seasoned french fries. There were only 3 wings, but they were substantial in size and quite moist and tender. The seasoning was pretty understated, and I was hoping for more flavors. The fries took 15 minutes longer than expected and were still not super crispy. And like the wings, it lacked strong flavors. Overall, they were fine but a little underwhelming. I ended up dipping them in the wings sauce, and that elevated them quite a bit. Together, my wife and I shared mango sticky rice, which came in a big portion. We ended up eating it the next day and it was still tasty. The mangos were nice and ripe, while the coconut drizzle on the rice was mildly sweet -- a perfect balance. The Cost: All told, we spent $40 -- $10 for the boat noodles, $15 for the BBQ wings, $5 for the fries, and $10 for the mango sticky rice. At first, I thought that was kinda expensive for just above-average food, but then I remembered that if we had purchased the same things at a sit-down restaurant, we'd probably be paying $60 to $80 these days. So this was an affordable alternative. The best part? It's a donation to a worthy charity. The Setting: All of the vendor stalls and seating are outdoors. Picture handmade picnic tables and you get the idea. There's a good amount of seating, but if you get there after 12 p.m., it might be hard to get an open table with some tree shade. The Parking: The site is located along Chino Hills Parkway, tucked behind a row of trees and residential neighborhoods. If you don't slow down to spot Rustic Drive or the tiny sign the organizers posted at the intersection, you'll easily drive by without realizing it. Also, if you don't come well before noon, the paved parking lot gets filled up quickly, as does the very limited street parking. The Conclusion: If you go in looking for top-of-the-line Thai food, you'll be disappointed. But if you go in looking for a fun outdoor dining experience and to support a good cause, you'll enjoy this market as much as I did.
