Here, enjoy this gift" Well upon wandering with my boyfriend's mom (An OBX local) she recommended we wander into Urban Cottage. She knows my love for home furnishings and high end pieces and figured this would be my thing. And it totally was. Some of the most gorgeous pieces I have come across and they all were so whimsical and effortless. Such a great store. Their candle stick holders and chandeliers were to die for. If i had some extra chump change, I would definitely make some hefty purchases here. I have visited all of the locations including most recently, the Duck store. Like the flagship store in Jarvisburg and the other locations, the Duck location is a multi-level maze of little rooms full of fun stuff. When I was a kid I remember The Cotton Gin having lots of boring cotton stuff - bedspreads, runners, placemats, towels and such. As an adult, I appreciate all of the nice quality cotton products they carry and I love shopping the other merchandise they carry. The Cotton Gin carries a fun variety of stuff from clothing, housewares, ornaments, home decor, souvenirs, jewelry and such.
