I think Italian Market is a posh-looking place. Judging from the outside at least. I usually pass it by after watching movies with friends or alone and I always assumed the prices were sky-high, like maybe Php 1500 per head. I was wrong, as it turns out. They have small plates for around Php 280 to Php 400, and wood-fired pizzas for around the same amount. If you're ordering premium steak meals or maybe even lobsters, the range is around Php 500 - Php 750, which isn't really bad. If you want pasta you can order a plate for Php 300 and up. You see, they might be twenty or fifty pesos more than you would pay per plate at your favorite Italian resto, but considering the place, it's not really much of a difference.
I'm a small eater and I was alone when I went here so I only ordered iced tea and the Green Pie. It's basically a wood-fired pizza topped with spinach, smoked ham, Gruyere cheese and maybe something else I'm not aware of. I got it for Php 360, which is good for 1-2 people. Or maybe just one, if you spent the past several hours seated in a dark, cold room watching your new davorite movie. read more
