The office staff is so friendly and helpful, and maintenance is on top of their game! Any time I need something, Amber, Endy, and Brayden come to my rescue right away. The Jameson has been the upmost supreme. I have lived here for about three and half months. I believe it is the hidden gem in this part of Fort Worth. There are a lot of apartments in the area, but this one continues to stand out as the cleanest and friendliest. The leasing office is on top of it. Disgusting mold, wide open parking lot gate, and radio silence from management I normally don't leave reviews, but after emailing management about two serious issues (with photos attached) and getting zero response, I feel obligated to warn others. There's visible mold growing in the landscaping strip near the South gate of Building 1. It's caused by the sprinklers constantly soaking a patch of bare dirt with no landscaping, just stagnant mud that smells absolutely awful. It's genuinely embarrassing having to walk guests through that entrance, especially considering how much residents are paying to live here. Beyond the smell, it seems like a potential health hazard and code violation. Furthermore, the main automatic parking lot gate sits wide open for weeks on end. That's right, the main gate you drive through to enter the property is just... left open. Anyone can walk or drive in. Considering management literally had to send printed notices to every resident warning about car and garage break-ins, you'd think they'd be a bit more on top of actually locking the main entrance. But apparently not. To make it worse, both of these problems have been mentioned in past reviews, which tells me they've been ignored for months, if not longer. I tried to handle this the right way by emailing management directly, and they didn't even acknowledge the message. If you're thinking about living here, be aware! read more

I moved in going on 2 years ago. I live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath. I just LOVE my apartmen! It's is very spacious in every room, including the closets and laundry room. The staff has always been helpful and welcoming. The maintenance does a great job of keeping the property looking beautiful. I enjoy all of the extra perks, like valet trash and the package room. Excellent value for the price. The front office is extremely responsive. If you have an issue, the front office will fix it immediately . This is a wonderful place to live. I would definitely recommend. . If you are an apartment liver , you know that having a responsive front office team is very important ... I don't hear my neighbors and I never hear the train. The move-in special was not honored for me even though it was still posted. The elevator didn't work while we moved in, and had an expired inspection for most of our stay. The valet trash bill was a waste of money because the hallways were full of creepy insects- leaving the bin out meant inviting insects back in. The delivery area is open to all residents with a code and I had packages stolen from me. When we moved out, Jameson overcharged me by saying the unit needed to be fully repainted when the walls were not damaged at all. I was billed for carpet replacement when there were no holes, just 14 months of normal traffic and wear. At the end of my contract I had an overpayment of $1900, but instead they sent a bill for $618. Jameson and Greystar will not answer my emails or return my phone calls questioning the discrepancy. From a former resident....If I could leave zero stars I would. From the moment I moved in my apartment was extremely dirty, to today! I'm still paying for move out expenses for a unit I lived in about six months....they'll Nicole and dime you for EVERYTHING! They charged us over $600 for paint, $200 for 'interior repairs' and $80 for carpet! Again, we only lived in the unit 6 months and we're barely home. The complex sit between two separate train tracks....don't let anyone tell you that you won't hear the TRAINS! I will never rent here or from ANY Greystar property again! read more

Edit: this place just keeps getting worse. I had stuff stolen out of my garage that's only accessible from the inside of my building. When I went to the office, they told me that sadly they don't have cameras anywhere except the parking lot, and that it was probably someone that got let in that wasn't supposed to be there (obviously there's no evidence for this). They told me I should go see if anyone has a camera on their front door and ask to see their footage. When I tried to post on the community activity page asking if anyone had any information, they denied my post. They clearly don't care about the people living here and I can't wait to leave. read more

This place is honestly ridiculous.. cars are getting broken in to. This is a gated parking lot and they don't have any cameras to protect residents from this? Residents pay a premium to have comfortable living and they can't set up cameras. This is your fault people are getting their cars vandalized and you need to set up cameras in every public hallway and the entire parking lot.. Y'all need to do better. If I was looking for a place to live, I would go anywhere but here. Don't live at the Jameson, there are plenty places in the area that would care more than them. read more

The office staff at The Jameson are all great! Even the maintenance people! The ladies there all work super hard and are knowledgeable! Only reason I don't give them 5 stars is the trains....there are like 5 train tracks within 100 feet of the apartments...and only 1 of them blows the horn when they go by. It's so LOUD! I'm not sure what to do to get them to stop. ...and one more thing that is just personal... I've noticed people are starting to leave their porch a mess...and their blinds crooked and dirty and broken. It's starting to look really bad. All of the neighbors I've met seem really nice. The parking seems to be good. I like that everyone picks up after their dogs. I recommend. read more

This is the absolute worst place to live. There's dog poop in the hallways and pee everywhere, people are playing loud music at all times (mainly 12:00am to 4:00am). When I moved in there was a murder in the apartments and i was just told "you live in a major city, it happens". If you're going to spend money living in an apartment, live closer to 7th because this is an extremely sketchy neighborhood. They definitely waived background checks to get people to live here. On another note: there is no hot water except 2 inches of water in the bath and nothing drains. Literally the lights were out in public spaces every night and I honestly was scared to leave my place.. no lights in the halls or stairwells.. most of the time I've lived here there's been locks on the doors that won't let you in when you use the FOB (or the locking mechanism doesn't work and let's anyone in), front doors don't lock, balcony doors just swing open, and everything smells terribly. Go elsewhere, this place is NOT worth it. I can't wait to move out ASAP!! I'm counting down the days. I'd give a negative score if I could. read more

This place rocks! My only small complaint is the train hitting its horn sometimes overnight. Doesn't happen all the time, but can be annoying for a light sleeper. Other than that, it's great. Facility is new. Colors & layout is well thought out and modern. The gym is really nice and has 2 tiers. And there are plenty of games located throughout the complex that will keep you & your visitors occupied for hours. read more

The community here at The Jameson speaks for itself. Brand new apartments with resort amenities. Beautiful pool, amazing gym, multiple dog parks, modern units, and even a beer garten with scheduled food trucks. Location is great, close to Downtown, 7th Street, The Stockyards and the trails at Trinity River. The quality of the community is only outdone by the quality of the staff. It's quite rare to find such professional, responsive, and genuinely kind leasing managers. Samantha went above and beyond helping me to secure my apartment while out of town and made my lease signing and move very smooth. Kudos to GreyStar for hiring such a great staff. read more

I lived here for 12 months and decided not to renew my lease for several reasons. Lovely apartment, but the hallways are filthy and not air-cooled during summer. A train track runs just above the parking lot; when the trains are running through, they are extremely loud. Sometimes you will feel the vibrations of the building, don't let the staff fool you about having soundproof windows. The apartment staff won't tell you the truth. Remember, all they want is for you to sign the lease. Some pet owners in the building need to clean up after their pets. You will sometimes find dog poop in and around the walking areas. My move-out experience could have been better. The Assistant Manager slammed me with ridiculous charges for cleaning after no issues with the pre-move-out inspection. Once you sign the lease, you are on the hook for 12 months. On one positive note, the apartment has a decent gym. Make sure you shop around before you settle for Jameson at the Bluffs. read more
