Wow, the best ice cream I've had in a very long time. I had the chocolate soft serve, Moose Tracks and I got a serving of Michigan Potholes by accident. We're in town for the week and decided to come grab ice cream at The Jetty. The owners were very sweet to me and my kids. They brought our ice cream to our table and served with a smile! Had breakfast here on 5/16/2021, and loved it. Be aware that as we continue to slowly navigate our way out of the pandemic, seating is strictly outside, if you are dining here. Clearly they have a fantastic take out following. The food is all fresh prepared. I had the burrito for breakfast - delicious. The owner and staff were all friendly and attentive. They felt that I had to wait a bit long for my burrito (there had been a large group and several take-out orders ahead of me), so they provided me with a treat - chocolate monkey bread! We have been here a couple of times and the food is good and they have a good service but in my opinion I think is a little over priced.

My wife and I were driving through Croton and decided to check it out. When we walked in we were greeted by the owner. He explained the menu and took our order. He was very nice and answered any questions we had. The order is taken at the counter and then you sit wherever you want. There is seating inside and a nice big deck with seating outside overlooking the road, river and campground. We decided to sit outside and we really enjoyed it. We both ordered the homemade biscuits and gravy as we had seen it advertised on their sign. We were both really impressed! The biscuits were perfect! Buttery, fluffy, flaky and FRESH! The gravy was really good as well! Lots of flavor and super generous with the sausage! It was really satisfying. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to others! read more

Me and my wife stopped by The Jetty this morning for breakfast. We had the Apple French Toast and the Smothered Breakfast Burrito. The sausage gravy is some of the best we have ever had. The meals were both spectacular. I would easily say this is the best breakfast spot in the area. read more

Definitely a favorite and within feet of the Croton Lake. The owners dream was to serve the good ole homemade food they remembered from their yesteryears... and they did not disappoint. They try to stick with more wholesome foods (such as corn syrup-free products) where they're able. The burgers come from a specialty place in Hudsonville; tell them to cook it medium and it'll be perfect. Order extra Jetty sauce for your fries . This place was a couple years in the making, and they're learning, so let them know of you don't like something and they'll make it right (but everything is great, so it's doubtful you will have to). read more

Hooray for the Jetty and another dining option in the restaurant desert of Newaygo area. Jetty is a rejuvenated space in Croton just up the road from the Driftwood Inn on Croton Road. The new ownership has remodeled inside and out with both indoor and outdoor seating and, thank heavens, a redone bathroom larger than a shoebox! Bright interior, order at the register and find your table or seat inside or out. This seems like homemade food. I had a full order of biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy. Another in my group ordered an omelette stuffed with hash browns and cheese. Another had a larger breakfast with eggs, sausage, toast and finally...the vegan in our group ordered a very healthy option with egg, avocado and veggies. It looked yummy and healthy! My biscuits and gravy were hot and flavorful heavy on the sausage. It wasn't as much gravy vs. sausage as I'd typically expect but hey, better more sausage in the mix than just gravy. Everyone else at the table made positive comments about their food. We stopped for breakfast this morning on our way home from camping at Newaygo St. Pk. What a pleasant surprise of tastiness. We had the Wet Burrito. Oh! My! The picture of it didn't even begin to do justice for the flavor. The "Crew" were very cordial and you weren't rushed or pressured into making a decision. You can watch your order being made from scratch. The "food coma" was lessened by great java. Sorry we couldn't stay for lunch and dessert. Whenever I'm in the area again I will definitely stop, infact I would deviate from US 131 and bypass Grand Rapids for this jewel of decadence. read more
