Upon our return, we were very pleased to see that Poppi was perfectly happy with Susan; she was happy to see us but not over the top like it has been in the past. Poppi even whimpered when Susan left...which says a lot . Susan is perfectly competent to handle dogs, and she has a definite connection with them. She is 100% there for the dogs. We would recommend her to anyone hoping for undivided attention for their dog.

I just saw the police break the windows of a Pooches in the Park van in Leichhardt. Two big brown…read moredogs were taken out and in a bad way. They had been locked in the Pooches in the Park van all day. The owners of the dogs were there and when the Pooches in the Park owners were called, they seemed to think it was a joke and took their time in arriving back at the van. However, by this time, the police had broken the windows and the dogs were on the way to an emergency vet hospital. This is appalling behaviour and this is not the first time, as a neighbour, I have seen dogs locked in this van. The last time I confronted the owners about locking dogs in the van and they told me to 'mind my own business'. Stay away if you love you dog....

We have taken our 2 German Shepherds here twice, but the second time one of them fell really ill (knew there was something not quite right before taking him to the kennel, but saw vet prior to who found a minor problem so we all thought that was it and just required antibiotics). Nancy recognized something was seriously wrong and had our emergency contact take him to an emergency centre ASAP. This saved our boy's life as he likely would not have made it through the night do to a bleeding tumour on his spleen (unbeknownst to anyone). His life was saved because of her care, observation, and judgement. Also, Nancy does not nickel and dime for every extra thing a pet may need (food additives, medication, etc.), which isn't all that common from what we've seen and truly appreciated. Highly recommend all around.
