I took my son in there today and he has non verbal Autisam. Dr Helmut and Kelly were very kind to us and very helpful. They assessed my son and gave alot of helpful advice. Unfortunately my son would not let the Dr really do to much but the kindness and compassion that the Dr and Kelly gave to me and my son really touched my heart. I've been going for a few years each chiropractor's been fine until couple weeks ago this Dr helmet.. I'm not even sure he spoke to me at all when he adjusted me he only adjusted me in two spots almost pushed me through the Chiropractic table. I havnt been to a chiropractor in many years, and have been having a lot of problems. The way this place does things has me a little wary. I came in with a ton of spine pain and numbness in my arm. I was adjusted in an assembly line style without xrays to confirm what they were doing wouldn't hurt me. I've read that chiropractic care would benefit me greatly but I won't be back until xrays/mri done because it seems dangerous to not be sure of what's going on in there before applying a ton of pressure to the areas. Reception and the chiropractor were really nice and the place was clean. I didnt feel pressured and they answered my questions. They also gave me an icepack which was very kind cuz i was in a lot of pain when i arrived. Will Def be back once I know for sure i will be OK to have adjustments. read more

I didn't know what to expect, I took advantage of a new patient $29 adjustment special. Here's what to expect: inside there is one treatment room with 4-5 tables - all in one room. They aim to keep costs low, so it's no frills. They also work on a potential "membership" where you pay a relatively low monthly subscription (kind of like a gym for your spine), and get 4 adjustments per month. That is their most popular membership - which I opted to try out. Dr Kent was great and efficient. He asked what I needed, I told him I desperately needed a neck adjustment because I slept weird - and he got a nice popcorn release for me. AH! The only reason for 4-stars is this is a new thing for me, and it IS my spine after all, so I'm still not sure how I feel about an assembly line chiropractic just yet. read more

I've been using the joint chiro for years. They have a ton of turn over in doctors and staff. During covid at this location, they had great people working but selective hours. If you want to be REALLY adjusted, make sure to come when the male doctor is working, especially if your tall and do manual labor job. I do hate that you have to fill out the paperwork yearly when it's all in the system and nothings changed. There was a newer front desk lady I've never met at my last visit that didn't give me good welcoming vibes at all, I almost left. I like the regular desk front lady that's warm, happy and super welcoming, knowing almost all the customers. Where did she go!?!? I'd recommend this location but know what you need done prior to coming. read more

Dr. Janet is THE BEST!!!!!! She's kind, careful and makes me feel at ease when getting adjusted. She helped me when I suddenly hurt my lower back, I hobbled in, barely able to walk due to pain. I was feeling relief instantly after the adjustment. Since I was able to see her immediately after injury, I was able to walk normally and didn't have to miss any work. In the past, I've been laid up for over a week, stuck in a recliner due to waiting for a Chiropractic appointment to become available at another office. The ability to walk-in for an appointment here is wonderful! You can recover so much quicker. read more

I have been going to the joint for years. I visit at least once a week. Now I'm canceling my membership. My preferred location was cedar mill but I showed up to find out they closed due to not having a doctor. First, there was no email or text to notify me. Just wasted my time. I get tons of useless emails and texts, I guess this wasn't important. The doc there was amazing. He knew me and my lifestyle. He was always friendly and helpful! Now he's suddenly gone... So I'm forced to visit this location. Everytime I come in, it's clear I'm just a number. The receptionist is annoyed at my existence and her kid is always there... Which I don't mind but unprofessional. The doctor also treats me as a number, not a person. The wait here is always 30 min or more taking the convenience factor out completely. And now they are going to close on weekends?!?! I'll just start using my insurance and making appts again so I am greeted with respect, have a doctor who cares and can get in and out in an appropriate time. read more

This is the busiest Joint location I have visited and they are understaffed . The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not get a chance to get an adjustment- after a 20 min wait, there were still at least four people ahead of me . It is great that the doctor spends time with everyone, but their is no privacy . Waiting occurs in the exam room. This just does not work with one doctor and multiple people waiting. read more

I'm visiting my daughter here from Elk Grove, Ca where I am a member of The Joint there. After my flight and sleeping in a new bed I woke up with the worse neck and hip pains, I was miserable. As my daughter and I were out and about I was so excited to see The Joint here in Cedar Hills. I "popped" (pun intended) in and they got me right back for an adjustment. The place was beautiful as the one back home and the receptionist and doctor were just as nice and professional. I'm walking out of here feeling like a million bucks again. I stopped in without an appointment because I was in pain. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was happy to help me right away. I filled out my forms and was introduced to the doctor. I am over the moon happy with my adjustment. The doctor was able to release spots in my hips that formally no one was able to get. By the time I walked out my pain was 90% gone, and I had a plan to have regular adjustments at a fraction of the cost the last chiropractor I saw was asking for. I'm always greeted by my name with a smile here when I arrive by the wellness coordinators and "Dr. J" is very knowledgeable and informative about the care you need and delivers a superior adjustment. Regina helped me get enrolled with a care package that fit my needs at a budget I could afford and was very detailed and knowledgable about the different options available to me from The Joint. I didn't feel like I was just another number being pushed through the system and could tell my health was at the upmost priority to this great team and they were genuinely concerned about my well being. Once or twice a year I have major pack and hip spasms that cause misalignment and need immediate care. I just moved here last year so I didn't have a regular chiropractor set up. After calling around to multiple chiropractic offices and being told that they didn't have openings for weeks or that they would not treat on a first visit with a new patient I ended up here. I was skeptical of trying out a chain chiropractic office but Dr. Otto is amazing, he's very good at listening to what problems you're experiencing and figuring out what areas need adjustments from that. My spine and hips were pretty knocked out of place this time so it took a couple of visits but they are very affordable. They have a $29 first visit offer and packages that make it around $18/visit. The packages are definitely worth it if you're working on a long term problem that will take a few visits. The cancellation policy is 30 days notice in person which is completely reasonable but the visits do not roll over so make sure to go with a plan that really works for how much you're honestly going to come in. It's great to know that I can walk in whenever I'm having an issue and not have to make my schedule work around whatever openings a traditional office might have. read more

Please be careful! If I could give zero stars I would. I went there over two weeks ago with a shoulder pain and had never seen this chiropractor prior. He asked very few questions and began to adjust me and the moment he adjusted my neck I had immediate pain. When I got up I told him I was still in a great deal of pain and his exact words were "well I cannot fix everything". He was an incredibly arrogant and just acted like he didn't really care. I told the front desk and him as I was leaving how much pain I was in and it seem to hurt more than when I got there. By the time I got home I was in so much pain I was hysterically crying and vomiting because I was in so much pain. I called them back and he tried to blame it on the fact that I took Advil prior to coming in saying that sometimes Advil can have an adverse reaction. I have been a chiropractor's physical therapist and plenty of other doctors for sports injuries throughout my life and I've never heard such a ridiculous thing. And if to him taking Advil, which I took literally as I was walking through the door, is such a big deal that he absolutely should've asked if I had taken any prior to adjusting me.He took no accountability and just told me to give it some time. Well over two weeks later I am still in agony and I've spent hundreds of dollars trying to remedy an injury that I didn't have prior to going to him. My shoulder does not hurt but my neck is excruciating. I have missed work fallen behind and haven't slept in days. No prescription pain med has helped relieve the pain. I cannot believe they have not followed up with me to see if I am OK and I also sent a message to their corporate office but have yet to hear back. My physical therapist even said that when you are spasming you should never have your neck adjusted and he should have known that. I am writing this review to warn anyone so that they are very cautious before going here. I highly encourage you finding a different place. Also be very careful having your neck adjusted. read more
