Dr. Megan and Dr. Morgan were there when I visited last week. Dr. Megan (her first name) was very gentle in her adjustments but they were still effective. Since there weren't other patients there, I shared a few things about myself as she was prompting me with questions. Found out her husband works for Edward Jones. She was a delight to talk with. Dr. Morgan (his last name) is married to the Dr. Morgan at the Dana Park, Joint. I found that fun. Both these chiropractors were very nice, professional and personable. This is now the 4th location in the past 1.5 months I've been to and each location the receptionist and chiropractors are all awesome. I was trying to narrow down which ones I will go to, but 4/4 are all A+. This location is a bit far for me, so I will only go there when I am in the area and need adjustments. Thanks! read more

My gf and I walked in at 6:30 and she was needing some immediate help before a long trip in the morning. They said they didn't have time to take her and that their last hour was their busiest. The office was completely empty and I saw the receptionist and dr just sitting around. As a current (now former patient) I knew from experience that paperwork would take 10 min and their so-called consult would take 5min and an adjustment 2 minutes. Again NO-ONE was in there. Don't bother with THE JOINT. It's a horrible franchise. I told the receptionist that I would never return myself and would be leaving a review on all the sites. As we were leaving I could see her smirking. Sweetheart I know it's Friday night and everyone wants to go home. It was 6:30 and we would have been out of your hair by 6:50. If you are going to close at 7p then you should take ALL patients new and current right up until 6:59. It's called good business. And whomever is thinking of a softball response about giving patients "the proper attention that they need..." Save it. We needed your attention tonight and you and your receptionist just cared about shutting the lights off. Save your response for corporate as I will be writing to them too. read more

I was very disappointed with my visit last week after returning from Florida. The energy and friendliness has defiantly declined in the last several months. In particular Dr. Sam was extremely uninterested in performing quality service to myself and others. Within a matter of 20 minutes he had rubbed at least 3 clients the wrong way. The systems were down when we first came and after he did his 2 minute adjustment when the systems came back up I asked him if he could look at the notes from my prior visit to see what they performed. He looked up the notes and bashed the other doctor without knowing that I received one of the best adjustments and service. After I explained how I didn't feel near the same as my last visit and my lower back started hurting worse immediately. He proceeded to tell me that my prior experience isn't his style and I should go to another location until I find a doctor that performs the services that I prefer. He further states after I told him the other doctor stretched my sciatica he said he doesn't do stretching and laughed. He said if you want stretching go next door. The other visiting doctor filling in for the regular doctor was great and displayed the caliber of service, respect and friendliness I am used to with this office. I brought in my daughter for the first time as well as she was in pain and I would've not had her seen if it wasn't for the visiting doctor. Doctor Sam was rude, disrespectful and bad mouthing his company in the back when we walked in. I will never have him adjust me ever again as I don't trust he cares and can really cause damage to someone's body and health. I shouldn't have to go from driving a half a mile to go further to another location to not get rude service. Just sad, definitely not good for this location or the franchise as a whole. Good people and service can make a break a company at some point and I'm 90% sure this guy is known for his rude behavior and somehow he feels it's okay to treat people this way. Please do better with who you choose to work in your office. read more

Another disappointing experience at the Joint for my family. First let me say Megan is an amazing chiropractor. The disappointment comes from the ways that corporate is always trying to push their packages and then rip you off. My wife drove 10 miles today to get adjusted there because she had bought a 3 pack the last time she had back pain. After filling out all the paperwork she was informed that she purchased the 3 visits over a year ago so they weren't valid anymore!! All they try to do is push their agenda repeatedly and then don't even tell you they expire? An email would have been nice, but they are too busy trying to sell a package to the next person. The girl even had the gall to try and sell my wife another one of their supposed deals. Unreal. If they didn't have Megan working there, they would never stay in business. read more

I was preparing for a 15 hour flight on a long vacation I was taking. I was already stressed and now stressing to to don the errands I won't be able to do while away on vacation. I happen to pass the joint, and I thought to myself, "you know, might be good to have an adjustment so I can feel relaxed and might be better if I'm going to be cramped in an airline seat for 15 hours." I'm the type of person that likes to make an appointment or calls ahead, but there was no time, it was 3pm on a Saturday and I figured I would walk in. If I couldn't be seen, at least I can get some more information about a membership. Turns out, the process is really quick and easy. They do take walk ins with no problem. The receptionist told me about the membership options which didn't fit my needs at this time. But they did have a special where if you buy five adjustments, you get one free. Because I don't have a set schedule, I don't know when is the next time I can come back, so this option was a great fit for me! I took her up on the offer. I chatted with the chiropractor, and talked about what I was looking for, and he gave me an adjustment, and I was on my way! My vacation was excellent and the 15 hour flight was a breeze. Thanks! One recommendation is to be mindful with what you're wearing. A tight button up shirt or pant makes it difficult to be adjusted. read more

I used to be a competitive powerlifter but the last 2 years have made it difficult to go back to the gym and lift without pain. I found this location and signed up for 4 adjustments a month for $69. You need at least a 2 month committment to start and can cancel any time after that. I'm so happy I am a memeber now because I have been lifting pain free ever since I started with The Joint and plan to keep it as a part of my recovery plan. The best part is you can go to any location with your membership which works out great for people who travel often. I love this particular location because Lisa at the front is the best. I look forward to seeing her whenever I come in. I've also been seen by most of the chiropractors here and they are all great! I left a really good review a while back and I'm back to update that. I came in three times and had to explain over and over again that I have TMJ, and everytime I told them they seemed shocked that I supposedly never told them. They asked me to come in again to have a readjustment if I hadn't seen any changes, so I did and once I came in they didn't know why I was there when THEY'RE the ones who told me to come back in. It seems as if they make no notes on the patients and what the need. So why was I paying a membership if they have no idea what's going on or what to do? Don't fall for that welcoming front they put on, it's only for you to keep coming in. Once you question their responsibilities, they have no clue what you're actually there for. They're only nice when you're paying a membership and they're receiving money. The second I cancelled, their whole attitude changes. When I joined with a subscription to the joint, I joined at this location. I will say that it was a good experience the first few times coming here. I will say the downside was is that unless you're a reoccurring customer they generally don't pay you much attention as there is other locations that you can go to in the area, some of the visits were rushed, but I never had a problem until trying to cancel my subscription. The location pre-authorized my card a day early without telling me. I tried to cancel that first day that they shouldn't have charged me and I was told that I didn't put in the information correctly. I had sent several emails with the cancellation documents signed they kept telling me that they were not signed. Then when requesting a refund because I was not going to use the visits instead of the receptionist just politely telling me we cannot do that. She decided to lecture me on how business is run. Which is funny because I run a business lol. I would say don't get roped into the subscription every month and definitely do your research about the joint before joining them. read more

I was a first time customer running in to get my back cracked thinking walk ins welcome- they had no receptionist. So myself and 4 other people were just waiting in a line to see the one doctor that was there. Another first guest customer went back before me and came right out and it was my 'turn' next so I went back and said this was my first time here and the doctor rejected me saying we can't do first time customers today so after waiting 30 minutes and wasting multiple people's day I left with nothing. There was no sign saying no new customers. Very unprofessional place- floors weren't clean, water jug empty in entry and obviously no receptionist. I am a fan of joint chiropractic and would recommend them to people looking for a affordable way to keep up with maintenance of your body but, Dr. Rafic Alaouie at the ray location is terrible. I have gone to this location a couple time and every time this chiropractor has "adjusted" me he's made me feel worse and feels like he doesn't even do anything... he pushes on your back a couple times and sends you on your way. After 2 adjustment with this guy he didn't even make my back crack once lol. I have been getting regular adjustments through out my 16 years of football and I can honestly say he is the worst chiropractor I have been too please go to a different location or have another chiropractor on-site treat you!!! read more

My first time going to The Joint was when I threw out my back and I could barely walk. I was in so much pain. Dr Lance relieved most of my pain so i could walk normal again by my very first visit. I have been visiting his Location for the past year and love it so much that i have referred family and friends who now all go there!
