I hired Erik to record some electric guitar tracks for my first album. It sounded incredible - even better than I imagined. Throughout the process, he was very easy to work with, responded quickly to my messages, and did the work quickly as well. He made several suggestions and even took the initiative to record a few ideas he had to see what I thought. I can only assume that he would be just as professional when doing mixing, mastering, or other production, and the times I've heard the work he has done for others it has been impressive. This is more a warning than anything…read more I worked with the co-owner of Pacific Sound Studios for a year on an audiobook project, was pretty green at it. But he stuck with me until its production was completed. Afterwards I moved away and he became very difficult to contact regarding the project in any shape or form. He wouldn't take calls, hardly responded. Eventually I learned he didn't want to publish and has refused to give me any audio for the work put in. My band also worked with him to record and produce an album, this not as a partner but as a paying client. He never sent finished tracks for us. All this to say don't trust the studio, they have scammed me out of my time and money. If he did it with me he'd do it with anyone. They are scammers.

Mark did an amazing job with exactly the AV technical equipment and expertise we needed for a large…read morescale watch party. His team delivered with precision and far exceeded our expectations with both a large LED screen and several sets of speakers. Both the sound and visual were exactly what we were looking for. He came ahead of the event for a walk through and evaluated what would work best. Seeing the space, he recommended something that made more sense than what we had originally asked for. The sound was synced perfectly with no delay, even for those seated far from the screen. In fact, no matter where you were physically in the large space the sound was the same--unlike other concerts I've been too where the speakers either blow you away or aren't loud enough depending on where you are. It was loud enough to be immersive without being overpowering. I am in awe of how he did it! He was prepared with all the necessary cords and adapters to have a hard internet connection with WiFi as backup so there was no risk of glitches. I would definitely recommend Ya-Wave and will use them again for future events like this.

Can't believe it's been two months since our special wedding day, but with Tri Luu Films, my wife…read moreand I are able to relive the lovely memories from that day forever. Many months before the wedding, I searched for videographers and wedding video packages that suited our taste, where we wanted candid, yet dreamy/fairytale shots of our day, along with videos of our ceremonies (tea ceremony & Western ceremony), all while being within a certain budget. After sending in quotes and meeting with some videographers, it was a challenge to find the one that really matched what we needed. Luckily, I got in touch with Tri Luu Films through one of the wedding sites that recommended him, and saw some of his work on Vimeo, including a wedding short that was at the venue we were getting married at. Tri was such a pleasure to work with from the get-go. He met with us to talk about our ideal style and "must captures," and knowing that he was familiar with our venue in San Jose as well as having experience with capturing tea ceremonies is really what sold us. They were even onboard when I mentioned that I would be surprising the bride with a musical performance during the reception, and were able to capture that. On the day of, Tri Luu and his team were fantastic - incredibly professional, kind, and understanding of timeline shifts. Something I really appreciated was that they know when it's appropriate to step-in and give advice on good video shots versus when to be more in the background and let the photographers do their thing. Our wedding video package included a trailer, wedding short, and a documentary. The trailer was great and made me hyped to see the rest of the filming, and it also got to us less than three weeks from the wedding! The wedding short film I liked because it included some short lines from vows, speeches, dances, and ceremonies and various snippets from the wedding. The documentary, though, was definitely what I was waiting for - over an hour of great footage, edited chronologically for us to relive the best day of my life. I could tell it was done with great care because everything flowed well, there were transitions showing off the venue where the next part of the wedding was at, and the background music was perfect. Couldn't be more impressed with Tri Luu Films, and I wholeheartedly recommend Tri to anyone needing a wedding videographer!
