I went here a couple of months ago. It was my first time seeing a chiropractor and I'm not sure I ever want to go back. They were very pushy to come back super often and I really just wanted to try it once to see if I notice any improvement first. Well, I had the opposite. For the past couple months I have been experiencing excruciating pain in my lower back, near the SI joint. It cost me multiple appointments with my doctor and physical therapists and I'm still not healed. I had to go on medical restrictions at work. This "adjustment" on my legs not being "even lengths" has already costed me hundreds of dollars in trying to heal whatever the chiropractor did to me. I have no idea when it will even heal, or if it will ever really go back to normal. Not only has it caused me pain, but it has prevented me from being able to work and even move sometimes. Been going here for years. Although not as comprehensive as a traditional chiropractor, it'll get the job done. I usually go here until I've met my deductible - just for maintenance. Enjoy all the doctors I've met so far. Plus side, when I'm traveling I can almost always find a Joint to help me out if needed. Also a great option on the weekends or after work. read more

Well my first time at this Joint. I truly enjoyed Dr Mitch. I complained about my arm/ right shoulder blade. And of course being a truck driver my low back. He did some stretches on my legs face down and mid back. Then he popped me in here and there. He also told me to ice it which I am right now. I prefer to have the use of electrical pads or massage table before adjustments begin, most places have usually given me 10-15 min on these before adjusting, but they stated to me over the phone they do not do these before their adjustments. read more

If you're looking for reasonably priced chiropractic care in an easy going environment this is the place to go. They do perform treatments in a room with other people so it's not quite as private as some other places, but the price and service is right! All of their staff is pleasant and accommodating. read more

I let Dr. Lo adjust my son Kairo hoping he will feel better afterwards. Instead he was feeling worst. I never thought a chiropractor would have the heart to messed up a child's back, but they don't seem to have a good heart or care who they mess with. They don't care about the patients as long as they keep people coming back to spend money at the joint that is all they care about. read more

Very good location with great people. I like being able to use my membership at different locations and see who is available. Of course, some Chiropractors are better than others, but you usually figure that out quick and with the app, see who is available at each location ahead of time. read more

I ended up at The Joint because of migraine headaches caused by neck pain & the 3 years I put off finding a new Chiropractor because my primary one retired but primarily because of the decades of many Chiropractors, methods of care / treatment, long term care/results & only 1 Chiropractor could adjust my back & neck successfully. I've FINALLY found a skilled, experienced & successful new Chiropractor! My judgment was based on a successful adjustment of both my neck, which was the result of my migraine headache, lower back, and the expected recommendation for how many visits to resolve my issue. If the recommended adjustments exceeded 4 no matter how good it was I wouldn't stay. All of my expectations were met & exceeded. I recommend anyone to try The Joint especially in Apple Valley. After referring 2 family members that use Chiropractic care they too expect results in 1-4 visits vs. having their life revolve around weekly/bi-weekly or even monthly visits just to visit one for good health. Regarding the office setup, I'm use to & prefer a closed office (meaning much more privacy) for my adjustment & I'm not sure how they can get away with the people in the lobby hearing people behind the wall where your adjusted say what their issues are but ultimately my primary need was a Chiropractor who produced successful value. They offer a monthly package at $64 which saves money if you need 4 adjustments but requires a 2 month notice to cancel. I kind of regret getting it because it will cost me more than what I expected to commit to but since I've put off care for so long I'll use the visits & cancel it. The following day after I was adjusted I received a phone call from the Chiropractor to see how things were going. What an awesome surprise! This follow-up even impressed those I recommended and they will give The Joint a try. I highly recommend anyone who is not experiencing success or are sitting on the fence in finding a new Chiropractor to at least try The Joint especially the Apple Valley, MN location. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lack of privacy. read more

Dr.Mitchell is amazing! He has been my chiropractor for five years and has helped me through a total knee replacement and other health issues. He spends extra time with me explaining what he is doing and how it will help me. I never feel rushed when he is adjusting me. Dr. Mitchell really cares about his patients and has a fun personality. He is also great with children! The difference I feel before and after an adjustment is wonderful and I have more energy. All the staff at the front desk desk are friendly and helpful too! Went to AV The Joint for the first time. Arrived at 6pm on July 5. There was no one in the waiting room or in with Dr. Kongcheng Lo. The front desk lady was completely rude and turned me away and told me that had I arrived 1 minute earlier at 5:59pm then they would have seen me because new patients take 30 minute consultation. I asked to speak to the DR. who reiterated had a come at 5:59 instead of 6:00 they would have seen me and proceeded to give me a business card directing me to a different chiro office in AV not associated with The Joint or to come back the next day at 10am. I drove 45 minutes to get to the clinic to be rudely turned away over 1 minute. Then I sat in my car outside the clinic as I looked up the other clinic location as the Dr and front desk lady sat and talked for the next 15 minutes until I drove away. For a place that is open until 7pm, they could have seen me instead of arguing with a new client for 10 minutes and then sitting around chatting with each other in front of the front windows. Horrible experience especially for someone in pain to be treated. read more
