I would like to thanks the nurse and Jeanie for their understanding and help to have me breath correctly when I am having difficulty and can't catch my breath. We didn't see Dr. Blake on this trip, but he has always been excellent when I've seen him and he has always been concerned when he does any procedure on me. Dr. Blake always explains what he will be doing and is always willing to answer any questions I or my family my have. Just wanted to say thank you to all in the Cleveland office!

I also want to mention a couple of things before I tell you my story. I went to a new Pharmacy one time because I moved but it was very small. I decided to go back to my old pharmacy. I called CPM and told them I want to go back to my old pharmacy and Summer said my new address and number were already in the system. Yet, CPM still repeatedly kept sending my medications to the pharmacy I only went to once. Weird because CPM did not do this every month. One month CPM sent scripts to new pharmacy and the next month CPM sent scripts to pharmacy I went to once. I had to call back 4 times before CPM finally got right pharmacy. I saw Dr Fesler every other month to get my Buprenorphine Patch. I originally had an appointment scheduled for June, 2026, but Summer called me and rescheduled for July 15, 2026. She assured me I would have no problems getting my Patch refilled. She specifically told me to call July 2, and I will have no problem getting my refill. I did call and left a vm. Diana called me back and said she would have to call Dr Fesler because he was on vacation. She asked me if I had any Patches left. I thought mistakenly thought I had one more patch left but I didn't. Had to wait until Monday,July 6 to call back to explain what happened. CLEVELAND PAIN MEDICINE REFUSED TO REFILL MY PATCH WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT!!!! They had a July 8th appointment available but I use a car transport service where I have to have a 3 day notice. They were booked for several weeks and already canceled my July 15 appointment. This is how a Christian Pain Clinic treats their patients? Dr Fesler prayed for me every time I visited the office. A new girl called me back. I had to repeat myself FIVE TIMES because she kept asking me the same question!!! She said she would call me back later to see what she can do to get my script filled that day. She never did. I was in severe back pain. I was not myself and I was hurting. Instead of calming me down and making me feel better, CPM did quite the opposite. YES, it's true, I did call several times that day to see what was going on with my medication? By now it was later in the afternoon, and I called again and the Office Manager, who was extremely rude and mean, answered the phone. Again, a Christian clinic? She said I will go ahead and refill your prescription, but that I was mean and I yelled at her staff that day. This was not tolerated and I was being dismissed! Just like that. No warning. No nothing. Just dismissed. I could no longer see Dr Fesler! I guess I'm not allowed to be human and have one bad day, (Even after five years of no issues). Not allowed. Nope..Yet, ironically the Office Manager berated and yelled at me and then proceeded to dismiss me because I yelled at her staff. After 5 great years as a patient of Dr Fesler here, I was completely blindsided and shocked, by how I was treated a couple weeks ago.The way the Office Manager at Cleveland Pain Medicine dismissed me so easily without even a second thought came completely out of nowhere. I thought I mattered to them and they cared about me? Again, this is how a Christian clinic treats their patients? All because I had one bad day of being mean? I've been to several acupuncturists over the years for health issues over the past 5 years,…read moreincluding a Chinese man trained in Chinese hospitals. I have experienced much relief and have been able to avoid brain surgery that had been considered by neurosurgeons at Mayo Clinic. I am very familiar with testing techniques and with treatments. I recently moved to TN so needed to find a new acupuncturist. Dove "Healing" was THE WORST experience I've ever had. Linda's diagnostic testing was very skimpy and she provided very few treatment points, but the biggest problem is that she left me with two injuries much like blood blisters -- a smaller one on my scalp that left blood on the pillow and a much larger one on my shoulder. When I pointed them out to her she said something dismissive like, "Oh, I go for several months without causing any of these, and then you get two of them." I told her I'd never had these before and she sort of apologized, but not so much. The blister part on my shoulder went down in a day, but I had a 2" x 2" bruise on my shoulder that took about 10 days to disappear. There was a painful lump in the middle of the bruise and I initially wondered whether she'd broken a needle off in my shoulder. She also pushed a variety of herbal treatments, even though she said her testing revealed that I didn't really need anything. She wanted me back within a few days but, of course, I did not return. VERY bad experience! I traveled back to Florida two months later to see my acupuncturist and he diagnosed the issues that needed to be addressed and got me back in balance in a short time. I strongly advise against going here.

Constant Surprise Bills Overshadow Great Medical Care…read more Dr. Geddes is an exceptionally gifted surgeon. He performed a hybrid spine surgery for me in August after extensive research, second opinions, and many discussions. His skill, professionalism, and bedside manner are truly outstanding -- and my surgical outcome has been tremendous. I can't praise him and the surgery center enough. It was shocking how good it was! Unfortunately, that outstanding medical experience is completely overshadowed by the Center's billing practices. There are multiple separate entities involved -- the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and facility -- each billing independently. Because Blue Cross Blue Shield would only cover the fusion portion and not a hybrid procedure, I personally paid ~$21,000 upfront of my own money. Despite that, I continue to receive additional, unexplained bills that don't match any of their original estimates. And my insurance company (Blue Cross Blue Shield) can't explain this practice's billing either. Repeated requests for an itemized billing statement have gone unanswered, even though Tennessee law requires licensed hospitals and surgical centers to provide one within 30 days. When I escalated the issue, I was belittled by a billing employee, who said something to the effect that it was a "privilege" to be operated on there (because my situation was insurance + cash which they apparently don't typically deal with) -- an appalling comment considering I paid out-of-pocket for half the procedure. NONE OF THEIR BILLS MATCH ANY OF THIER ESTIMATES so nothing ties out. Its a mystery where these charges are originating. And when you and ask for a format that shows it all - the answer is, "no". I was assured multiple times that I would not receive further bills. Yet, weeks later, I continue to get new invoices (today's surprise is $1,345.29 and is the 3rd, different amount mystery bill). The lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. It's clear their billing systems are disjointed and antiquated, spread across multiple legal entities that do not coordinate or communicate effectively. It's truly unfortunate, because the surgeons, staff, and facilities are top-notch. If their billing process were as excellent and transparent as their medical care, this would easily be a five-star review. But as it stands, the constant surprise bills, missing documentation, and dismissive attitude make this a one-star experience. They are forcing me now to have to spend more time and more money escalating this. Patients deserve both world-class care and honest, transparent billing.

TL:DR     Ed Fox gave _very_ incorrect information and did…read morenot follow up as promised. My mom is 64. She and I have a chronic genetic issue. She swore off doctors years ago. So when I finally found something that was helping, it took a lot of convincing to get her to go. She did some research and decided to see Ed Fox. He wasn't familiar with her condition. That's fine. We're used to that. What she was asking for is Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) to help treat the chronic pain, among other things. He told her it's a controlled substance and that he'd need authorization, so he'd get back to her. It's not a controlled substance. In fact, had he done a five second google search, he'd have seen it's kind of the opposite. It's an opioid antagonist and is used in its normal dose to treat opioid and alcohol addiction. But he didn't do that. He also didn't check with others in his practice and get back to her like he said he would. If you have a cold, you're probably fine going here. If you're looking for a doctor that will actually do what he says, cares about your issues, and will look into things you bring up--this is not your guy. Now I have to try and convince my mom to try again. And it's going to be harder than it was this last time.
