It's a scam. I went in today for back pain. I really wanted to like the joint chiropractic on Montfort. The front desk gentleman was amazing. The place is spotless and a very nice set up. The forms could've been easier 10 pages of forms to read & fill out which took way too long. Saw the chiropractor Mike; I had back pain and foot pain and said that I was uncomfortable with having my neck adjusted and didn't want neck touched, but Mike he said he could only fix my back by working on my neck. I wish I had said been MUCH MORE FIRM IN SAYING NO to the neck manipulation which told Mike I did not want; as now I have a headache for the last several hours & my back doesn't feel any better, he never did any kind of back adjustment. I've been to other chiropractors and paid $45 or $60 and came out feeling better & completely treated in 1 session. Mike. I don't know what his doctor name is told me he could only fix me if I came back 3 or 4 times for roughly $180!!!! The name who processed me on my receipt is Jonas so it might be dr. Jonas or that might just be the cashiers name. I would've come back and signed up for weekly sessions if chiropractor had helped any --- I've NEVER been to any chiropractor where I didn't get my back fixed or made better in 1 visit when it was in pain. Not once till now!!! So not a great chiropractor. I didn't sign up for anything and there's no way I will. I felt violated by having had my neck manipulated which I didn't want when I had asked for not to be. No means no; but I felt cajolled into doing something I feared doing (neck manipulation)(which, if you read the waiver they have you sign /the waiver says the neck manipulation may cause a stroke!!) so I didn't want to do it. My back feels no better; & I've had a headache since I left. No means No - I let this guy Mike pressure me & convince me that my no meant that he should convince me to go ahead and let him give me a neck manipulation because that's the only way he knows how to fix a back!!!.... well, my back is no better, but I do now have a headache for the last 6 hours. You can learn from me & AVOID a place that doesn't care what you want... He did nothing for feet pain so I'm guessing he doesn't know how to adjust feet. Tomorrow, I'll go see a REAL Chiropractor who knows how to adjust feet & back & wont twist my arm to do something I WANT a doctor who's caring & who KNOWS how to treat & fix a back and work on the painful areas rather than make the areas that aren't in pain painful so they can try to upsell you. I'll go somewhere that they will adjust my back; & feet for back& feet pain & not my neck! Don't waste your money at this place. It's a scam. But maybe it's a good thing. He didn't fix my back because I would've signed up for weekly deals since it's close to where I work; all the other chiropractors have been like 15 miles away from me.. Looks like I'll be driving 15 miles tomorrow to go to a chiropractor who knows and CARES about people. This place has been a lifesaver for me. The staff is wonderful and the chiropractic care has been excellent. Prior to any adjustments I am asked what about areas of concern that I have or what hurts. At times I have had adjustments for my neck, jaw for TMJ, back, knees, ankles and even my thumb one time. The doctors will offer advise on stretching and supplements. Sometimes they have suggested limiting an adjustment depending on the circumstances. It is important to communicate your current medical circumstances. The front desk personnel is friendly, remembers names and if there is a long wait, they will hold your place to allow you to run a quick errand. The doctor who worked on me today caused me so much pain and discomfort that I wanted to leave. When I got in my car I started crying from the pain. The worst part of it was that when I told him how much it was hurting and how aggressive he was being he completely dismissed, belittled, and invalidated my pain by asking me things like, well what did you expect? do you think pain isn't a part of life? do you think no one except you experiences pain? do you think i have a magic wand that cures pain? (i'm not exaggerating these were his exact words) i kindly told him no, it's the movements you're doing and how aggressive you're being. he didn't change at all. anyways i left because i'm not going to be talked down to. Dr. Zein is almost a #miracle-worker. I hesitate to compare him to Jesus but he has some God-given talent! At first glance, you may run away because he is a pretty big guy. If I could give zero stars I would. Today I went into The Joint in Addison and I have never been more disappointed in my life. I've been a client of the Joint for over year now (usually based out of Houston but today I'm visiting my family in Dallas so I decided to check out this location). I had a girl work on me and I was unhappy with her service so I went to the front desk and asked if I could be seen by someone else. The lady at the front desk went and told William Foshee that I was unhappy. He came to the front to talk to me. When he came to talk to me he immediately started by saying it was against his malpractice policy to see anyone twice in the same day or by someone that was seen by anyone else. OK- fine I get it. Then he started telling me that I came into the shop unhappy and that I was "never looking to have a good adjustment." That's not true. And even if it was true, that is seriously out of line and rude to say to a customer! Then he started berating me and honestly treating me like shit. The way he was so intent on arguing with a young girl is scary! I will be contacting corporate. I would not suggest going to this location. They do not care about their customers and would rather fight with you then keep any dignity. read more

Anyway like I said I could have picked any place in Addison area. I pick these guys. After driving around lifting heavy cases I was really looking forward to getting some relief. I walk in just after 6:00 and they are open until 7:00. They do not take new patients after 6:00. No one concerned about me or an exception to be made. I love listening to him coach patients/clients on the benefits of chiropractic care. He is upfront and honest if he thinks chiropractic care is right for the patient. He has over 15 years in rehab experience as well and not only helped my uneven hips and tight back, but has also helped me rehab some tendon issues as well. I came to see Dr Wooten at his clinic because I was in such pain. Work was unbearable, I had difficulty sleeping and I felt sick from the constant pain. As a Dallas fireman/paramedic, I need to be in good shape and am unable to (and do not wish to) rely on pain medication to help manage the discomfort. Meds mask the symptoms. Chiropractic care treats the problem which eliminates the symptoms you are experiencing and Dr Wooten is the best i have been to. Dr. Wooten is fantastic. He listens. He is skilled. He has a great table side manner. I could not be happier. With my acute issue in check, I now visit the clinic to ensure I stay pain free and healthy. Dr. Wooten has always been super professional and has such as friendly demeanor. The office looks like every other Joint that I've been to but I've noticed that the staff and Dr. Wooten really remember me and recognize who I am every time I pop in. This may be because of frequency but hell I haven't been keeping track. If you're like me and just need an adjustment from time to time, I definitely recommend getting one of the punch out plans from the Joint and just hopping from place to place at your convenience.
