I have been a joint chiropractic member since 2013 and began in California and use this membership nationwide, which is very convenient on my travels. I frequent three different joint locations in the Tampa area. This being my favorite location. My favorite doctor is Dr. Shane. he is fantastic if you like a firm with a lot of pressure or if you need a very strong adjustment like I typically do as an athlete I get really tight sometimes and it's hard to get an adjustment, Dr. Shane is very thorough and very skilled technically I highly recommend if you need a softer try one of the other doctors or tell him to have a gentler approach. I drive 45 minutes to come see him when my neck is out of place because he is the only one that seems to be able to get that and one of my ribs that is constantly coming out so thank you Dr. Shane. read more

I have been coming to the Joint Chiropractic for almost two years. I started in the Town Park Clinic in Orlando and transfer to this Tampa Clinic here about a year ago. I had a lot of pain and stiffness and misalignment in my my spine and my lower back. I also do a lot of typing. My wrists were locking up and I was having pain in my fingers. Early onset of carpel tunnel, I think. I pay a monthly fee and I can come and get adjusted 4 times per month so I come once a week. The adjustments have significantly improved my quality of life by significantly reducing pain in my body. I've noticed reduced inflammation in my body, improved movement, and improved range of motion. I would recommend the Joint Chiropractic services. The personalized care and treatment plan that I am given, the attention to each specific ache and discomfort, the personalization and comfortability from each of the Drs is absolutely second to none. Do not go here if you are having a real problem with your back. Find somewhere else, these people are not serious. I called the day before my appt. and asked specifically if there was a chiropractor there that was a guy and was heavier, as I am a large guy and women typically do not weigh enough to adjust my back properly. They assured me that they did. When I got there the next morning, there was only one doctor there, a woman who was very small. The receptionist said sorry I wasn't there yesterday. Because I was in pain I decided to have the smaller lady doc work on me. I explained the type of manipulation that I needed and She said she would not be able to do that. She said there were other ways. I should have walked out right then. She popped my back twice, pulled both legs once, cracked my neck and said we were done and to mind my posture. I was like that was it? She said yeah you're back cracked remember? I walked out in pain, I wasn't even going to argue. Unbelievable. Never again. Going to have to wait till I can find a professional on Monday. read more

The docs that are there consistently are awesome. Sometimes its difficult to been shuffled around different doctors with different techniques. However don't sign up for the membership. If you want to cancel it, they try to act like they're a 1990's gym and won't let you do it unless you come into the office in person... a sleazy tactic nowadays. They try to keep you on auto pay, even when you explain why you can't come in person to sign a document. It's 2023, and there are digital copies and email (and even fax) at every business in tampa. read more

I've lived all over the country and visited many Joints. the South Tampa location needs to learn how to manage multiple patients at once. for example when there is a new patient and it takes 30 mins, other locations know how to see existing patients throughout vs making established patients wait 30 mins or more. the is is frustrating because one of the main reasons I choose the joint is the ability to pop in. existing patients take 2 mins and should get priority. if you don't know how to do this, don't take new patients unless you have more than one doctor that day. read more

My hip is out which put my knee out then went into my ankle. If I didn't get this fixed next to immediately, I will definitely end up in surgery. 3 minutes... changed my life. Every chiropractor is good, easy and no need for appointments!

I went to the Joint to get a FULL adjustment. I am suffering from a severe back pain that I have dealt with before. Every time I get this back pain (every couple years or so) I have gone to a chiropractor and gotten a FULL adjustment and it was fixed. I went to the Joint today for my "initial visit" and my appointment was at 11. I showed up 10 of and didn't get seen until 11:30 (I had to take off work for this and did not plan on being gone for over an hour). When I was seen, the doctor told me that they are a "wellness based practice" which means they like to do maintenance rather than one and done. He spent 10-15 minutes preaching at me telling me I should never lift heavy weights and that I need to go to a chiropractor regularly. He had 10 minutes to preach at me bit only spent 2 on my actual "adjustment". I can respect that BUT they use that gimmick as an excuse to only do one or two cracks and then say "come back next week for the next three". I paid thirty dollars (the intro price) for THREE cracks. I normally pay 45 for a FULL adjustment at any other chiropractor. I even asked him to do my lower back and he said NO. My pain is still here, in fact it is worse. I told him this and he said "that's why you need to come back". I know for a fact that this could have been resolved with a full adjustment but they had no intention of actually FIXING my pain. I will NEVER be returning to this gimmicky practice and I suggest you all do the same. read more

Been coming to the joint for a month now and glad that I found affordable Chiropratic care. The joint offers a $29 introductory consultation and adjustment. Then you can sign up for $69 with 4 visits and $10 each additional visit until the new month starts over. This is extremely affordable compared to what I've spent for visits. I had allot going on and still do, I'm just like most people. Hoping that some discomfort will go away with simple stretching and time. But the constant dullness of discomfort made me sign up. Hoping to find a solution. I'm finally feeling a bit back to normal but I also know that it'll take some time to get back to 100%. All the Chiropratic DOC's are great, they take the time to explain the process and make you feel comfortable during treatments. There was previously a chiropractor that was not so good here. Dr. Hunt has temporarily filled in during the weekdays starting September 2018 and she is amazing. She is very detail oriented and her bedside manner is second to none. Dr. Hunt applies ample pressure even for a 6'3" male in order to get the right adjustment. The whole process of checking in is very efficient and wait times are typically nothing. Parking is also very sufficient at this location. read more

The Palma Ceia location has been open despite COVID-19. I come every Saturday for instant relief and educational session with Dr. Musa. He taught me exercises and I've been working on strengthening some muscles I didn't know existed. Lots of issues with this office. They don't allow appointments, so you can either be in the office by yourself, or there could be several people ahead of you. This makes it difficult to plan a visit because the wait could be 5 minutes or it could be a couple of hours. Chairs are right next to each other in the waiting area (no social distancing). There are no individual rooms and adjustments are done in an open bay with no privacy. This gives the feel of an assembly line or a nail salon. The prices are very cheap and you certainly get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend The Joint; you're better off going to a proper chiropractor. read more

The Dr. on staff this afternoon completed a thorough assessment and was happy to review a copy of X-Rays taken a few months ago. I received an adjustment and did feel Somewhat looser.
