I am now in my third month of visits at The Joint Chiropractic, and during that time I've begun to notice how their operation works. Today, I checked in at 10:28 a.m. -- I know this because I had just texted my wife. When I arrived, there were five people ahead of me. I had always assumed patients were seen in the order they checked in. That was not the case. I waited patiently for my turn. A man came in after I did and sat down. When a name was called, I stood up, assuming it was finally my turn -- only to realize they were calling the man who had arrived after me. I was surprised but sat back down. I then noticed the doctor spent about 20-25 minutes with him in what appeared to be a consultation. Meanwhile, more people continued to arrive and take seats. When the next name was called, it was yet another newer arrival -- again ahead of those of us who had already been waiting. By this time, several of us were exchanging frustrated looks. It was now 11:45 a.m. After waiting over an hour without any clarity on the order in which patients were being seen, I chose to leave. It appears that new patients may be given priority, perhaps to make a favorable first impression. However, this comes at the expense of existing patients who have already committed to ongoing care. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to The Joint Chiropractic. read more

Buyers beware: Check your bank statements if you deal with this business. I explicitly declined to renew after my 6-month promotion ended, but they drafted $89 from my account anyway. Management literally acknowledged that their staff messed up my cancellation (and claimed the worker was fired for it), but still refused to give me a refund. Utterly dishonest management. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers. read more

Even though this is a national chain, they are very personable and helpful. The customer service is great. This location on Tamiami Trail has been very accommodating for me. They have an $80 per month charge and that allows you to come in 4 times. I thought that this price was very fair (your know massages and most chiropractic locations charge much more than that per visit). In addition, if you stop in after your 4 prepaid visits each month, the additional fee per month is only $10 per visit. Wow!! Fair and reasonable. They have 4 tables in the back and the Drs. there are very professional. I saw Dr. Kiss my first time in, he put all my notes into the computer, now any Dr. can set or manipulate my back and neck when I check in. And best of all, it is very easy to get right in, without waiting. I will surely tell others about this location. Give them a try - and tell them Wade the "hat guy" told you come down and see them. I saw Dr Whitney today and door probably the first time in a week or more my sides are not hurting. He said I had ribs out of place. So glad I went in today and not yesterday. I had been last week and saw Jason. He didn't address my sides hurting. My sacrum was tilted and that's what he worked on. Dr. Whitney heard me. That makes a huge difference. read more

I was in town for the weekend visiting my parents and stopped by the Venice location. Dr. Whitney did an amazing job adjusting my hips. I felt great walking out. Probably the best full body, and especially hip, adjustment I've ever had. Wish all the locations, or at least the ones near me, had a Dr Whitney. Been seeing a chiropractor for 40 years, I am very athletic swim ,walk and weights. , was very weary to walk into a chiropractic clinic where I didn't have all the information regarding a doctor,Very pleasantly surprised.Saw Dr. Jason Lawlor at Venice location, can honestly say he was attentive listened to me,and very conscientious, got my neck easily and immediately which was better than my guy at home and did drop table on lower back that felt great the next day.I have to say was way impressed with this walk in clinic,yes I will go there again ,29$ helped a long way in cementing my decision.Lydia read more

I found them to be misleading and dishonest they are nice enough to get you in the door and to sign the commitment for their $80 a month but I asked specifically about different equipment that would be available for the doctor to use I was told they would look into it they were new and they were bringing in new equipment but on the next visit with the same doctor I was told there would be no new Equipment and that she actually did not know how to use the belt for around the neck for decompression that they had the basic equipment to handle most people and they would not be adding any new equipment and that they would not be any change in the way they do things..... Which I guess leads to the next thing which is really the most deceptive part of it is that $80 a month charge was made unclear, I asked specifically it was just a two month commitment and had to be redone each month that it was not automatically taken! I asked two different people in the process of Signing up for treatment. Now when I'm questioning this and trying to stop the reoccurring charges they say it was in the bullet points of the paperwork that was signed even though 2 people told me that it was not reoccurring that I had to come in each month during my visit to have them run my card for future Month charge or could go as individual on a Per service charge at a higher rate than their monthly charge but that is what I was told. Now they don't want to stop the monthly Referring charge And refer to their bullet points in there paperwork and give no refunds for all the money they've taken even though their services are not being used!! read more
