Reduced from 5 to 3 stars. Primary Doctor at this location left. Though the Joint is a chain I've found that each practitioner makes the each storefront what it is. The Doctor at this location is skilled, knowledgeable, and personable. I get the care I need on my own schedule with no pressure on sales or frequency of appointments which I find refreshing. read more

The Joint chain is simply an "assembly line". They want numbers. They want sales. Comparable to a gym membership. Everyone receives the same maneuvers. No personalized treatment. You are simply number, not a person. They want folks to go for treatments two or three times a week. Anyone in healthcare will tell you you should not get a maneuver more than once a week. Located "The Joint Chiropractic" in Windermere today when looking for a walk-in location for fast relief. Very nice clean, relaxing location. The staff was very welcoming when I first called to get initial information and that remained the same when I arrived. I was seen by Dr. Dave Tran. Very upbeat. He asked the right questions and explained everything that he was going to do. He made me feel comfortable before the adjustment and I really felt much better after the adjustment. Monthly plans are offered after the initial visit and the plans are very reasonable. For fast relief it was well worth it. I will return. read more

The care is great. The business hours are not really customer-centered. Wasn't thrilled with the Receptionist last visit. She either didn't listen or wasn't paying attention when I told her I was in excruciating pain. Just, "Have a seat." She didn't communicate this to the doctor. On my vacation to Orlando, I had a situation develop with my left shoulder very late in our trip. On a whim and just before heading to the airport, I decided on seeing a Chiro and by pure happenstance stumbled on The Joint at Windermere. They welcomed me immediately, rapidly processed my new patient stuff but most importantly the doc who saw worked can only be described a miracle worker. His diagnosis was quick and the adjustment on point. Am now on my ride back home and just realizing that in my hurry to get done and out, I forgot to get his name. Talk about the fastest neck adjustment I've ever experienced. Kris greeted me, knew I had been in a car accident a few years back, asked if I had any discomfort or pain and then examined my neck and with the speed of a cheetah; he released months of tension. I'm hesitant with neck adjustments and they tend to freak me out, but this was all in one fluid motion and he was very in control the whole time. I strongly recommend this place to any one that works in an office all day and just needs to have the tension basically eliminated.
