I can't believe I never reviewed Join Co-Op. I mean, if you're right here, that's one thing. If you're not, it's not worth the travel. Prices used to be way high here. Based on their current menu, it looks like they have gotten more in line with the emerging $10 across the board standard. Still a few $15 entries. Friends, consider yourselves dissuaded, no one in the city should ask this, it's unreasonable. Maybe I'm living in the past, heh, or Fremont. Last piece, the $10 special, granted, this was like a year ago, called "Corleone" (silly), had tons, and tons of seeds. Yeah, $15 for a super seedy experiment. I think not. I don't go into smoke shops a lot, but not only did they make me feel welcome and explain products, they had the fortitude and awareness to recognize an unsafe situation and make sure my friend and I (both young women) were okay. A dispute broke out outside the shop, and the attendants made sure to tell us we were more than welcome to stay until it was settled and offered to walk us out. Furthermore, instead of focusing on what was happening outside, they redirected us to keep our thoughts occupied on something else and make us feel more at ease. I realize that this might seem like the bare minimum to a lot of people, but unfortunately women live in a world where that isn't the case. So, when people come along like the attendants at this dispensary, it helps to restore my faith in humanity. They don't accept legal forms of id, which would be fine except they're kind of dicks about it. Went to another place right after and they said the same thing but at least pointed me in the right direction/gave alternatives. Stupid policy, it's incredibly easy to distinguish fakes from real. Honestly, I loved this place when I first moved here. I felt super welcome . But slowly by going to more dispensaries I realized they honestly suck. Customer service is pretty cool. But prices are a little wild for some of their low grade product. They got robbed .. even though it's not their fault it still made me feel iffy about this place and Now they don't do online discounts. Honestly you can get a way better experience at a dockside cannabis. If you're just looking to get some flower really quick this is an okay place I guess but to get good product for a good price and GREAT service... don't come here. I went here three times and it was quickly becoming my newly favorite and only neighborhood pot shop, then they hired this chick whom evidently knows nothing of weed and has zero interest in telling her customers about the weed. Pot is a revolutionary movement that deserves respect for those in and out of the business. The WORST place!!! I used to like it here because sometimes employees would bring their dog in, and I went several (5+) times. Then they sold me a broken vape pen. I came in the next day and they wouldn't exchange or refund or do anything to fix the situation. They wouldn't let me return the unused cartridge I couldn't use in the broken pen either. The manager took my pen and went outside to vape from it to prove it wasn't broken, and when it WAS broken, he took the cartridge and put it in his pen and smoked it (to prove the cartridge itself worked). I bought a vape cartridge here after already having a mediocre experience with their flowers in the past. I told the budtender I had a battery without a push button or anything and was skeptical that the cartridge would work but two different employees reassured me that it should be fine. Needless to say it didn't work. I don't care if the employees don't know everything about every product. The issue is when I called about the problem I was told there's nothing they can do to fix it. The people working the counter at this shop are knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are reasonable and they have good selection. On weekends they have a 20% off sale, which is a great time to pick up half ounces or better. Like most shops they have a frequent visitor deal where you also get 20% off after ten visits. Combine that deal with the weekend deal and you will certainly save a lot of money. The location is easy to find and there is parking in the lot out front. Give the Joint a try if you live in the area or you want to try a new shop. read more

Customer service here is trash. The employees act like it's a huge inconvenience when you ask them to do something as simple as their job. I've had multiple visits where the person helping me didn't look at me the entire time until i had money in my hand, ready to pay. I'll drive any extra distance to ensure i dont have to come back to this shop. Easily my least favorite of all dispensaries i've visited. read more

Was barred from purchasing due to my vertical ID. No one fakes a vertical ID look at the birthdate! I'm sure they have good products but to bar me from purchasing simply because I haven't paid the 60$ to update my ID because it's valid for another 2 years is a bad policy. Haven't had a problem at any other dispensary's, bars, or restaurants. Change your policy and I'll change my review. read more

If you say you're open until a specific time, you should stay open until that point; do not rudely tell a customer that you can't sell anything to him or her because it's too close to closing, despite having just witnessed another customer's entire transaction and there still being quite some time before the advertised closing time. read more

This was the first access point I went to, ever. I had just received my first authorization nearby and went because it was right next door. The check-in process (and receptionist) was friendly. The place itself has a slick and attractive waiting area, no complaints there. However upon being called into the dispensary area I felt rushed. The budtender pointed out that this was usually the busiest day of the week. He told me to take my time; however his body language was saying the opposite. It being my first visit to a dispensary, I wanted to be able to ask some questions and be able to chat for a few. I felt like I couldn't speak freely, both because I felt more than a bit rushed by him, but also because there was no separation between the bud room and the waiting couches. Just an open door--you were both visible and could be heard by anyone in the waiting area. I would've preferred a more private experience when purchasing my medicine. I only had to visit one other dispensary and had a much better experience, and intend to visit many more (and possibly review them). read more

I like this place!! Not a heavy duty smoker - once in awhile at a camping trip or two, have my authorization in hand and was checked in and treated wonderfully! Nice, easy on the eyes place, professional, classy and sedate in decoration. The budtendress was very rude. My buddy had a vertical id and was asked to leave but she had to say "we literally have a sign on the door". Rude! Then made me take my id back out because "she didn't look at it". They're selection and knowledge is also sub par. read more

I would stay away from this place if I were you. I purchased a vape cartridge there and I was told that the battery that I had at home would not fit this cartridge. So, the salesman, who was nice by the way, he sold me the battery that he said that I needed. It was 24 and some change. As I was cashing out I said "keep the change and then I walked out. Leaving the receipt behind. When I got home I discovered that the new battery did not fit the new cartridge that the joint said I needed. I went straight back and told them the problem. They would not exchange it because I didn't have a receipt. I was just in there less than thirty minutes ago. I told the manager that the receipt was probably in his trash by his cash register and asked if she would go and check. Her response was, "I'm not checking his trash." That was it for me. She acted as if she was way to good to look into the trash. This is a pot store not a freaking restaurant. After I asked her if she thought that she was to good to check, she then kicked me out of the store. She loss a good customer over something so stupid. I didn't even want the money back all I wanted was the correct battery. She also refused to sell me one after this. This gurl needs to learn how to manage if she wants to make it in retail. If this is how they treat there good loyal customers then think twice before coming here. I will never return. read more

This place is pathetic, they stopped weighing it out in front of you and just bring it out from the back, about half of the bags they give you are all shake and almost all of them are under weight. i recently started weighing out the bags i buy and the majority of them have been under weight. The Joint Cooperative tagline says it all "Premuim Medication" and "First Class Service". What's not to like (love)? The professional yet passionately "upbeat" staff? The wide variety of complimentary beverages? The waiting room with leather couches and big flat screens playing "informative videos" and up to date news? Or could it be the wide selection of amazing strains and alternitives such as unique oils and yummy treats? or maybe it is just the "interesting conversations" with staff and other charismatic patients just like "you and I"? I suppose I could go on and on but "you" get the picture! I did not want to go home:) If you get there and they tell you that there is a "wait" it is by far worth the "wait".....This place is hands down "THE JOINT". They explained in terms I could handle what my options were, talked to me about pros and cons, different means of taking the product, and were just generally really nice people. The service is absolutely horrible here. I would not even recommend shopping here to my worst enemy. The two ladies assisting me were so unknowledgeable, they did not know any of the strains. One lady also had bad breath so when she spoke I wanted to gag. I would have run out but I wanted my tree. They lady (who barely helped me) was rude and unprofessional. Before I left she told me to "go fuck myself" when I have her a piece of gum. One lady had long black hair(lowkey tied up in a manbun) the other lady had colored hair and smelled bad. My prior experience buying here went much more smoothly. I am a respectful customer so the actions and attitudes of the workers were extremely uncalled for. If you see those ladies working there, I would recommend turning around and coming back on a day they are not working. read more
