I actually had one of the gallery…read moremanager's that was in charge of handing out directions to the artists studio's, hide my portfolio under the sales counter, including the directions to our gallery. We only became aware of this early in the Open Studio weekend by another artist. When I questioned the director, I was told that ,"'The gallery does not make any money by sending people to our gallery "??? But.. Isn't that the point of a Open Studio?? I demanded a refund for participation, but was never refunder. And never participated again.
