We took a stroll around Newburyport on a beautiful autumn-weather day, just warm enough for a fruit and veggie smoothie! The exterior was inviting, the shop's name is on a modern wood panel, inside they have a huge menu visible behind the counter on a bright green board with decent-size black fonts for smoothies, cold-press juices, and acai bowls. And around post-covid, they've taken safety precautions with plexiglass, easy contact-free card payment, and no furniture inside. Prices were on the expensive end but worth it when it comes to freshness. Pine Ango Beet Tango- Pineapple, mango, strawberry, beet, and orange. I shouldn't be surprised the beet was overpowering all the fruits, it's 'beet red', and somehow I dug it. It was refreshing and has a subtle hint of tang from the other fruits. Overall Service: Very pleasant staff and handled the transaction efficiently. The person I was with asked if there was a restroom and at the time they didn't have one or wasn't accessible to the public, don't know. But they did direct us to one close by which was a nice distinction between someone who could of easily careless about it to someone friendly enough to offer an alternative. read more

Cute little shop right off what looks to be a main street, especially if you're walking around the town. It's smelled great inside and was very clean, with more than friendly staff members! I ordered the Green Light with chia seeds added and it was phenomenal! I rarely finish my juices but I cleaned this one out lol! It was light and fresh and not the slightest bit bitter. It had a great balance to all the flavors of the ingredients...it wasn't overpowered by any of the stronger ingredients as can so often be the case (like the dates, kale or ginger/carrot juice). Also, the chia seeds were so well blended that I hardly noticed them! It was perfect! Again, all the parking in the area seems to be street parking and is somewhat limited due to it being a small-ish town. I will definitely be back! read more

Ordered online, was told 20 minutes. Got there and was waiting another 15. When I asked where my order was, the young woman behind the counter told me to "chill, we're busy". I let that go, figured they were having a bad day. When my order finally came up, there was no ice - even though I ordered light ice. Same young girl said her boss told her they weren't allowed "to do that anymore". I asked what she meant and she said "do you want your drink or not, you already paid for it" and they offered me a second cup w ice. We have loved the Juicery since it opened in Newburyport but today's visit was a fiasco. We ordered 3 smoothies and a shot online. When we arrived nothing was prepared and we watched while the staff served their friends before everyone else in the store. The smoothies we eventually did receive - 3 Green Lights which is our perennial favorite - were poorly made and more brown than green. Sad to say that until they find more responsible staff we won't be returning to this branch. I'll miss it. read more

The juicery has great smoothies and is a great place for post work out snacks. However, the method for getting out their orders is slow and aggravating. I went in with a friend and we both ordered açaí bowls. Mine was out very quick, but my friend was waiting a very long time for hers. So long that she went up to ask if they had forgotten her order. I think they make the smoothies people order before making the açaí bowls which is quite annoying. By the time I finished my bowl, she was just getting started l. Horrible service both times I went - never again! The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but when I visited again with a friend our order, two simple, on-menu smoothies, took forever. I noticed kids who showed up and ordered after us were getting their smoothies before us - the kids working serve their friends first! I have been to all of the juicery locations and unfortunately the customer service and treatment of the staff in Newburyport is subpar to say the least. The girl (I'm assuming the manager or something) in charge publicly critiqued the girl taking my order (something that as someone who worked in restaurants I find very unprofessional) in front of me in a very demeaning manner. Additionally the girls working there were gossiping (again very loudly) about their coworkers. This was what I experienced in 10 minutes waiting for a drink. Love the food, love the other locations, but Newburyport I think really needs additional help. read more

Love this place! Just put in this year it has become one of my favorite spots for breakfast / lunch right before I head to the beach. I have gotten the acai bowls, costing only 9$, a steel in the acai world. I personally swap out the bananas for strawberries and I have not tasted a better combination. The food is fresh and the environment is great. It has a feel of trying to hard but then again it is new. Great location too! The staff is friendly and considerate. Love it! read more
