AMAZING PLANT SHOP. You have to come here. It was voted one of the coolest plant shops in LA and it certainly deserves the recognition! We were in the area perusing another plant store and my fiancé happened to find this one because he wanted to test his luck with trying a shop with a greater variety of indoor plants. The inside of the shop is amazing. It's a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with zen music, pleasant smells, and of course beautiful plants. There's a great variety of common houseplants but also more rare and unique houseplants, some of which I had never heard of. After asking for a plant ID, we ended starting a wonderful conversation with one of the shop's owners named Felix who is a ray of light in this crazy world. We walked out of the shop with several cool plants - a philodendron squamiferum, philodendron tortum, and philodendron pink princess + one of the $1 succulents on the outside of the shop. You have the option to purchase the plants along with really nice decorative pots or take the plants home in grow pots. If you're a cat person, they have 2 gorgeous Maine coon cats that sometimes spend time at the shop (but call ahead if you want to see them because some days they aren't there!) read more

We started taking Mom to his shop to look at the beautiful things he has there, as a way to entertain our elderly Mom. Even in the beginning, when we didn't buy anything, Felix was nice and answered all our questions. Even when our purchase was a $4 succulent, he very nice to us and treated us like serious customers. Omg! 5 solid stars? I now know what the fuss is about. The Juicy Leaf is so legit! A little backstory.... a week ago the hubby and I came across Yelpla's insta post (Day 17 of 25 days of Yelpmas) of a set of pretty cool planters + beautiful succulents, geotagging The Juicy Leaf. Instantly falling in love with the whole arrangement and assuming TJL had this piece at their store, we stopped by on a whim. Sadly, the owner was just as baffled by the post as we were, claiming that the planters were not his. Despite loving his succulents, we needed somewhere to put them, so we left, intent on coming back when we had planters in hand. Coincidentally, that same day, we came across an open house with those same planters! (which were from CB2, in case you're wondering). Fast forward a week, planters in hand we hit up TJL and let Felix do his thing! We stepped out for a bit, and when we came back, we were so amazed by what he had done. It was absolutely beautiful. Felix is truly a masterful technician and clearly understands the science and elegance component of his craft. Every rock and succulent were meticulously placed with absolute intention. He takes pride in his work, right down to packaging it for travel, & giving instructions on care. Honestly, we were expecting a hefty price tag for his goods & service, but we were shocked at how inexpensive it all came out. Thank you so much, TJL! I love this place!! What an amazing experience and a true gem in the heart of Eagle Rock! I went here to find a couple of pretty vases for some plants in my house. The owner was so nice. He suggested I bring my plants to the store so he could help me pick vases that look good with the plants. He also said he would repot them with new dirt. I thought "yes please!" So I went home amd loaded up my plants that needed vases and a few I had questions about. I was wondering if I was over watering or under watering. When i returned he taught me how to take care of each plant and water them properly. He showed me all the base options, where the plants are most happy (full sun, some sun...) and showed me how to care for each one. He wrote it all out for Me. After choosing the vases he replanted them for me. He added rocks, stone and even a beautiful rock crystal to one arrangement. I brought some plants in that I hade questions about and he thought me how to care for them and even re-potted them just out of kindness. He taught me about each plant and where it should live in my house or outside of it. He also told me to take a video of were my plants are so he can tell me if they are in the right place of my house. He made me so happy that for the first time in my life I feel like I can keep my plants alive. All three guys at this shop cared a lot, took there time, and never got impatient. This was one of the best experiences I have had. I would recommend the juicy leaf to everyone!!. They were amazing and made my day. Written from my 10 year old: My daughters rating : I think this place is very cool it is very pretty and not only it has plants and vases but it also has very pretty stones and rocks that you can get separately and one of the very nice guys gave me a little jar of Garnet stones for free he was very nice. I've been coming to Felix and his staff at The Juicy Leaf for over 7 years and was super sad when the re-located from the Abbot Kinney Location. Everyone there is always super genuine, knowledgeable and I usually let them be creative with my pieces since they have a better understanding than what I usually come up with. Once you get your first Juicy Leaf piece in your house, even if it's just a small succulent, you'll absolutely come back for more. Love everyone here and the creations they make.
