I can't say enough great things about Stephanie and the amazing in-home daycare she runs! From day one, she's been incredibly attentive to my dog's needs and personality. It's clear she genuinely cares and goes above and beyond to make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. As a new pet owner, I've learned so much from her--she's always offering helpful tips and guidance, and I truly feel supported. My puppy absolutely loves spending time at her place, and I always have peace of mind knowing she's in great hands. If you're looking for a warm, knowledgeable, and trustworthy dog caregiver, I couldn't recommend The K9 Hangout more highly!

I had to go on a trip, and was worried about leaving my dog at a dog hotel, concerned that my dog would just be put in a cage and let out twice a day from a previous experience. my groomer recommended the K9 Hangout. My dog is very loving, but needy. Stephanie, and her husband gave me dog all the love and attention he needed. I was comforted and worries went away on my trip as I got many updates with pics and videos. I am extremely satisfied with her service. I highly recommend.

The K9 Hangout rocks!!!! My family and I were never able to go on a family vacation until we met Stephanie! My social anxiety Golden Retriever is now able to interact with other dogs thanks to Steph! Highly recommend. My dog Archie runs straight to Steph when we drop him off for daycare, he loves her

She and Maritza actually have several clients in common through referrals. I've been sending Waffles for daycare at least twice a week for a year to Maritza and sometimes overnights and holidays if I'm leaving town. She is an amazing sitter- not just at being flexible with scheduling and communicative with pictures, videos and updates but goes above and beyond accommodating last-minute emergency situations and is so conscientious and aware of where every dog is at all times. All the dogs play well with each other and even have regular naptimes. She updates me on any possible behavioral/physical changes she notices and makes sure my pup is always safe and happy while staying with her. I have to book at least a month or two before the holidays come around because everyone is fighting for a slot to get their dog in with her. On a more personal note my Biscuit boy got run over in a hit and run two months after he first started going to her and I'll always be grateful to Maritza for making his last few months so joyful. He loved going to her place and she was one of the first people I called that day to come say goodbye to him. She even gifted a sweet memorial picture of him because she knew how hard it was for me to have such an unexpected sudden loss. I got Waffles the next month and Maritza has been a lifesaver in helping with her training. She really understands dogs and is a one in a million find since she does it full-time. Socialization and structure is SO important with puppies and I couldn't ask for a better more patient person to care for her through her puppyhood and now adolescent years. It was a happy accident that I found her but now I can't imagine sending my dog to anyone else. I have backups of course, but Waffs is the most tired and happy after a day at Maritza's! Highly recommend~

Very Disappointing Experience…read more I'm extremely disappointed with this dog boarding/daycare facility. We had used it before without issues, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Our dog stayed there from June 25 through July 9, 2026, with daycare twice a week. When we picked him up on July 9, we discovered a significant hole in his ear. No one had contacted us, and the receptionist said no injury was documented in his file. Staff could not explain what happened or identify which dog may have caused it. We were directed to the facility's veterinary hospital, where our dog had to be sedated, stitched, and treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. He also had to wear a cone for three weeks. We were charged for the medications and requested reimbursement from both the veterinary hospital and daycare and yes we were reimbursed. The daycare offered only 10% off a future boarding stay and two free daycare days. We have no interest in returning and no longer trust this facility with our dog's care. Accidents can happen, but an injury requiring sedation, stitches, medication, and three weeks in a cone should have been documented and reported immediately. Instead, our dog is now missing part of his ear. This experience revealed serious failures in supervision, communication, documentation, and accountability.

Since my last review, Luke Skyhopper crossed the rainbow bridge (it felt like I lost a part of my heart losing that kiddo, but 13?ish years was a good life bubs). I think he was one of the last Petco featured buns RRI had, and my goodness am I glad I found him. After his passing my home felt quiet, and the same week I of course went to "just look" and ended up taking home two new bunnos now named Mulder and Scully. Their names were originally Tobias and Locke? *She was part of a litter in the rescue so if you have a bunno from here that's approximately 4/5 I may have their sibling! They were dumped or so I was told, by a family that loved them dearly (Scully was carried around by a little girl). Mulder (the lop) was from a breeder and bonded to Scully in the previous owner's home. They were supposed to have their belongings dropped off at the rescue, they did not. Thankfully I have a fully set free-roam bunno home so they settled in easily. Scully was petrified of dogs or even hearing them. Mulder was urine scalded. It's been a few years and they're thriving now. I've uploaded photos in case they were yours and you'd love to see an update on them. They're gonna live their best lives with me forever. I promise. Everything said above. I boarded the kids here and took a shot. They were okay and didn't have any issues besides it being insanely hot. *This was also summer of last year though. When the fires broke out in January, I immediately thought of air quality knowing their location and what they were working with. I confirmed and sent two air purifiers because I understand not just human health, but also bunny health and my goodness they are sensitive little loves. When I called to be sure they got there/were received, I was made to feel like the two HEPA air purifiers were not good enough because they were "so tiny." When I run a single one in my home just fine. =/ I don't have the world, but I'll give what I can, especially to those who I care about the best I can first. This was also in the midst of me volunteering daily to collect for victims and first responders. But I bit my tongue. This rescue has had its issues of bunnies being abandoned out front and being eaten by the roofing company's dogs. It wasn't fair to the buns and they deserved a chance but my goodness that could have been prevented. I notice the difference between their social media stirring right now so here's some more perspective. I have immense gratitude for those who have lovingly cared for the buns I've adopted, and those who came into this rescue. The 3* is for you.

One rule was we were going to train her to be his service dog to help with mobility issues and we had to decide who to use to train her. We started off with the typical Petsmart training classes which were also great for what it was but knew we needed more. We called multiple trainers, had multiple consultations and no one we meshed with until we found Reymond. We started off with one class and even in the first class he gave us such amazing advice on training Hunny, techniques and was just a kind soul. We signed her up for private training lessons and he has helped Hunny to overcome some fears and training in real life vs a pet store. We were able to take her with us on a short Vegas trip where she was perfect. You tell me what young dog is able to lay down and settle at a Japanese Bbq place where all we are doing is grilling delicious meat and eating tons of food. So if you are wondering if you should hire Reymond and his company I am going to say yes, you won't regret it. A bonus is he also has group training classes that are very economical. With Reymond's help I know that Hunny will become an amazing service dog for my husband. Also, if ur lucky u get to pet his dog Pluto and give him some string cheese :)

He is not interested to get your money which is very rare nowadays. I recently brought my two cats to this clinic as a follow up to my visit with another veterinarian (more on this later). Dr. Choi recommended what is ONLY necessary to be done and he did not force any extra tests or services. In fact I asked for other tests and he said those are not necessary. He could have made more money but he's not interested in that. What a good person! Another amazing thing is that he himself called me for the results. When I asked when I need to come back for the next check up, he said my cats are in good shape so I can bring them again after one or two years. That is very rare nowadays because most providers wants to make the most money out of their patients. CONTRAST this with my experience with VETCO hospital where the receptionist slash sales gimmick specialist was very aggressive in forcing me to agree to more exams that are expensive! I will definitely be using them again in the future, and I now feel confident leaving my fur baby with them, even for longer vacations. I also want to mention how clean the facility is. When you walk in, you do not smell urine at all. I know accidents happen with dogs, but it is clear they take pride in keeping everything clean and quickly cleaning up any messes. Seeing how clean and well cared for the facility was gave me so much peace of mind. I truly felt that my dog was in a safe, clean, and loving environment. One last thing.
