There are booths to sit at, a long bar, and high tables near the window, so there are some nice seating options. We tried the cream of carrot and ginger (soup of the day) and it was outstanding. I tried the sandwich of the day, a roast chicken with caramelized onions on 'mediterranean' bread, which was a simple white bread with some bits of kalamata olives in it, I think. I had an option of fries, salad, or potato salad, and went for the salad, which was a pile of lovely fresh greens with a creamy balsamic on top. Another of us had the chicken leek casserole which was huge and tasty. With some tricky to find imports on tap like Newcastle brown and Old Speckled Hen, we really felt like we'd stumbled into a nice example of a UK pub in Brockville. They have a bunch of premium and imported options for beer on tap plus a reasonable wine list. Worth a stop!

Then I encountered partially frozen to quite frozen ones. I sent them back and declined to wait for properly prepared ones. I ordered the honey garlic sauce to be put on the wings so they were stickey as I expected. As is done at other places there should have been a dish of water and lemon. Just the small packets of moistened tissues and I used 8 of them! There also should have been a pick of some sort to get the clams out of the shell. There was a totally unneeded knife and fork unless one insists on trying to extract the meat from the wing bones. At the 5 pm time of our visit, the place was not busy so, to my mind, there was no reason for the state of the food. The server was excellent.
